| 1 | 勿因作惡者生煩擾、勿因爲非者懷妒嫉、 | Fret not thyself because of evildoers, neither be thou envious against the workers of iniquity. |
| 2 | 彼如草芥、速被芟除、猶之青蔬、不久萎敗兮、 | For they shall soon be cut down like the grass, and wither as the green herb. |
| 3 | 當賴耶和華而行善、居於斯土、以其信實爲食兮、 | Trust in the Lord, and do good; so shalt thou dwell in the land, and verily thou shalt be fed. |
| 4 | 以耶和華爲悅、爾心所欲、彼必賜之兮、 | Delight thyself also in the Lord; and he shall give thee the desires of thine heart. |
| 5 | 以爾行徑託耶和華、惟彼是賴、則必成之兮、 | Commit thy way unto the Lord; trust also in him; and he shall bring it to pass. |
| 6 | 著爾之義、如光發耀、顯爾之公、如日方中兮、 | And he shall bring forth thy righteousness as the light, and thy judgment as the noonday. |
| 7 | 緘默於耶和華前、忍以望之、人之道途通達、人之惡謀得成、勿爲之生煩擾兮、 | Rest in the Lord, and wait patiently for him: fret not thyself because of him who prospereth in his way, because of the man who bringeth wicked devices to pass. |
| 8 | 息怒蠲忿、勿生煩擾、以致作慝兮、 | Cease from anger, and forsake wrath: fret not thyself in any wise to do evil. |
| 9 | 蓋作惡者必被翦除、惟望耶和華者、得承斯土兮、 | For evildoers shall be cut off: but those that wait upon the Lord, they shall inherit the earth. |
| 10 | 再延片時、惡者歸於烏有、察其居所、已杳然兮、 | For yet a little while, and the wicked shall not be: yea, thou shalt diligently consider his place, and it shall not be. |
| 11 | 惟謙卑者得承斯土、因雍和之盛而樂兮、 | But the meek shall inherit the earth; and shall delight themselves in the abundance of peace. |
| 12 | 惡人謀害義人、向之切齒、 | The wicked plotteth against the just, and gnasheth upon him with his teeth. |
| 13 | 主必哂之、因見其日將至兮、 | The Lord shall laugh at him: for he seeth that his day is coming. |
| 14 | 惡者拔刃彎弓、欲覆窮乏、殺正行之人兮、 | The wicked have drawn out the sword, and have bent their bow, to cast down the poor and needy, and to slay such as be of upright conversation. |
| 15 | 其刃必刺己心、其弓見折兮、 | Their sword shall enter into their own heart, and their bows shall be broken. |
| 16 | 義人所有些微、勝於惡人之豐裕兮、 | A little that a righteous man hath is better than the riches of many wicked. |
| 17 | 惡者之臂必見折、惟義者爲耶和華所扶兮、 | For the arms of the wicked shall be broken: but the Lord upholdeth the righteous. |
| 18 | 完人之時日、耶和華所知、其業永存兮、 | The Lord knoweth the days of the upright: and their inheritance shall be for ever. |
| 19 | 遘難之時、不至羞愧、遭饑之日、必得飽飫兮、 | They shall not be ashamed in the evil time: and in the days of famine they shall be satisfied. |
| 20 | 惡人必亡、耶和華之敵、如草場之華美、必將消滅、如煙之散兮、 | But the wicked shall perish, and the enemies of the Lord shall be as the fat of lambs: they shall consume; into smoke shall they consume away. |
| 21 | 惡者貸而弗償、義者行仁、而好施兮、 | The wicked borroweth, and payeth not again: but the righteous sheweth mercy, and giveth. |
| 22 | 耶和華所祝者、必承斯土、惟其所詛者、必被翦除兮、 | For such as be blessed of him shall inherit the earth; and they that be cursed of him shall be cut off. |
| 23 | 善人之步履、爲耶和華所定、其行徑、爲耶和華所悅兮、 | The steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord: and he delighteth in his way. |
| 24 | 彼卽顚蹶、不至不振、耶和華扶之以手兮、 | Though he fall, he shall not be utterly cast down: for the Lord upholdeth him with his hand. |
| 25 | 我幼而老、未見義者被遺、其裔丐食兮、 | I have been young, and now am old; yet have I not seen the righteous forsaken, nor his seed begging bread. |
| 26 | 義人終日行仁施貸、其裔蒙福兮、 | He is ever merciful, and lendeth; and his seed is blessed. |
| 27 | 去惡從善、則得久居兮、 | Depart from evil, and do good; and dwell for evermore. |
| 28 | 蓋耶和華惟義是悅、不遺聖民、使之永存、惡者之裔、必被翦除兮、 | For the Lord loveth judgment, and forsaketh not his saints; they are preserved for ever: but the seed of the wicked shall be cut off. |
| 29 | 義人必承斯土、恆久居處兮、 | The righteous shall inherit the land, and dwell therein for ever. |
| 30 | 義人口言智慧、舌道公平、 | The mouth of the righteous speaketh wisdom, and his tongue talketh of judgment. |
| 31 | 上帝之律在於其心、步履不滑跌兮、 | The law of his God is in his heart; none of his steps shall slide. |
| 32 | 惡人窺伺義人、意欲殺之兮、 | The wicked watcheth the righteous, and seeketh to slay him. |
| 33 | 耶和華不付於其手、鞫時亦不罪之兮、 | The Lord will not leave him in his hand, nor condemn him when he is judged. |
| 34 | 當企望耶和華、遵守其道、彼必擢爾、俾承斯土、惡人見絕、爾必目覩兮、 | Wait on the Lord, and keep his way, and he shall exalt thee to inherit the land: when the wicked are cut off, thou shalt see it. |
| 35 | 我見惡人勢盛、張大如青葱之樹、在其本土兮、 | I have seen the wicked in great power, and spreading himself like a green bay tree. |
| 36 | 或經其地、彼已烏有、我尋覓之、不得見兮、 | Yet he passed away, and, lo, he was not: yea, I sought him, but he could not be found. |
| 37 | 察完人、觀正人、慕和平者、其終有福兮、 | Mark the perfect man, and behold the upright: for the end of that man is peace. |
| 38 | 干罪者流、同歸滅沒、惡人終被翦除兮、 | But the transgressors shall be destroyed together: the end of the wicked shall be cut off. |
| 39 | 義者之拯救、由於耶和華、在患難時、彼爲其保障兮、 | But the salvation of the righteous is of the Lord: he is their strength in the time of trouble. |
| 40 | 耶和華助之援之、脫諸惡人、因其託庇於彼、乃拯救之兮、 | And the Lord shall help them, and deliver them: he shall deliver them from the wicked, and save them, because they trust in him. |
