| 2 | 我於其前、傾吐我苦情、陳述我患難兮、 | I poured out my complaint before him; I shewed before him my trouble. |
| 3 | 我神昏憒之時、爾知我徑、敵在我行之途、暗爲設網兮、 | When my spirit was overwhelmed within me, then thou knewest my path. In the way wherein I walked have they privily laid a snare for me. |
| 4 | 試觀我右、無人識我、無處避難、無人顧我兮、 | I looked on my right hand, and beheld, but there was no man that would know me: refuge failed me; no man cared for my soul. |
