| 1 | 耶和華歟、爾鑒察我、洞悉我兮、 | O Lord, thou hast searched me, and known me. |
| 2 | 我坐我起、爾皆知之、遙悉我之意念兮、 | Thou knowest my downsitting and mine uprising, thou understandest my thought afar off. |
| 3 | 我行我臥、爾察之詳、我之作爲、爾知之稔兮、 | Thou compassest my path and my lying down, and art acquainted with all my ways. |
| 4 | 耶和華歟、我舌有言、爾無不知兮、 | For there is not a word in my tongue, but, lo, O Lord, thou knowest it altogether. |
| 5 | 爾環我於前後、按手於我躬兮、 | Thou hast beset me behind and before, and laid thine hand upon me. |
| 6 | 維此知識、其妙我不能測、其高我不能及兮、 | Such knowledge is too wonderful for me; it is high, I cannot attain unto it. |
| 7 | 我何所往、以避爾神、我何所逃、以避爾面兮、 | Whither shall I go from thy spirit? or whither shall I flee from thy presence? |
| 8 | 若上升於高天、爾在於彼、若下榻於陰府、爾在於斯兮、 | If I ascend up into heaven, thou art there: if I make my bed in hell, behold, thou art there. |
| 9 | 若奮清晨之翼、居於海極、 | If I take the wings of the morning, and dwell in the uttermost parts of the sea; |
| 10 | 爾手必導我、爾右手必扶我兮、 | Even there shall thy hand lead me, and thy right hand shall hold me. |
| 11 | 若謂幽暗必蔽我、環我之光、變爲昏夜、 | If I say, Surely the darkness shall cover me; even the night shall be light about me. |
| 12 | 然在於爾、幽暗不能隱藏、昏夜昭明如晝、暗同於光兮、 | Yea, the darkness hideth not from thee; but the night shineth as the day: the darkness and the light are both alike to thee. |
| 13 | 我之臟腑、爾所締造、我在母胎、爾所組織兮、 | For thou hast possessed my reins: thou hast covered me in my mother’s womb. |
| 14 | 我必稱謝爾、因我受造奧妙可駭、爾之經綸奇異、我心深知兮、 | I will praise thee; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made: marvellous are thy works; and that my soul knoweth right well. |
| 15 | 我受造於暗中、被精製於地之深處、我之形骸、無隱於爾兮、 | My substance was not hid from thee, when I was made in secret, and curiously wrought in the lowest parts of the earth. |
| 16 | 我質未成、爾目見之、爲我所定之日、尚無其一、已盡錄於爾册兮、 | Thine eyes did see my substance, yet being unperfect; and in thy book all my members were written, which in continuance were fashioned, when as yet there was none of them. |
| 17 | 上帝歟、爾對我之意念何其寶、厥數何其多、 | How precious also are thy thoughts unto me, O God! how great is the sum of them! |
| 18 | 若核其數、多於海沙、我醒寤時、仍與爾偕兮、 | If I should count them, they are more in number than the sand: when I awake, I am still with thee. |
| 19 | 上帝歟、爾必戮惡人、嗜殺者歟、其遠我兮、 | Surely thou wilt slay the wicked, O God: depart from me therefore, ye bloody men. |
| 20 | 彼以惡言攻爾、爾敵妄稱爾名兮、 | For they speak against thee wickedly, and thine enemies take thy name in vain. |
| 21 | 耶和華歟、惡爾者、我詎不惡之、敵爾者、我詎不憎之乎、 | Do not I hate them, O Lord, that hate thee? and am not I grieved with those that rise up against thee? |
| 22 | 我惡之甚、彼爲我敵兮、 | I hate them with perfect hatred: I count them mine enemies. |
| 23 | 上帝歟、鑒我而知我心、試我而知我意、 | Search me, O God, and know my heart: try me, and know my thoughts: |
| 24 | 觀察我衷、有無惡行、導我於永生之途兮、 | And see if there be any wicked way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting. |
