| 1 | 結隊之女乎、今可和會成羣、彼衆已圍攻我、將以杖擊以色列士師之頰、 | Now gather thyself in troops, O daughter of troops: he hath laid siege against us: they shall smite the judge of Israel with a rod upon the cheek. |
| 2 | 伯利恆以法他乎、爾在猶大郡中爲小、然將有一人自爾而出、爲君於以色列、其原由於亙古、本於太初、 | But thou, Beth–lehem Ephratah, though thou be little among the thousands of Judah, yet out of thee shall he come forth unto me that is to be ruler in Israel; whose goings forth have been from of old, from everlasting. |
| 3 | 耶和華將付斯民於敵、迨姙婦生子之時、其昆弟之遺餘、將歸於以色列人、 | Therefore will he give them up, until the time that she which travaileth hath brought forth: then the remnant of his brethren shall return unto the children of Israel. |
| 4 | 彼必卓立、賴耶和華之力、與其上帝耶和華之威名、而牧其羣、使衆安居、彼必爲大、至於地極、 | And he shall stand and feed in the strength of the Lord, in the majesty of the name of the Lord his God; and they shall abide: for now shall he be great unto the ends of the earth. |
| 5 | 斯人將爲我之平康、當亞述人入我境、踐我宮時、我必興起七牧八伯以敵之、 | And this man shall be the peace, when the Assyrian shall come into our land: and when he shall tread in our palaces, then shall we raise against him seven shepherds, and eight principal men. |
| 6 | 彼將以刃毀亞述地、及甯錄地之關、亞述人入我地、踐我境時、彼必救我、 | And they shall waste the land of Assyria with the sword, and the land of Nimrod in the entrances thereof: thus shall he deliver us from the Assyrian, when he cometh into our land, and when he treadeth within our borders. |
| 7 | 雅各遺民、必在多邦中、若湛露由於耶和華、若甘霖施於草、不待於人、不須世人也、 | And the remnant of Jacob shall be in the midst of many people as a dew from the Lord, as the showers upon the grass, that tarrieth not for man, nor waiteth for the sons of men. |
| 8 | 雅各遺民、必在諸國多民中、若獅於林間百獸之中、若稚獅於羣羊之中、如其經過、則踐踏裂碎之、無人救援、 | And the remnant of Jacob shall be among the Gentiles in the midst of many people as a lion among the beasts of the forest, as a young lion among the flocks of sheep: who, if he go through, both treadeth down, and teareth in pieces, and none can deliver. |
| 9 | 願爾手舉於仇讐之上、願爾敵悉見絕焉、○ | Thine hand shall be lifted up upon thine adversaries, and all thine enemies shall be cut off. |

| 11 | 毀爾地之城邑、傾爾諸保障、 | And I will cut off the cities of thy land, and throw down all thy strong holds: |
| 12 | 絕爾中之巫術、俾不復有占卜者、 | And I will cut off witchcrafts out of thine hand; and thou shalt have no more soothsayers: |
| 13 | 絕爾中之雕像柱像、使爾不復拜己手所造之物、 | Thy graven images also will I cut off, and thy standing images out of the midst of thee; and thou shalt no more worship the work of thine hands. |
| 14 | 拔爾中之木偶、毀爾諸敵、 | And I will pluck up thy groves out of the midst of thee: so will I destroy thy cities. |
| 15 | 不順之邦、我必發忿震怒以報之、 | And I will execute vengeance in anger and fury upon the heathen, such as they have not heard. |
