| 1 | 在牀謀惡營邪、迨至黎明、以手有力而行之者、其人禍哉、 | Woe to them that devise iniquity, and work evil upon their beds! when the morning is light, they practise it, because it is in the power of their hand. |
| 2 | 彼貪田畝而奪之、貪第宅而取之、且虐待其人與家、而據其業、 | And they covet fields, and take them by violence; and houses, and take them away: so they oppress a man and his house, even a man and his heritage. |
| 3 | 故耶和華曰、我必籌一災禍、以罰斯族、爾不得脫於項、不得昂首而行、以此乃患難之時也、 | Therefore thus saith the Lord; Behold, against this family do I devise an evil, from which ye shall not remove your necks; neither shall ye go haughtily: for this time is evil. |
| 4 | 是日也、人將爲爾作諷詞、發悲慘之哀歌曰、我儕悉敗、彼移我民之業、使其離我、以我田畝、分予悖逆之人、 | In that day shall one take up a parable against you, and lament with a doleful lamentation, and say, We be utterly spoiled: he hath changed the portion of my people: how hath he removed it from me! turning away he hath divided our fields. |
| 5 | 故在耶和華會中、掣籤引繩者、爾中無一人焉、 | Therefore thou shalt have none that shall cast a cord by lot in the congregation of the Lord. |
| 6 | 彼云、爾曹勿言預言、勿道此事、侮辱之言、永不止息、 | Prophesy ye not, say they to them that prophesy: they shall not prophesy to them, that they shall not take shame. |
| 7 | 雅各家歟、豈可曰耶和華之神褊急乎、此事豈彼所爲、我言非有益於正行者乎、 | O thou that art named the house of Jacob, is the spirit of the Lord straitened? are these his doings? do not my words do good to him that walketh uprightly? |
| 8 | 邇來我民興起若敵、有人安然而行、不好戰鬬、彼乃奪其外服、祇留裏衣、 | Even of late my people is risen up as an enemy: ye pull off the robe with the garment from them that pass by securely as men averse from war. |
| 9 | 爾逐我民婦、離其安宅、永奪我榮於其幼稚、 | The women of my people have ye cast out from their pleasant houses; from their children have ye taken away my glory for ever. |
| 10 | 爾起而往、此非爾安息之所、汚穢必敗壞之、其敗壞甚矣、 | Arise ye, and depart; for this is not your rest: because it is polluted, it shall destroy you, even with a sore destruction. |
| 11 | 如人從虛僞、尚誑言、曰、我論清酒醇醪、向爾預言、彼則可爲斯民之先知焉、○ | If a man walking in the spirit and falsehood do lie, saying, I will prophesy unto thee of wine and of strong drink; he shall even be the prophet of this people. |
| 12 | 雅各歟、我必集爾衆、亦必聚以色列之遺民、置於一所、若牢中之羊、場內之羣、因人衆多、其聲譁然、 | I will surely assemble, O Jacob, all of thee; I will surely gather the remnant of Israel; I will put them together as the sheep of Bozrah, as the flock in the midst of their fold: they shall make great noise by reason of the multitude of men. |
| 13 | 闢路者前往、衆乃衝至邑門、自邑門而出、其王先之而行、耶和華導於其前、 | The breaker is come up before them: they have broken up, and have passed through the gate, and are gone out by it: and their king shall pass before them, and the Lord on the head of them. |
