| 1 | 如人或聞或知其事、能爲其證、旣聞召爲確證、而不以告、於是有罪、必任厥咎、 | And if a soul sin, and hear the voice of swearing, and is a witness, whether he hath seen or known of it; if he do not utter it, then he shall bear his iniquity. |
| 2 | 如捫野獸六畜昆蟲不潔之尸、以致自汚、而不自知、則爲有罪、 | Or if a soul touch any unclean thing, whether it be a carcase of an unclean beast, or a carcase of unclean cattle, or the carcase of unclean creeping things, and if it be hidden from him; he also shall be unclean, and guilty. |
| 3 | 如捫人之不潔、而不自知、無論所汚若何、迨及知之、則爲有罪、 | Or if he touch the uncleanness of man, whatsoever uncleanness it be that a man shall be defiled withal, and it be hid from him; when he knoweth of it, then he shall be guilty. |
| 4 | 如人造次發誓、行善行惡、而不自知、無論所誓何若、迨及知之、則爲有罪、 | Or if a soul swear, pronouncing with his lips to do evil, or to do good, whatsoever it be that a man shall pronounce with an oath, and it be hid from him; when he knoweth of it, then he shall be guilty in one of these. |
| 5 | 以上數罪、若犯其一、則當自認其罪、 | And it shall be, when he shall be guilty in one of these things, that he shall confess that he hath sinned in that thing: |
| 6 | 因其所犯之罪、必攜牝羊、或羔羊或山羊、以爲補過贖罪之祭、獻於耶和華、祭司代爲贖罪、 | And he shall bring his trespass offering unto the Lord for his sin which he hath sinned, a female from the flock, a lamb or a kid of the goats, for a sin offering; and the priest shall make an atonement for him concerning his sin. |
| 7 | 如其資財、不足備羔、則必緣其所犯之罪、攜鳲鳩二、或雛鴿二、詣耶和華前、一爲贖罪之祭、一爲燔祭、 | And if he be not able to bring a lamb, then he shall bring for his trespass, which he hath committed, two turtledoves, or two young pigeons, unto the Lord; one for a sin offering, and the other for a burnt offering. |
| 8 | 攜至祭司、祭司先獻其一、爲贖罪之祭、扭去其首、弗剖其體、 | And he shall bring them unto the priest, who shall offer that which is for the sin offering first, and wring off his head from his neck, but shall not divide it asunder: |
| 9 | 取血少許、灑於壇旁、瀝餘血於壇基、是爲贖罪之祭、 | And he shall sprinkle of the blood of the sin offering upon the side of the altar; and the rest of the blood shall be wrung out at the bottom of the altar: it is a sin offering. |
| 10 | 後復獻其一、以爲燔祭、循其常例、祭司代爲贖罪、乃蒙赦宥、 | And he shall offer the second for a burnt offering, according to the manner: and the priest shall make an atonement for him for his sin which he hath sinned, and it shall be forgiven him. |
| 11 | 如其資財、不足備鳲鳩、或雛鴿、則獻細麪伊法十分之一、爲贖罪之祭、勿置油、勿加乳香、蓋爲贖罪之祭、 | But if he be not able to bring two turtledoves, or two young pigeons, then he that sinned shall bring for his offering the tenth part of an ephah of fine flour for a sin offering; he shall put no oil upon it, neither shall he put any frankincense thereon: for it is a sin offering. |
| 12 | 攜至祭司、祭司取其一撮、以爲記誌、焚之於壇、在耶和華火祭之上、是爲贖罪之祭、 | Then shall he bring it to the priest, and the priest shall take his handful of it, even a memorial thereof, and burn it on the altar, according to the offerings made by fire unto the Lord: it is a sin offering. |
| 13 | 若犯以上數罪之一、祭司代爲贖罪、乃蒙赦宥、祭物之餘、悉歸祭司、若素祭然、○ | And the priest shall make an atonement for him as touching his sin that he hath sinned in one of these, and it shall be forgiven him: and the remnant shall be the priest’s, as a meat offering. |
| 14 | 耶和華諭摩西曰、 | And the Lord spake unto Moses, saying, |
| 15 | 如人於獻耶和華之聖物、偶有差失、致獲罪愆、則必獻補過之祭於耶和華、卽牡綿羊之一、純全無疵、循聖所權衡、依爾所估之價、幾舍客勒、以補其過、 | If a soul commit a trespass, and sin through ignorance, in the holy things of the Lord; then he shall bring for his trespass unto the Lord a ram without blemish out of the flocks, with thy estimation by shekels of silver, after the shekel of the sanctuary, for a trespass offering: |
| 16 | 於聖物之差失、必償所缺、加五分之一、攜至祭司、祭司取羊、代爲贖罪、乃蒙赦宥、○ | And he shall make amends for the harm that he hath done in the holy thing, and shall add the fifth part thereto, and give it unto the priest: and the priest shall make an atonement for him with the ram of the trespass offering, and it shall be forgiven him. |
| 17 | 如人犯罪、干耶和華之命、爲所不當爲、雖出無意、亦爲有過、必任其咎、 | And if a soul sin, and commit any of these things which are forbidden to be done by the commandments of the Lord; though he wist it not, yet is he guilty, and shall bear his iniquity. |
| 18 | 必以牡綿羊之一、純全無疵、依爾所估之價、攜至祭司、祭司緣其無知而犯之過、代爲贖罪、乃蒙赦宥、 | And he shall bring a ram without blemish out of the flock, with thy estimation, for a trespass offering, unto the priest: and the priest shall make an atonement for him concerning his ignorance wherein he erred and wist it not, and it shall be forgiven him. |
| 19 | 此乃補過之祭、緣其人在耶和華前、實有罪戾也、 | It is a trespass offering: he hath certainly trespassed against the Lord. |
