1 耶和華諭摩西曰、告亞倫子孫爲祭司者云、族中有死亡者、勿因之自汚、 And the Lord said unto Moses, Speak unto the priests the sons of Aaron, and say unto them, There shall none be defiled for the dead among his people:
2 惟骨肉之親、如父母、兄弟、子女、則可、 But for his kin, that is near unto him, that is, for his mother, and for his father, and for his son, and for his daughter, and for his brother,
3 姊妹尚爲處女、未適人者、亦可、 And for his sister a virgin, that is nigh unto him, which hath had no husband; for her may he be defiled.
4 旣爲民長、則勿從俗、致汚己身、 But he shall not defile himself, being a chief man among his people, to profane himself.
5 祭司勿髠髮、勿薙鬚之四周、勿割肉、 They shall not make baldness upon their head, neither shall they shave off the corner of their beard, nor make any cuttings in their flesh.
6 旣獻火祭於耶和華、享厥上帝、故當成聖歸之、毋凟上帝之名、 They shall be holy unto their God, and not profane the name of their God: for the offerings of the Lord made by fire, and the bread of their God, they do offer: therefore they shall be holy.
7 祭司爲聖、歸於上帝、故娼妓、淫女、棄婦、勿娶、 They shall not take a wife that is a whore, or profane; neither shall they take a woman put away from her husband: for he is holy unto his God.
8 必以祭司爲聖、因其獻食於上帝、必視之爲聖、蓋我耶和華乃聖、使爾爲聖也、 Thou shalt sanctify him therefore; for he offereth the bread of thy God: he shall be holy unto thee: for I the Lord, which sanctify you, am holy.
9 如祭司之女行淫自玷、是辱其父、必爇以火、○ And the daughter of any priest, if she profane herself by playing the whore, she profaneth her father: she shall be burnt with fire.
10 兄弟中爲大祭司者、首沐以膏、任聖職、衣聖服、勿披髮、勿裂衣、 And he that is the high priest among his brethren, upon whose head the anointing oil was poured, and that is consecrated to put on the garments, shall not uncover his head, nor rend his clothes;
11 勿近尸、卽父母之尸、亦勿緣之自汚、 Neither shall he go in to any dead body, nor defile himself for his father, or for his mother;
12 勿出聖所、勿汚上帝之聖所、緣上帝之膏、加於其首以爲冕、我乃耶和華也、 Neither shall he go out of the sanctuary, nor profane the sanctuary of his God; for the crown of the anointing oil of his God is upon him: I am the Lord.
13 必娶處女爲室、 And he shall take a wife in her virginity.
14 嫠婦、棄婦、淫女、娼妓、勿娶、惟宗族之處女、則可、 A widow, or a divorced woman, or profane, or an harlot, these shall he not take: but he shall take a virgin of his own people to wife.
15 勿使其苗裔玷於民中、蓋我乃耶和華、使之成聖也、○ Neither shall he profane his seed among his people: for I the Lord do sanctify him.
16 耶和華諭摩西曰、 And the Lord spake unto Moses, saying,
17 告亞倫云、凡爾歷世子孫、厥體有疵者、勿近其上帝而獻食、 Speak unto Aaron, saying, Whosoever he be of thy seed in their generations that hath any blemish, let him not approach to offer the bread of his God.
18 凡體有疵者、不得近之、如瞽、跛、凹鼻、肢體不均、 For whatsoever man he be that hath a blemish, he shall not approach: a blind man, or a lame, or he that hath a flat nose, or any thing superfluous,
19 或手足傷毀、 Or a man that is brokenfooted, or brokenhanded,
20 或傴僂、或侏儒、或瞕翳、或疥癬、或瘡痍、或傷損外腎、 Or crookbackt, or a dwarf, or that hath a blemish in his eye, or be scurvy, or scabbed, or hath his stones broken;
21 凡祭司亞倫之裔、厥體有疵者、勿近耶和華、以獻火祭、體旣有疵、不得進前、獻食於其上帝、 No man that hath a blemish of the seed of Aaron the priest shall come nigh to offer the offerings of the Lord made by fire: he hath a blemish; he shall not come nigh to offer the bread of his God.
22 所獻上帝之食、無論聖與至聖、彼亦得而食之、 He shall eat the bread of his God, both of the most holy, and of the holy.
23 㡘內不可入、壇前不可近、體旣有疵、恐其玷我聖所、蓋我乃耶和華、使之成聖也、 Only he shall not go in unto the vail, nor come nigh unto the altar, because he hath a blemish; that he profane not my sanctuaries: for I the Lord do sanctify them.
24 摩西以此告亞倫及其子、並以色列衆、 And Moses told it unto Aaron, and to his sons, and unto all the children of Israel.
