|---|---|---|
瑪代族、亞哈隨魯子大利烏立爲王、治迦勒底人之國、 | In the first year of Darius the son of Ahasuerus, of the seed of the Medes, which was made king over the realm of the Chaldeans;
元年、我但以理閱書所載、知耶和華諭先知耶利米之言、耶路撒冷荒蕪、歷七十年乃滿、 | In the first year of his reign I Daniel understood by books the number of the years, whereof the word of the Lord came to Jeremiah the prophet, that he would accomplish seventy years in the desolations of Jerusalem.
我決意以禱告祈求、禁食衣麻蒙灰、尋主上帝、 | And I set my face unto the Lord God, to seek by prayer and supplications, with fasting, and sackcloth, and ashes:
遂禱我上帝耶和華、認罪曰、主歟、尊大可畏之上帝、愛主而遵主命者、爲之踐約施恩、 | And I prayed unto the Lord my God, and made my confession, and said, O Lord, the great and dreadful God, keeping the covenant and mercy to them that love him, and to them that keep his commandments;
我儕犯罪乖戾、行惡悖逆、離爾訓詞律例、 | We have sinned, and have committed iniquity, and have done wickedly, and have rebelled, even by departing from thy precepts and from thy judgments:
未聽爾僕諸先知、奉爾之名告我君王、牧伯列祖、及國中庶民之言、 | Neither have we hearkened unto thy servants the prophets, which spake in thy name to our kings, our princes, and our fathers, and to all the people of the land.
主歟、惟爾爲義、我則蒙羞、有如今日、猶大人、耶路撒冷居民、及以色列衆、因其獲罪於爾、或遠或近、被驅至於諸國、 | O Lord, righteousness belongeth unto thee, but unto us confusion of faces, as at this day; to the men of Judah, and to the inhabitants of Jerusalem, and unto all Israel, that are near, and that are far off, through all the countries whither thou hast driven them, because of their trespass that they have trespassed against thee.
主歟、我與我之君王、牧伯列祖、因獲罪於爾、俱蒙羞恥、 | O Lord, to us belongeth confusion of face, to our kings, to our princes, and to our fathers, because we have sinned against thee.
我主我上帝、恆懷矜憫赦宥、而我儕悖逆之、 | To the Lord our God belong mercies and forgivenesses, though we have rebelled against him;
不聽我上帝耶和華之言、不行爾藉爾僕諸先知所示我之法律、 | Neither have we obeyed the voice of the Lord our God, to walk in his laws, which he set before us by his servants the prophets.
以色列全族干犯爾律、轉而離爾、不聽爾言、故上帝僕摩西律中、所載之呪詛誓詞、臨於我躬、以我獲罪於上帝也、 | Yea, all Israel have transgressed thy law, even by departing, that they might not obey thy voice; therefore the curse is poured upon us, and the oath that is written in the law of Moses the servant of God, because we have sinned against him.
彼對我儕、及鞫我之士師所言者、今則成之、而降大災於我、耶路撒冷所遘之災、天下未嘗遭焉、 | And he hath confirmed his words, which he spake against us, and against our judges that judged us, by bringing upon us a great evil: for under the whole heaven hath not been done as hath been done upon Jerusalem.
斯災臨我、乃依摩西律中所載、而我猶不求恩於我上帝耶和華、棄離我之罪愆、洞悉爾之眞道、 | As it is written in the law of Moses, all this evil is come upon us: yet made we not our prayer before the Lord our God, that we might turn from our iniquities, and understand thy truth.
故耶和華顧視、而降此災於我、蓋我上帝耶和華所行、無不公義、惟我不聽其言、 | Therefore hath the Lord watched upon the evil, and brought it upon us: for the Lord our God is righteous in all his works which he doeth: for we obeyed not his voice.
主我之上帝歟、昔以巨能之手、導爾民出埃及、而得聲譽、有如今日、惟我犯罪行惡、 | And now, O Lord our God, that hast brought thy people forth out of the land of Egypt with a mighty hand, and hast gotten thee renown, as at this day; we have sinned, we have done wickedly.
主歟、願依爾仁義、使爾忿怒、轉離爾邑耶路撒冷、卽爾聖山、今因我儕之罪、及我列祖之愆、耶路撒冷與爾民、爲四周之人所辱、 | O Lord, according to all thy righteousness, I beseech thee, let thine anger and thy fury be turned away from thy city Jerusalem, thy holy mountain: because for our sins, and for the iniquities of our fathers, Jerusalem and thy people are become a reproach to all that are about us.
我上帝歟、請聽爾僕之禱告祈求、爲爾之故、以爾容光、照爾荒寂之聖所、 | Now therefore, O our God, hear the prayer of thy servant, and his supplications, and cause thy face to shine upon thy sanctuary that is desolate, for the Lord’s sake.
我上帝歟、求爾傾耳而聽、啟目視我荒蕪之區、及以爾名而稱之邑、我陳所祈於爾前、非因己義、乃因爾之鴻慈也、 | O my God, incline thine ear, and hear; open thine eyes, and behold our desolations, and the city which is called by thy name: for we do not present our supplications before thee for our righteousnesses, but for thy great mercies.
主歟、聽之、主歟、宥之、主歟、俯聽而施行之、我上帝歟、爲爾之故、勿延緩、蓋斯邑斯民、俱以爾名而稱也、○ | O Lord, hear; O Lord, forgive; O Lord, hearken and do; defer not, for thine own sake, O my God: for thy city and thy people are called by thy name.
我尚出言祈禱、自認己罪、及我民以色列之罪、爲我上帝聖山、陳所祈於我上帝耶和華前、 | And whiles I was speaking, and praying, and confessing my sin and the sin of my people Israel, and presenting my supplication before the Lord my God for the holy mountain of my God;
祈禱之際、獻晚祭時、我前於異象中、所見之加百列、疾飛詣我、 | Yea, whiles I was speaking in prayer, even the man Gabriel, whom I had seen in the vision at the beginning, being caused to fly swiftly, touched me about the time of the evening oblation.
與我言而誨我曰、但以理歟、今我出而至此、錫爾聰明智慧、 | And he informed me, and talked with me, and said, O Daniel, I am now come forth to give thee skill and understanding.
爾始祈時、有命出、我則來示爾、蓋爾大蒙眷愛、當思維斯事、而明其異象、 | At the beginning of thy supplications the commandment came forth, and I am come to shew thee; for thou art greatly beloved: therefore understand the matter, and consider the vision.
爲爾民與爾聖邑、已定以七日爲期、以七十相乘、用是遏過犯、除罪戾、滌愆尤、彰永義、證異象及預言、膏至聖者、 | Seventy weeks are determined upon thy people and upon thy holy city, to finish the transgression, and to make an end of sins, and to make reconciliation for iniquity, and to bring in everlasting righteousness, and to seal up the vision and prophecy, and to anoint the most Holy.
爾當知覺、自初命復建耶路撒冷、至有受膏之君、必歷七日、相乘以七、又歷七日、乘以六十二、其邑必復建、且有街有濠、斯時必際困難、 | Know therefore and understand, that from the going forth of the commandment to restore and to build Jerusalem unto the Messiah the Prince shall be seven weeks, and threescore and two weeks: the street shall be built again, and the wall, even in troublous times.
七日乘以六十二後、受膏者必見絕、空諸所有、且有一君之民將至、毀城及聖所、其終若爲洪水所淹、戰鬬至終、荒蕪已定、 | And after threescore and two weeks shall Messiah be cut off, but not for himself: and the people of the prince that shall come shall destroy the city and the sanctuary; and the end thereof shall be with a flood, and unto the end of the war desolations are determined.
彼與多人將立堅約、歷至七日、一七之間、使祭祀與祭品俱息、殘賊者藉可憎之翼而來、且有忿怒、傾於行毀滅者、至於所定之末期、 | And he shall confirm the covenant with many for one week: and in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease, and for the overspreading of abominations he shall make it desolate, even until the consummation, and that determined shall be poured upon the desolate.
