1 建垣旣竣、我置門扉、立司閽者、謳歌者、及利未人、 Now it came to pass, when the wall was built, and I had set up the doors, and the porters and the singers and the Levites were appointed,
2 立吾弟哈拿尼、及司保障之哈拿尼雅、同治耶路撒冷、哈拿尼雅爲人忠誠、寅畏上帝、超越於衆、 That I gave my brother Hanani, and Hananiah the ruler of the palace, charge over Jerusalem: for he was a faithful man, and feared God above many.
3 我告之曰、待日上升、乃可啟耶路撒冷邑門、閽人尚立守時、卽令閉門上楗、又使居民、依其班次、各於室前防守、 And I said unto them, Let not the gates of Jerusalem be opened until the sun be hot; and while they stand by, let them shut the doors, and bar them: and appoint watches of the inhabitants of Jerusalem, every one in his watch, and every one to be over against his house.
4 其城廣大、居民鮮少、第宅未建、 Now the city was large and great: but the people were few therein, and the houses were not builded.
5 我上帝感我之心、集諸顯者、民長庶民、循其譜系核之、初歸者之譜系、爲我所得、載曰、 And my God put into mine heart to gather together the nobles, and the rulers, and the people, that they might be reckoned by genealogy. And I found a register of the genealogy of them which came up at the first, and found written therein,
6 猶大州人、爲巴比倫王尼布甲尼撒所虜者、今自俘囚、返耶路撒冷及猶大、各居其邑、 These are the children of the province, that went up out of the captivity, of those that had been carried away, whom Nebuchadnezzar the king of Babylon had carried away, and came again to Jerusalem and to Judah, every one unto his city;
7 乃與所羅巴伯、耶書亞、尼希米、亞撒利雅、拉米、拿哈瑪尼、末底改、必珊、米斯毘列、比革瓦伊、尼宏、巴拿偕來、其數列左、 Who came with Zerubbabel, Jeshua, Nehemiah, Azariah, Raamiah, Nahamani, Mordecai, Bilshan, Mispereth, Bigvai, Nehum, Baanah. The number, I say, of the men of the people of Israel was this;
8 巴錄裔、二千一百七十二人、 The children of Parosh, two thousand an hundred seventy and two.
9 示法提雅裔、三百七十二人、 The children of Shephatiah, three hundred seventy and two.
10 亞拉裔、六百五十二人、 The children of Arah, six hundred fifty and two.
11 巴哈摩押裔、卽耶書亞及約押子孫、二千八百十八人、 The children of Pahath–moab, of the children of Jeshua and Joab, two thousand and eight hundred and eighteen.
12 以攔裔、一千二百五十四人、 The children of Elam, a thousand two hundred fifty and four.
13 薩土裔、八百四十五人、 The children of Zattu, eight hundred forty and five.
14 薩改裔、七百六十人、 The children of Zaccai, seven hundred and threescore.
15 賓內裔、六百四十八人、 The children of Binnui, six hundred forty and eight.
16 比拜裔、六百二十八人、 The children of Bebai, six hundred twenty and eight.
17 押甲裔、二千三百二十二人、 The children of Azgad, two thousand three hundred twenty and two.
18 亞多尼干裔、六百六十七人、 The children of Adonikam, six hundred threescore and seven.
19 比革瓦伊裔、二千有六十七人、 The children of Bigvai, two thousand threescore and seven.
20 亞丁裔、六百五十五人、 The children of Adin, six hundred fifty and five.
21 亞特裔、卽希西家子孫、九十八人、 The children of Ater of Hezekiah, ninety and eight.
22 哈順裔、三百二十八人、 The children of Hashum, three hundred twenty and eight.
23 比賽裔、三百二十四人、 The children of Bezai, three hundred twenty and four.
24 哈拉裔、百有十二人、 The children of Hariph, an hundred and twelve.

26 伯利恆、尼陀法之人、一百八十八人、 The men of Beth–lehem and Netophah, an hundred fourscore and eight.
27 亞拿突人、一百二十八人、 The men of Anathoth, an hundred twenty and eight.
28 伯亞斯瑪弗人、四十二人、 The men of Beth–azmaveth, forty and two.
29 基列耶琳基非拉比錄之人、七百四十三人、 The men of Kirjath–jearim, Chephirah, and Beeroth, seven hundred forty and three.
30 拉瑪迦巴之人、六百二十一人、 The men of Ramah and Geba, six hundred twenty and one.
31 默瑪人、一百二十二人、 The men of Michmas, an hundred and twenty and two.
32 伯特利及艾之人、一百二十三人、 The men of Beth–el and Ai, an hundred twenty and three.
33 其他尼波之人、五十二人、 The men of the other Nebo, fifty and two.
34 其他以攔之裔、一千二百五十四人、 The children of the other Elam, a thousand two hundred fifty and four.
35 哈琳裔、三百二十人、 The children of Harim, three hundred and twenty.

40 音麥裔、一千有五十二人、 The children of Immer, a thousand fifty and two.
41 巴施戶珥裔、一千二百四十七人、 The children of Pashur, a thousand two hundred forty and seven.
42 哈琳裔、一千有十七人、 The children of Harim, a thousand and seventeen.
43 利未人、何達威裔、卽耶書亞甲篾子孫、七十四人、 The Levites: the children of Jeshua, of Kadmiel, and of the children of Hodevah, seventy and four.
44 謳歌者、亞薩裔、一百四十八人、 The singers: the children of Asaph, an hundred forty and eight.
45 司閽者、沙龍、亞特、達們、亞谷、哈底大、朔拜之裔、共一百三十八人、 The porters: the children of Shallum, the children of Ater, the children of Talmon, the children of Akkub, the children of Hatita, the children of Shobai, an hundred thirty and eight.
46 尼提甯人、西哈、哈蘇巴、答巴俄、 The Nethinims: the children of Ziha, the children of Hashupha, the children of Tabbaoth,
47 基綠、西亞、巴頓、 The children of Keros, the children of Sia, the children of Padon,
48 利巴拿、哈迦巴、薩買、 The children of Lebana, the children of Hagaba, the children of Shalmai,
49 哈難、吉德、迦哈、 The children of Hanan, the children of Giddel, the children of Gahar,
50 利亞雅、利汛、尼哥大、 The children of Reaiah, the children of Rezin, the children of Nekoda,
51 迦散、烏撒、巴西亞、 The children of Gazzam, the children of Uzza, the children of Phaseah,
52 比賽、米烏甯、尼普心、 The children of Besai, the children of Meunim, the children of Nephishesim,
53 巴卜、哈谷巴、哈忽、 The children of Bakbuk, the children of Hakupha, the children of Harhur,
54 巴洗律、米希大、哈沙、 The children of Bazlith, the children of Mehida, the children of Harsha,
55 巴柯、西西拉、答瑪、 The children of Barkos, the children of Sisera, the children of Tamah,
56 尼細亞、哈提法、諸人之裔、 The children of Neziah, the children of Hatipha.
57 所羅門僕之後、瑣太、瑣斐列、比路大、 The children of Solomon’s servants: the children of Sotai, the children of Sophereth, the children of Perida,
58 雅拉、達昆、吉德、 The children of Jaala, the children of Darkon, the children of Giddel,
59 示法提雅、哈替、玻黑列哈斯巴音、亞們、諸人之裔、 The children of Shephatiah, the children of Hattil, the children of Pochereth of Zebaim, the children of Amon.
60 尼提甯人、及所羅門僕之後、共三百九十二人、 All the Nethinims, and the children of Solomon’s servants, were three hundred ninety and two.
61 有自特米拉、特哈薩、基綠、亞頓、音麥而來者、不能述其宗族譜系、不知屬以色列否、 And these were they which went up also from Tel–melah, Tel–haresha, Cherub, Addon, and Immer: but they could not shew their father’s house, nor their seed, whether they were of Israel.
62 卽第來雅、多比雅、尼哥大之裔、共六百四十二人、 The children of Delaiah, the children of Tobiah, the children of Nekoda, six hundred forty and two.
63 祭司之後、有哈巴雅、哈哥斯、巴西萊之裔、巴西萊娶基列人巴西萊之女、因以其名名己、 And of the priests: the children of Habaiah, the children of Koz, the children of Barzillai, which took one of the daughters of Barzillai the Gileadite to wife, and was called after their name.
64 此三家之裔、索其譜系不獲、故爲不潔、不得供祭司之職、 These sought their register among those that were reckoned by genealogy, but it was not found: therefore were they, as polluted, put from the priesthood.
65 方伯曰、至聖之物、彼不可食、迨至有烏陵土明之祭司起、 And the Tirshatha said unto them, that they should not eat of the most holy things, till there stood up a priest with Urim and Thummim.
66 會衆計四萬二千三百六十人、 The whole congregation together was forty and two thousand three hundred and threescore,
67 此外、有僕婢七千三百三十七人、男女謳歌者、二百四十五人、 Beside their manservants and their maidservants, of whom there were seven thousand three hundred thirty and seven: and they had two hundred forty and five singing men and singing women.
68 馬七百三十六、騾二百四十五、 Their horses, seven hundred thirty and six: their mules, two hundred forty and five:
69 駝四百三十五、驢六千七百二十、 Their camels, four hundred thirty and five: six thousand seven hundred and twenty asses.
70 有族長爲工作而輸、方伯輸庫、金幣一千、盂五十、祭司之衣五百三十、 And some of the chief of the fathers gave unto the work. The Tirshatha gave to the treasure a thousand drams of gold, fifty basons, five hundred and thirty priests’ garments.
71 又有族長輸於工作庫、金幣二萬、銀二千二百彌拿、 And some of the chief of the fathers gave to the treasure of the work twenty thousand drams of gold, and two thousand and two hundred pound of silver.
72 餘民輸金幣二萬、銀二千彌拿、祭司之衣六十七、 And that which the rest of the people gave was twenty thousand drams of gold, and two thousand pound of silver, and threescore and seven priests’ garments.
73 於是祭司利未人、司閽者、謳歌者、民間庶人、尼提甯人、與以色列衆、各居其邑、 So the priests, and the Levites, and the porters, and the singers, and some of the people, and the Nethinims, and all Israel, dwelt in their cities; and when the seventh month came, the children of Israel were in their cities.
