1 兄弟乎、論及神貺、我不欲爾不知也、 Now concerning spiritual gifts, brethren, I would not have you ignorant.
2 爾爲異邦人時、惑於瘖偶、隨所牽引、爾所知也、 Ye know that ye were Gentiles, carried away unto these dumb idols, even as ye were led.
3 故我示爾、感於上帝之神、而謂耶穌可詛者、未之有也、不感於聖神、而能稱耶穌爲主者、亦未之有也、○ Wherefore I give you to understand, that no man speaking by the Spirit of God calleth Jesus accursed: and that no man can say that Jesus is the Lord, but by the Holy Ghost.
4 恩賜有殊、而神惟一、 Now there are diversities of gifts, but the same Spirit.
5 職事有殊、而主惟一、 And there are differences of administrations, but the same Lord.
6 功用有殊、而上帝惟一、行萬事於衆中、 And there are diversities of operations, but it is the same God which worketh all in all.
7 聖神之顯著、賦於各人、以致其益、 But the manifestation of the Spirit is given to every man to profit withal.
8 或由聖神賦以睿智之言、或由聖神賦以知識之言、 For to one is given by the Spirit the word of wisdom; to another the word of knowledge by the same Spirit;
9 又或由聖神賦以信德、或由聖神賦以醫術、 To another faith by the same Spirit; to another the gifts of healing by the same Spirit;
10 更或賦以異能、或以豫言、或辨諸神、或言方言、或譯方言、 To another the working of miracles; to another prophecy; to another discerning of spirits; to another divers kinds of tongues; to another the interpretation of tongues:
11 此皆一神所行、隨其所欲而頒予之、○ But all these worketh that one and the selfsame Spirit, dividing to every man severally as he will.
12 猶身一而體百、身之體雖多、究爲一身、基督亦然、 For as the body is one, and hath many members, and all the members of that one body, being many, are one body: so also is Christ.
13 蓋我衆不論猶太、希利尼、爲奴、自主、皆受洗於一神、合爲一身、且皆飲於一神焉、 For by one Spirit are we all baptized into one body, whether we be Jews or Gentiles, whether we be bond or free; and have been all made to drink into one Spirit.
14 夫身非一體、乃百體、 For the body is not one member, but many.
15 倘足云、吾非手、不屬身、非果不屬身也、 If the foot shall say, Because I am not the hand, I am not of the body; is it therefore not of the body?
16 倘耳云、吾非目、不屬身、亦非果不屬身也、 And if the ear shall say, Because I am not the eye, I am not of the body; is it therefore not of the body?
17 若身盡爲目、何以聽、盡爲耳、何以嗅、 If the whole body were an eye, where were the hearing? If the whole were hearing, where were the smelling?
18 今上帝隨其所欲、置百體於身、 But now hath God set the members every one of them in the body, as it hath pleased him.
19 如悉爲一體、則身安在、 And if they were all one member, where were the body?
20 故體雖多、而身則一、 But now are they many members, yet but one body.
21 目不能謂手曰、吾弗需爾、首不能謂足曰、吾弗需爾、 And the eye cannot say unto the hand, I have no need of thee: nor again the head to the feet, I have no need of you.
22 反是、身之百體、其似弱者、尤爲要也、 Nay, much more those members of the body, which seem to be more feeble, are necessary:
23 人所視爲體之賤者、則愈尊之、致不雅者益雅矣、 And those members of the body, which we think to be less honourable, upon these we bestow more abundant honour; and our uncomely parts have more abundant comeliness.
24 夫體之雅者、無所需也、上帝調和人身、使不尊者益尊、 For our comely parts have no need: but God hath tempered the body together, having given more abundant honour to that part which lacked:
25 俾身無間、而百體相關焉、 That there should be no schism in the body; but that the members should have the same care one for another.
26 若一體苦、百體同苦、一體榮、百體同榮、 And whether one member suffer, all the members suffer with it; or one member be honoured, all the members rejoice with it.
27 爾曹乃基督之身、各自爲體、 Now ye are the body of Christ, and members in particular.
28 上帝立人於會、一使徒、二先知、三教師、繼以異能、醫術、輔佐者、治理者、言方言者、 And God hath set some in the church, first apostles, secondarily prophets, thirdly teachers, after that miracles, then gifts of healings, helps, governments, diversities of tongues.
29 衆皆使徒、先知、教師乎、 Are all apostles? are all prophets? are all teachers? are all workers of miracles?
30 皆有異能、醫術乎、抑皆言方言、譯方言乎、 Have all the gifts of healing? do all speak with tongues? do all interpret?
31 爾曹宜慕恩賜之大者、我且示爾以尤妙之道焉、 But covet earnestly the best gifts: and yet shew I unto you a more excellent way.
