| 2 | Ya estaba jijot y guipot y Judio sija, na mafanaan gupot tabetnaculo. | Now the Jews’ feast of tabernacles was at hand. |
| 3 | Y ma�elu�a sija pot este na rason ileg�ija nu g�iya: Falofan g�ine, ya unjanao para Judea, para y disipulumo sija locue ujalie y chechomo sija ni unfatitinas. | His brethren therefore said unto him, Depart hence, and go into Judea, that thy disciples also may see the works that thou doest. |
| 4 | Sa taya ni uno, mamatitinas jafa na g�inaja gui secreto, ya g�iyaja mismo ualigao na umatungo gui publico. Yaguin unfatitinas este sija na g�inaja, fanuejao gui tano. | For there is no man that doeth any thing in secret, and he himself seeketh to be known openly. If thou do these things, shew thyself to the world. |

| 6 | Ayo nae si Jesus ileg�a nu sija: Y tiempoco ti mafato trabia, lao y tiemponmiyo siempre esta listo. | Then Jesus said unto them, My time is not yet come: but your time is alway ready. |
| 7 | Y tano ti si�a manchinatlie jamyo; lao guajo jachatlie, sa mannae yo testimonio pot g�iya, na y checho�a manaelaye. | The world cannot hate you; but me it hateth, because I testify of it, that the works thereof are evil. |
| 8 | Jamyo infangajulo g�ine na gupot; guajo ti jucajulo g�ine na gupot; sa y tiempoco trabia ti macumple. | Go ye up unto this feast: I go not up yet unto this feast; for my time is not yet full come. |
| 9 | Ya anae munjayan jasangane estesija, sumaga trabia guiya Galilea. | When he had said these words unto them, he abode still in Galilee. |
| 10 | � Lao anae y ma�elu�a sija mangajulo; ayo nae g�iya locue cumajulo gui guipot; ti gui publico, lao calang gui secreto. | But when his brethren were gone up, then went he also up unto the feast, not openly, but as it were in secret. |
| 11 | Ayo nae y Judio sija maaliligao g�e gui guipot; ya ileg�ija: Manggue g�e? | Then the Jews sought him at the feast, and said, Where is he? |
| 12 | Ya guaja un dangculon gonggong entalo y linajyan taotao sija pot g�iya; sa guaja ileg�ija: G�iya mauleg na taotao; palo, ileg�ija: Aje, lao jadadague y taotao sija. | And there was much murmuring among the people concerning him: for some said, He is a good man: others said, Nay; but he deceiveth the people. |
| 13 | Lao ni uno umadingan gui publico pot g�iya, sa manmaa�ao ni Judio sija. | Howbeit no man spake openly of him for fear of the Jews. |
| 14 | � Anae y entalo y guipot, cajulo si Jesus gui templo ya mamanag�e. | Now about the midst of the feast Jesus went up into the temple, and taught. |
| 15 | Enao muna y Judio sija manamanman ya ileg�ija: Jafa muna jatungo este letra na ti umeeyag? | And the Jews marvelled, saying, How knoweth this man letters, having never learned? |
| 16 | Maninepe as Jesus ileg�a: Y finanag�eco, ti iyoco lao iyon ayo y tumago yo. | Jesus answered them, and said, My doctrine is not mine, but his that sent me. |
| 17 | Yaguin guaja y mumalago fumatitinas y minalago�a, g�iya utumungo y finanag�eco, cao g�iya iyon Yuus, pat jusangan estesija na g�inaja pot guajo namaesa. | If any man will do his will, he shall know of the doctrine, whether it be of God, or whether I speak of myself. |
| 18 | Y umadingan pot g�iyaja, ualiligao y minalag�a namaesa; lao y umaligao y minalag iyon ayo y tumago g�e, g�iya magajet ya taya tinaelaye gaegue guiya g�iya. | He that speaketh of himself seeketh his own glory: but he that seeketh his glory that sent him, the same is true, and no unrighteousness is in him. |
| 19 | Ti manninae jamyo as Moises y tinago sija, ya taya uno guiya jamyo cumumple ya tinago sija? Sajafa na inprocucura para inpino yo? | Did not Moses give you the law, and yet none of you keepeth the law? Why go ye about to kill me? |
| 20 | Y linajyan taotao manmanope: Anite guaja guiya jago! Jaye promucucuraja pumano jao? | The people answered and said, Thou hast a devil: who goeth about to kill thee? |
| 21 | Manope si Jesus ya ileg�a: Un chocho guajo fumatinas, ya todo jamyo ninafanmanman. | Jesus answered and said unto them, I have done one work, and ye all marvel. |
| 22 | Pot este si Moises manninae jamyo ni y circunsision (na ti guine as Moises lao iyon y tata sija), ya asta pago gui sabado incircunsida y taotao. | Moses therefore gave unto you circumcision; (not because it is of Moses, but of the fathers;) and ye on the sabbath day circumcise a man. |
| 23 | Yaguin y taotao resibe gui sabado y circunsision, para ti umapoca y tinagon Moises; manbubo jamyo nu guajo, sa junasenguefjomlo un taotao gui sabado na jaane? | If a man on the sabbath day receive circumcision, that the law of Moses should not be broken; are ye angry at me, because I have made a man every whit whole on the sabbath day? |
| 24 | Chamiyo injisga taemanoja y liniinmiyo, lao injisga taemanoja y cabales na juisio. | Judge not according to the appearance, but judge righteous judgment. |
| 25 | � Yleg�ija locue palo gui taotao Jerusalem: Ti g�iya este y manmaliligao para upuno. | Then said some of them of Jerusalem, Is not this he, whom they seek to kill? |
| 26 | Ya lie na umadingan jafa malago�a, ya taya sumangan jafa nu g�iya. Si�a na y magalaje sija jatungo magajet, na este si Cristo? | But, lo, he speaketh boldly, and they say nothing unto him. Do the rulers know indeed that this is the very Christ? |
| 27 | Lao jita tumungo este na taotao, guine mano g�e: ya anae mato si Jesucristo, taya uno tumungo taotao mano. | Howbeit we know this man whence he is: but when Christ cometh, no man knoweth whence he is. |
| 28 | Si Jesus entonses umagang gui. templo anae mamananag�e ileg�a: Jamyo intingo yo, jaye yo, yan intingo locue taotao mano yo; ya guajo mamaela ti pot guajoja: lao y tumago yo, g�iya magajet, ya jamyo ti intingo g�e. | Then cried Jesus in the temple as he taught, saying, Ye both know me, and ye know whence I am: and I am not come of myself, but he that sent me is true, whom ye know not. |
| 29 | Guajo tumungo g�e, sa guine g�iya yo, ya g�iya tumago yo! | But I know him: for I am from him, and he hath sent me. |
| 30 | Japrocura sija para macone g�e, lao taya uno mato canae�a guiya g�iya, sa y ora�a trabia ti mafato. | Then they sought to take him: but no man laid hands on him, because his hour was not yet come. |
| 31 | Ya megae gui linajyan taotao jumonggue g�e, ya ileg�ija: Ada yaguin si Cristo mamaela, ujafatinas mas megae na se�at qui y fumati�as este na taotao? | And many of the people believed on him, and said, When Christ cometh, will he do more miracles than these which this man hath done? |
| 32 | Y Fariseo sija jumungog na y linajyan taotao manafaesen pot estesija, ya y manmagas mamale yan y Fariseo sija manmanago ni ofisiat�ija para umacone. | The Pharisees heard that the people murmured such things concerning him; and the Pharisees and the chief priests sent officers to take him. |
| 33 | Enaomina si Jesus ileg�a: Trabia didide na tiempo gaegue yo guiya jamyo, ya despues bae falag ayo y tumago yo. | Then said Jesus unto them, Yet a little while am I with you, and then I go unto him that sent me. |
| 34 | Ynaligao yo, ya ti inseda yo; ya mano nae gaegue yo, jamyo ti si�a manmamaela. | Ye shall seek me, and shall not find me: and where I am, thither ye cannot come. |
| 35 | Entonses y Judio sija ileg�ija entre sijaja: Para mano este, para ti si�ajit tasoda g�e? Mapos buente para y manmachapon sija anae mangaegue sija gui entalo y Griego sija, ya mamnanag�e ni y Griego sija? | Then said the Jews among themselves, Whither will he go, that we shall not find him? will he go unto the dispersed among the Gentiles, and teach the Gentiles? |
| 36 | Jafa na sinangan na ayo y esta masangan: Inaligao yo ya ti inseda yo, ya mano nae gaegue yo, jamyo ti si�a manmamaela. | What manner of saying is this that he said, Ye shall seek me, and shall not find me: and where I am, thither ye cannot come? |
| 37 | � Y uttimo na jaane, dangculo na jaanin gupot, si Jesus tumojgue, ya umagang ileg�a: Yaguin y taotao guaja minajo umamaela guiya guajo, ya uguinem. | In the last day, that great day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried, saying, If any man thirst, let him come unto me, and drink. |
| 38 | Ya y jumonggueyo, taeg�ije y sinangan y Tinigue: y sanjalom�a manmimilalag y sadog janom na lal�l�. | He that believeth on me, as the scripture hath said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water. |
| 39 | Jasangan este na sinangan pot y Espiritu, ni para uresibe ayo sija y manmanjonggue guiya g�iya: sa trabia taya mananae ni Espiritu Santo, sa si Jesus ti rumesibe y minalag�a. | (But this spake he of the Spirit, which they that believe on him should receive: for the Holy Ghost was not yet given; because that Jesus was not yet glorified.) |
| 40 | Entonses palo gui linajyan taotao, manmanjungog nu este na sinangan, ileg�ija: Sumenmagajet na este g�iya y ayo na profeta. | Many of the people therefore, when they heard this saying, said, Of a truth this is the Prophet. |
| 41 | Y palo ileg�ija: Este g�iya si ayo na Cristo: Y palo despues ileg�ija: Jafa? guinin Galilea umamaela si Cristo? | Others said, This is the Christ. But some said, Shall Christ come out of Galilee? |
| 42 | Ti ileleg�a y Tinigue, na si Cristo mamaela gui semiyan David, yan guinin y sengsong iya Betlehem anae sumaga si David? | Hath not the scripture said, That Christ cometh of the seed of David, and out of the town of Bethlehem, where David was? |
| 43 | Ya guaja inaguguat gui entalo linajyan taotao pot g�iya. | So there was a division among the people because of him. |
| 44 | Ya guaja guiya sija y manmalago na ujacone, lao taya uno si�a minajalom canae�a guiya g�iya. | And some of them would have taken him; but no man laid hands on him. |
| 45 | � Ayonae y ofisiat sija manmalag y magas na mamale yan y Fariseo sija; ya ileg�ija nu sija: Sajafa muna ti inchile g�e mague? | Then came the officers to the chief priests and Pharisees; and they said unto them, Why have ye not brought him? |
| 46 | Y ofisiat sija manmanope: Taya na taotao umadingan taeg�ine. | The officers answered, Never man spake like this man. |
| 47 | Entonses y Fariseo sija maninepe: Jamyo locue manabag gui chalan? | Then answered them the Pharisees, Are ye also deceived? |
| 48 | Ada guaja palo y jumonggue g�e gui magalaje sija pat y Fariseo sija? | Have any of the rulers or of the Pharisees believed on him? |
| 49 | Este sija na linajyan taotao ni ti jatungo y tinago sija, manmatdito. | But this people who knoweth not the law are cursed. |
| 50 | Yleg�a nu sija si Nicodemo (ayo y mato gui as Jesus antes g�iya uno guiya sija), | Nicodemus saith unto them, (he that came to Jesus by night, being one of them,) |
| 51 | Manjujusga un taotao y iyota na tinago, yaguin y finenana ti majungog guiya g�iya ya matungo jafa y finatinas�a? | Doth our law judge any man, before it hear him, and know what he doeth? |
| 52 | Manmanope ya ileg�ija nu g�iya: Jago locue taotao Galilea? Aligao, ya unlie, cao guine Galilea taya nae cajulo profeta. | They answered and said unto him, Art thou also of Galilee? Search, and look: for out of Galilee ariseth no prophet. |
| 53 | Manalo guato cada uno gui guima�ija. | And every man went unto his own house. |
