1 LAO y finenana na jaane gui semana, gui taftataf gui egaan, manmato gui naftan, mapma�u�ule guato paopao ni y finamauleg�ija. Now upon the first day of the week, very early in the morning, they came unto the sepulchre, bringing the spices which they had prepared, and certain others with them.
2 Ya masoda y acho na esta managalileg gui pettan y naftan. And they found the stone rolled away from the sepulchre.
3 Ya anae manjalom ti masoda y tataotao y Se�ot Jesus. And they entered in, and found not the body of the Lord Jesus.
4 Ya anae manmajngang nu este, dos taotao tumotojgue gui oriyan�ija, na minagagago ni y lamlam na magago. And it came to pass, as they were much perplexed thereabout, behold, two men stood by them in shining garments:
5 Ya anae ninafanmaa�ao ya manecon papa gui eda, ileg�ija nu sija: Jafa muna inaliligao y l�l� gui entalo y manmatae? And as they were afraid, and bowed down their faces to the earth, they said unto them, Why seek ye the living among the dead?
6 Taeg�e g�ine, lao esta cajulo: jaso y mansinangane jamyo, anae estataba Galilea, He is not here, but is risen: remember how he spake unto you when he was yet in Galilee,
7 Yleg�a: Na nesesita na y Lajin taotao umaentrega gui canae y taotao sija ni manisao, y umaatane gui quiluus, ya ucajulo talo gui mina tres na jaane. Saying, The Son of man must be delivered into the hands of sinful men, and be crucified, and the third day rise again.
8 Ayonae jajaso sija y sinangan�a, And they remembered his words,
9 Ya manalo guato gui naftan ya jasangane y onse nu este sija, yan todo y pumalo. And returned from the sepulchre, and told all these things unto the eleven, and to all the rest.
10 Ya sija si Maria Magdalena yan si Juana, yan si Maria nanan Santiago; yan y pumalo palaoan ni mangachong�ija, sumangane y apostoles nu estesija. It was Mary Magdalene, and Joanna, and Mary the mother of James, and other women that were with them, which told these things unto the apostles.
11 Lao sija japolo na taetiningo, y sinangan�ija ya ti majonggue. And their words seemed to them as idle tales, and they believed them not.
12 � Ayonae cajulo si Pedro, ya malago asta y naftan: ya anae �umejon ya jaatan jalom, jalilie y sabanasja gui un lugat, ya mapos g�e iyasija ya ninamanman nu este y manmalofan. Then arose Peter, and ran unto the sepulchre; and stooping down, he beheld the linen clothes laid by themselves, and departed, wondering in himself at that which was come to pass.
13 � Ya, estag�e, dos guiya sija na jumajanao, g�ijeja na jaane, para un songsong ni naan�a Emmaus, sesenta estadios desde Jerusalem. And, behold, two of them went that same day to a village called Emmaus, which was from Jerusalem about threescore furlongs.
14 Ya cumuecuentos y dos mona pot todo estesija y masusede. And they talked together of all these things which had happened.
15 Ya susede anae cumuecuentos y dos, ya manafaesen entre sija, mato si Jesus ya ma�isija manjanao. And it came to pass, that, while they communed together and reasoned, Jesus himself drew near, and went with them.
16 Lao y atadog�ija calang manmatampe, para cha�ija tumutungo g�e. But their eyes were holden that they should not know him.
17 Ya ileg�a nu sija: Jafa na cuentosmimiyo uno yan otro, anae manajanao jamyo, ya ma�aga ya ninafantriste? And he said unto them, What manner of communications are these that ye have one to another, as ye walk, and are sad?
18 Inepe ni ayo y uno ni y naan�a si Cleofas ya ileg�a nu g�iya: Ada sumagaja jao guiya Jerusalem, ya ti untungo jafa manmalofan g�ine sija na jaane? And the one of them, whose name was Cleopas, answering said unto him, Art thou only a stranger in Jerusalem, and hast not known the things which are come to pass there in these days?
19 Ayonae ileg�a nu sija: Jafa sija? Ya ileg�ija nu g�iya: Ayo sija iyon si Jesus Nasareno, ni profeta g�e ni gaeninasi�a gui checho yan y sinangan gui menan Yuus yan todo y taotao sija; And he said unto them, What things? And they said unto him, Concerning Jesus of Nazareth, which was a prophet mighty in deed and word before God and all the people:
20 Ya maentrega, gui magas mamale yan y magalajenmame para umasentensia ni y finatae, ya maatane gui quiluus. And how the chief priests and our rulers delivered him to be condemned to death, and have crucified him.
21 Lao jame innanangga sa g�iya y para unafanlibre y Israel. Junggan, yan mas qui todo este, pago esta mina tres na jaane desde que masusede estesija. But we trusted that it had been he which should have redeemed Israel: and beside all this, to day is the third day since these things were done.
22 Yan locue palo famalaoan ni mangachongmame janamanman jam sa manmato gui naftan gui taftataf gui egaan; Yea, and certain women also of our company made us astonished, which were early at the sepulchre;
23 Ya anae ti masoda y tataotao�a, manmato guiya jame ileg�ija na manmanlie sija y liniin angjet sija, ni y jasnangane na l�l�g�e. And when they found not his body, they came, saying, that they had also seen a vision of angels, which said that he was alive.
24 Ya mamjanao guato gui naftan palo gui mangachongmame ya masoda taemanoja y sinangan y famalaoan; lao ti malie g�e. And certain of them which were with us went to the sepulchre, and found it even so as the women had said: but him they saw not.
25 Ya ileg�a nu sija: O taotao manaetiningo jamyo, yan y �ateng y corasonmiyo para injenggue todo y sinangan y profeta sija! Then he said unto them, O fools, and slow of heart to believe all that the prophets have spoken:
26 Ada ti nesesita na si Cristo ufamadese nu este sija ya taeg�ine nae ujalom gui minalag�a? Ought not Christ to have suffered these things, and to enter into his glory?
27 Ya jatutujon desde as Moises, yan y profeta sija, y jasangangane claro todo ni tinigue ni y pot g�iya. And beginning at Moses and all the prophets, he expounded unto them in all the scriptures the things concerning himself.
28 Ya manmato gui sengsong ni jajananag�e g�ije; ya jasigue para mas chago jinanao�a. And they drew nigh unto the village, whither they went: and he made as though he would have gone further.
29 Lao sija janasaga fuetsao, ileg�ija: Maela tafa�aga sa este puenge ya jocog y jaane; ya jumalom para usaga ma�isija. But they constrained him, saying, Abide with us: for it is toward evening, and the day is far spent. And he went in to tarry with them.
30 Ya susede, anae matachong gui lamasa yan sija, jachule y pan ya jabendise, ya jaipe ya manninae. And it came to pass, as he sat at meat with them, he took bread, and blessed it, and brake, and gave to them.
31 Ayonae manmababa atadog�ija ya matungo g�e; lao g�iya jamalingoja gui inatan�ija. And their eyes were opened, and they knew him; and he vanished out of their sight.
32 Ya ileg�ija entre y dos: Ada ti sinenggue y corasonta gui sumanjalomta mientras jacuentutusejit gui chalan, yan anae jababayejit ni y tinigue? And they said one to another, Did not our heart burn within us, while he talked with us by the way, and while he opened to us the scriptures?
33 Ya cumajulo y dos g�ije na ora, ya tumalo guato Jerusalem: ya masoda y onse mandada�a, yan y manestaba mangachong�i�ija, And they rose up the same hour, and returned to Jerusalem, and found the eleven gathered together, and them that were with them,
34 Ya ileleg�ija: Magajet, esta cajulo y Se�ot, na umalie yan si Simon. Saying, The Lord is risen indeed, and hath appeared to Simon.
35 Ayonae sija jasangane nu este sija y masusede gui chalan; yan jafa taemano, tungo�ija anae jaipe y pan. And they told what things were done in the way, and how he was known of them in breaking of bread.
36 � Ya mientras manguecuentos nu este sija, g�iya tumojgueja gui entalo�ija, y ileg�a nu sija: Pas guiya jamyo. And as they thus spake, Jesus himself stood in the midst of them, and saith unto them, Peace be unto you.
37 Ayonae manmaa�ao ya manmajngang ya jinason�ija na manmanlie sija un espiritu. But they were terrified and affrighted, and supposed that they had seen a spirit.
38 Lao g�iya ileg�a nu sija: Jafa na ninafanestotba jamyo? Ya jafa na cumajulo y jinasonmiyo gui corasonmiyo? And he said unto them, Why are ye troubled? and why do thoughts arise in your hearts?
39 Atanja y canaejo yan y adengjo, sa guajo mismoyo: pacha yan inlie sa y espiritu taecatne ni tolang, taeg�ije inliija na guajayo, Behold my hands and my feet, that it is I myself: handle me, and see; for a spirit hath not flesh and bones, as ye see me have.
40 Ya anae jasangan este, manfinanue ni y canae�a yan y adeng�a. And when he had thus spoken, he shewed them his hands and his feet.
41 Ya anae ti jajonggue sija pot minagof�ija, ya ninafanmanman, g�iya ileg�a nu sija: Guaja g�ine jafa para utacano? And while they yet believed not for joy, and wondered, he said unto them, Have ye here any meat?
42 Ya sija janae un pedason g�ijan na mapeja. And they gave him a piece of a broiled fish, and of an honeycomb.
43 Ya jachule ya jacano gui menan�ija. And he took it, and did eat before them.
44 � Ya ileg�a nu sija: Este sija na sinangan ni y jusangangane jamyo anae manjijita: taemanoja na nesesita na umacumple todo y esta matugue gui lay Moises yan y profeta sija, yan y Salmos pot guajo. And he said unto them, These are the words which I spake unto you, while I was yet with you, that all things must be fulfilled, which were written in the law of Moses, and in the prophets, and in the psalms, concerning me.
45 Ayonae manbinaba y jinaso�ija para ujatungo y tinigue; Then opened he their understanding, that they might understand the scriptures,
46 Ya ileg�a nu sija: Taeg�ine esta matugue, na si Cristo ufamadese ya ucajulo talo guinin y manmatae gui mina tres na jaane; And said unto them, Thus it is written, and thus it behoved Christ to suffer, and to rise from the dead the third day:
47 Ya umapredica gui naan�a y sinetsot yan inasiin isao, gui todo y nasion sija, umatutujon desde Jerusalem. And that repentance and remission of sins should be preached in his name among all nations, beginning at Jerusalem.
48 Ya jamyo testigo nu estesija na g�inaja. And ye are witnesses of these things.
49 Ya, estag�e, na bae jutago y promesan y Tatajo gui jilo miyo: lao jamyo fa�aga gui siuda guiya Jerusalem, asta que manminagago jamyo ni y ninasi�a guinin iya jululo. And, behold, I send the promise of my Father upon you: but tarry ye in the city of Jerusalem, until ye be endued with power from on high.
50 � Ya manquinene juyong asta Betania; ya jajatsa y canae�a ya manbinendise sija. And he led them out as far as to Bethany, and he lifted up his hands, and blessed them.
51 Ya susede anae manbinendise, jaapatte g�e guiya sija ya machule julo gui Langet. And it came to pass, while he blessed them, he was parted from them, and carried up into heaven.
52 Ya sija jaadora ya manalo guato Jerusalem yan y dangculon minagof�ija; And they worshipped him, and returned to Jerusalem with great joy:
53 Ya mangaegue siempre gui templo, manmanbendidise as Yuus. Amen. And were continually in the temple, praising and blessing God. Amen.
