절	Contemporary English Version (2006)	King James Version
1	(For the music leader. Use with stringed instruments. A special psalm that David wrote when the people of Ziph went to Saul and said, “David is hiding here with us.”) / Trusting God in Times of Troubl Save me, God, by your power and prove that I am right.	Save me, O God, by thy name, and judge me by thy strength.
2	Listen to my prayer and hear what I say.	Hear my prayer, O God; give ear to the words of my mouth.
3	Cruel strangers have attacked and want me dead. Not one of them cares about you.	For strangers are risen up against me, and oppressors seek after my soul: they have not set God before them. Selah.
4	You will help me, Lord God, and keep me from falling;	Behold, God is mine helper: the Lord is with them that uphold my soul.
5	you will punish my enemies for their evil deeds. Be my faithful friend and destroy them.	He shall reward evil unto mine enemies: cut them off in thy truth.
6	I will bring a gift and offer a sacrifice to you, Lord. I will praise your name because you are good.	I will freely sacrifice unto thee: I will praise thy name, O Lord; for it is good.
7	You have rescued me from all my troubles, and my own eyes have seen my enemies fall.	For he hath delivered me out of all trouble: and mine eye hath seen his desire upon mine enemies.
