절	Contemporary English Version (2006)	King James Version
(A psalm by David for the music leader.) / A Prayer for Victory I pray that the Lord will listen when you are in trouble, and that the God of Jacob will keep you safe.	The Lord hear thee in the day of trouble; the name of the God of Jacob defend thee;
May the Lord send help from his temple and come to your rescue from Mount Zion.	Send thee help from the sanctuary, and strengthen thee out of Zion;
May he remember your gifts and be pleased with what you bring.	Remember all thy offerings, and accept thy burnt sacrifice; Selah.
May God do what you want most and let all go well for you.	Grant thee according to thine own heart, and fulfil all thy counsel.
Then you will win victories, and we will celebrate, while raising our banners in the name of our God. May the Lord answer all your prayers!	We will rejoice in thy salvation, and in the name of our God we will set up our banners: the Lord fulfil all thy petitions.
I am certain, Lord, that you will help your chosen king. You will answer my prayers from your holy place in heaven, and you will save me with your mighty arm.	Now know I that the Lord saveth his anointed; he will hear him from his holy heaven with the saving strength of his right hand.
Some people trust the power of chariots or horses, but we trust you, Lord God.	Some trust in chariots, and some in horses: but we will remember the name of the Lord our God.
Others will stumble and fall, but we will be strong and stand firm.	They are brought down and fallen: but we are risen, and stand upright.
Give the king victory, Lord, and answer our prayers.	Save, Lord: let the king hear us when we call.
