| 2 | Předejděme oblíčej jeho s díkčiněním, žalmy prozpěvujme jemu. | Let us come before his presence with thanksgiving, and make a joyful noise unto him with psalms. |
| 3 | Nebo Hospodin jest Bůh veliký, a král veliký nade všecky bohy, | For the Lord is a great God, and a great King above all gods. |
| 4 | V jehož rukou základové země, a vrchové hor jeho jsou. | In his hand are the deep places of the earth: the strength of the hills is his also. |
| 5 | Jehož jest i moře, nebo on je učinil, i země, kterouž ruce jeho sformovaly. | The sea is his, and he made it: and his hands formed the dry land. |
| 6 | Poďte, sklánějme se, a padněme před ním, klekejme před Hospodinem stvořitelem naším. | O come, let us worship and bow down: let us kneel before the Lord our maker. |
| 7 | Onť jest zajisté Bůh náš, a my jsme lid pastvy jeho, a stádo rukou jeho. Dnes uslyšíte-li hlas jeho, | For he is our God; and we are the people of his pasture, and the sheep of his hand. To day if ye will hear his voice, |
| 8 | Nezatvrzujte srdce svého, jako při popuzení, a v den pokušení na poušti, | Harden not your heart, as in the provocation, and as in the day of temptation in the wilderness: |
| 9 | Kdežto pokoušeli mne otcové vaši, zkusiliť jsou mne, a viděli skutky mé. | When your fathers tempted me, proved me, and saw my work. |
| 10 | Za čtyřidceti let měl jsem nesnáz s národem tím, a řekl jsem: Lid tento bloudí srdcem, a nepoznali cest mých. | Forty years long was I grieved with this generation, and said, It is a people that do err in their heart, and they have not known my ways: |
| 11 | Jimž jsem přisáhl v hněvě svém, že nevejdou v odpočinutí mé. | Unto whom I sware in my wrath that they should not enter into my rest. |
