| 1 | Přednímu kantoru z synů Chóre, píseň na alamot. Bůh jest naše útočiště i síla, ve všelikém ssoužení pomoc vždycky hotová. | God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. |
| 2 | A protož nebudeme se báti, byť se pak i země podvrátila, a zpřevracely se hory do prostřed moře. | Therefore will not we fear, though the earth be removed, and though the mountains be carried into the midst of the sea; |
| 3 | Byť i ječely, a kormoutily se vody jeho, a hory se rozrážely od dutí jeho. Sélah. | Though the waters thereof roar and be troubled, though the mountains shake with the swelling thereof. Selah. |
| 4 | Potok a pramenové jeho obveselují město Boží, nejsvětější z příbytků Nejvyššího. | There is a river, the streams whereof shall make glad the city of God, the holy place of the tabernacles of the most High. |
| 5 | Bůh jest u prostřed něho, nepohneť se; přispějeť jemu Bůh na pomoc hned v jitře. | God is in the midst of her; she shall not be moved: God shall help her, and that right early. |

| 9 | Přítrž činí bojům až do končin země, lučiště láme, kopí posekává, a vozy spaluje ohněm, | He maketh wars to cease unto the end of the earth; he breaketh the bow, and cutteth the spear in sunder; he burneth the chariot in the fire. |
| 10 | Mluvě: Upokojtež se, a vězte, žeť jsem já Bůh, kterýž vyvýšen budu mezi národy, vyvýšen budu na zemi. | Be still, and know that I am God: I will be exalted among the heathen, I will be exalted in the earth. |
