| 2 | Pane, vyslyš hlas můj, nakloň uší svých k hlasu pokorných proseb mých. | Lord, hear my voice: let thine ears be attentive to the voice of my supplications. |
| 3 | Budeš-li nepravosti šetřiti, Hospodine Pane, kdo ostojí? | If thou, Lord, shouldest mark iniquities, O Lord, who shall stand? |
| 4 | Ale u tebe jest odpuštění, tak aby uctivost k tobě zachována byla. | But there is forgiveness with thee, that thou mayest be feared. |
| 5 | Očekávám na Hospodina, očekává duše má, a ještě očekává na slovo jeho. | I wait for the Lord, my soul doth wait, and in his word do I hope. |
| 6 | Duše má čeká Pána, víc než ponocní svitání, kteříž ponocují až do jitra. | My soul waiteth for the Lord more than they that watch for the morning: I say, more than they that watch for the morning. |
