| 2 | Veliceť jsou mne ssužovali hned od mladosti mé, a však mne nepřemohli. | Many a time have they afflicted me from my youth: yet they have not prevailed against me. |
| 3 | Po hřbetě mém orali oráči, a dlouhé proháněli brázdy své. | The plowers plowed upon my back: they made long their furrows. |
| 4 | Ale Hospodin jsa spravedlivý, zpřetínal prostranky bezbožných. | The Lord is righteous: he hath cut asunder the cords of the wicked. |
| 5 | Zahanbeni a zpět obráceni budou všickni, kteříž nenávidí Siona. | Let them all be confounded and turned back that hate Zion. |
