1	Gottes Wohnung in der Mitte seines Volks / Mose stellt die Wohnung Gottes auf Der Herr sagte zu Mose:	And the Lord spake unto Moses, saying,
2	»Am ersten Tag des ersten Monats sollst du das Zelt der Begegnung aufstellen. Es ist die Wohnung für Gott.	On the first day of the first month shalt thou set up the tabernacle of the tent of the congregation.
3	Stell die Lade mit den Geboten in das Zelt und häng den Vorhang vor die Lade.	And thou shalt put therein the ark of the testimony, and cover the ark with the vail.
4	Bring den Tisch hinein und richte her, was auf ihn gelegt wird. Bring den Leuchter hinein und setz die Öllampen darauf.	And thou shalt bring in the table, and set in order the things that are to be set in order upon it; and thou shalt bring in the candlestick, and light the lamps thereof.
5	Stell den goldenen Räucheraltar vor die Lade mit den Geboten. Häng im Eingang der Wohnung den Vorhang auf.	And thou shalt set the altar of gold for the incense before the ark of the testimony, and put the hanging of the door to the tabernacle.
6	Stell den Brandopferaltar vor den Eingang der Wohnung, vor das Zelt der Begegnung.	And thou shalt set the altar of the burnt offering before the door of the tabernacle of the tent of the congregation.
7	Zwischen dem Zelt der Begegnung und dem Altar stell das Becken auf und füll Wasser hinein.	And thou shalt set the laver between the tent of the congregation and the altar, and shalt put water therein.
8	Errichte um die Wohnung den Vorhof und häng im Eingang des Vorhofs den Vorhang auf.	And thou shalt set up the court round about, and hang up the hanging at the court gate.
9	Nimm das Salböl und bestreich damit die Wohnung und alles, was darin ist. So wird sie mit all ihren Geräten heilig werden.	And thou shalt take the anointing oil, and anoint the tabernacle, and all that is therein, and shalt hallow it, and all the vessels thereof: and it shall be holy.
10	Bestreich den Brandopferaltar und alle seine Geräte. So wird der Altar heilig werden. Er ist besonders heilig.	And thou shalt anoint the altar of the burnt offering, and all his vessels, and sanctify the altar: and it shall be an altar most holy.
11	Bestreich das Becken und sein Gestell und mach es heilig.	And thou shalt anoint the laver and his foot, and sanctify it.
12	Dann lass Aaron und seine Söhne an den Eingang des Zeltes der Begegnung treten. Wasch sie dort mit Wasser.	And thou shalt bring Aaron and his sons unto the door of the tabernacle of the congregation, and wash them with water.
13	Bekleide Aaron mit den heiligen Gewändern, salbe ihn und mach ihn zu meinem Priester.	And thou shalt put upon Aaron the holy garments, and anoint him, and sanctify him; that he may minister unto me in the priest’s office.
14	Auch seine Söhne lass herantreten. Bekleide sie mit den Untergewändern	And thou shalt bring his sons, and clothe them with coats:
15	und salbe sie zu Priestern, wie du ihren Vater gesalbt hast. Durch diese Salbung werden sie für immer meine Priester – von Generation zu Generation.«	And thou shalt anoint them, as thou didst anoint their father, that they may minister unto me in the priest’s office: for their anointing shall surely be an everlasting priesthood throughout their generations.
16	Mose machte alles so, wie der Herr es ihm geboten hatte.	Thus did Moses: according to all that the Lord commanded him, so did he.
17	Am ersten Tag des ersten Monats im zweiten Jahr wurde die Wohnung aufgestellt.	And it came to pass in the first month in the second year, on the first day of the month, that the tabernacle was reared up.
18	Und so stellte Mose die Wohnung auf: Er setzte ihre Sockel, richtete ihre Bretter auf, brachte die Querbalken an und stellte die Pfosten auf.	And Moses reared up the tabernacle, and fastened his sockets, and set up the boards thereof, and put in the bars thereof, and reared up his pillars.
19	Er spannte das Zelt über die Wohnung und breitete die Überdecke oben über das Zelt. So hatte der Herr es ihm geboten.	And he spread abroad the tent over the tabernacle, and put the covering of the tent above upon it; as the Lord commanded Moses.
20	Er nahm die Tafeln mit den Geboten und legte sie in die Lade. Er steckte die Tragestangen an die Lade und stellte die Platte oben über die Lade.	And he took and put the testimony into the ark, and set the staves on the ark, and put the mercy seat above upon the ark:
21	Er brachte die Lade in die Wohnung. Er hängte den Vorhang auf und verbarg damit die Lade mit den Geboten. So hatte der Herr es ihm geboten.	And he brought the ark into the tabernacle, and set up the vail of the covering, and covered the ark of the testimony; as the Lord commanded Moses.
22	Er stellte den Tisch in das Zelt der Begegnung, an die Nordseite der Wohnung, vor den Vorhang.	And he put the table in the tent of the congregation, upon the side of the tabernacle northward, without the vail.
23	Er schichtete darauf vor dem Herrn die Schaubrote auf, wie der Herr es ihm geboten hatte.	And he set the bread in order upon it before the Lord; as the Lord had commanded Moses.
24	Er stellte den Leuchter in das Zelt der Begegnung, an die Südseite der Wohnung, dem Tisch gegenüber.	And he put the candlestick in the tent of the congregation, over against the table, on the side of the tabernacle southward.
25	Er setzte vor dem Herrn die Öllampen darauf, wie der Herr es ihm geboten hatte.	And he lighted the lamps before the Lord; as the Lord commanded Moses.
26	Er stellte den goldenen Altar vor den Vorhang im Zelt der Begegnung.	And he put the golden altar in the tent of the congregation before the vail:
27	Auf ihm verbrannte er duftendes Räucherwerk, wie der Herr es ihm geboten hatte.	And he burnt sweet incense thereon; as the Lord commanded Moses.
28	Er hängte den Vorhang auf im Eingang der Wohnung.	And he set up the hanging at the door of the tabernacle.
29	Den Brandopferaltar stellte er vor den Eingang der Wohnung und das Zelt der Begegnung. Auf ihm brachte er das Brand- und das Speiseopfer dar, wie der Herr es ihm geboten hatte.	And he put the altar of burnt offering by the door of the tabernacle of the tent of the congregation, and offered upon it the burnt offering and the meat offering; as the Lord commanded Moses.
30	Zwischen das Zelt der Begegnung und den Altar stellte er das Wasserbecken. Er füllte es mit Wasser,	And he set the laver between the tent of the congregation and the altar, and put water there, to wash withal.
31	damit Mose, Aaron und dessen Söhne sich waschen konnten. Sie wuschen sich darin Hände und Füße,	And Moses and Aaron and his sons washed their hands and their feet thereat:
32	bevor sie in das Zelt der Begegnung eintraten – oder sich dem Altar näherten. So hatte der Herr es Mose geboten.	When they went into the tent of the congregation, and when they came near unto the altar, they washed; as the Lord commanded Moses.
33	Rings um die Wohnung und den Altar errichtete er den Vorhof. In dessen Eingang hängte er den Vorhang auf. So vollendete Mose das ganze Werk.	And he reared up the court round about the tabernacle and the altar, and set up the hanging of the court gate. So Moses finished the work.
34	Die Herrlichkeit des erfüllt die Wohnung Dann bedeckte die Wolke das Zelt der Begegnung, und die Herrlichkeit des Herrn erfüllte die Wohnung.	Then a cloud covered the tent of the congregation, and the glory of the Lord filled the tabernacle.
35	Mose konnte nicht ins Zelt der Begegnung hineingehen. Denn die Wolke lag darüber, und die Herrlichkeit des Herrn erfüllte die Wohnung.	And Moses was not able to enter into the tent of the congregation, because the cloud abode thereon, and the glory of the Lord filled the tabernacle.
36	Die Wolke weist den Israeliten den Weg Immer wenn die Wolke sich von der Wohnung erhob, brachen die Israeliten auf. So war es, solange die Israeliten umherzogen.	And when the cloud was taken up from over the tabernacle, the children of Israel went onward in all their journeys:
37	Wenn die Wolke sich nicht erhob, wanderten sie nicht weiter. Dann warteten sie, bis sie sich wieder erhob.	But if the cloud were not taken up, then they journeyed not till the day that it was taken up.
38	Bei Tag lag die Wolke des Herrn über der Wohnung, und nachts leuchtete Feuer aus der Wolke. Solange die Israeliten umherzogen, hatten sie immer die Wolke vor Augen.	For the cloud of the Lord was upon the tabernacle by day, and fire was on it by night, in the sight of all the house of Israel, throughout all their journeys.
