1	Der Stamm Benjamin / Die Nachkommen von Benjamin Benjamin war der Vater von Bela. Der war sein erstgeborener Sohn. Der zweite war Aschbel, Achrach der dritte,	Now Benjamin begat Bela his firstborn, Ashbel the second, and Aharah the third,
2	Noha der vierte und Rafa der fünfte Sohn.	Nohah the fourth, and Rapha the fifth.
3	Bela hatte außerdem die Söhne Ard, Gera, Abihud,	And the sons of Bela were, Addar, and Gera, and Abihud,
4	Abischua, Naaman, Ahoach,	And Abishua, and Naaman, and Ahoah,
5	Gera, Schefufan und Huram.	And Gera, and Shephuphan, and Huram.
6	Das sind die Söhne des Ehud. Sie waren Familienoberhäupter bei den Bewohnern von Geba. Von dort wurden sie nach Manahat verschleppt.	And these are the sons of Ehud: these are the heads of the fathers of the inhabitants of Geba, and they removed them to Manahath:

9	Jetzt war Hodesch seine Frau. Mit ihr bekam er die Söhne Jobab, Zibja, Mescha, Malkam,	And he begat of Hodesh his wife, Jobab, and Zibia, and Mesha, and Malcham,
10	Jeuz, Sacheja und Mirma. Das sind seine Söhne, die Familienoberhäupter wurden.	And Jeuz, and Shachia, and Mirma. These were his sons, heads of the fathers.
11	Von Huschim hatte er früher schon Söhne bekommen: Abitub und Elpaal.	And of Hushim he begat Abitub, and Elpaal.
12	Die Söhne von Elpaal waren Eber, Mischam und Schemed. Schemed erbaute Ono und Lod mit den umliegenden Dörfern.	The sons of Elpaal; Eber, and Misham, and Shamed, who built Ono, and Lod, with the towns thereof:
13	Beria und Schema waren Familienoberhäupter bei den Bewohnern von Ajalon. Sie verjagten die Bewohner von Gat.	Beriah also, and Shema, who were heads of the fathers of the inhabitants of Aijalon, who drove away the inhabitants of Gath:

32	Miklot war der Vater von Schima. Einige von ihnen wohnten aber zusammen mit ihren Verwandten in Jerusalem.	And Mikloth begat Shimeah. And these also dwelt with their brethren in Jerusalem, over against them.
33	Ner war der Vater von Kisch und Großvater von Saul. Saul war der Vater von Jonatan, Malkischua, Abinadab und Eschbaal.	And Ner begat Kish, and Kish begat Saul, and Saul begat Jonathan, and Malchi–shua, and Abinadab, and Esh–baal.
34	Der Sohn des Jonatan war Merib-Baal. Merib-Baal war der Vater von Micha.	And the son of Jonathan was Merib–baal; and Merib–baal begat Micah.
35	Die Söhne des Micha waren: Piton, Melech, Tachrea und Ahas.	And the sons of Micah were, Pithon, and Melech, and Tarea, and Ahaz.
36	Ahas war der Vater von Joadda. Joadda war der Vater von Alemet, Asmawet und Simri. Simri war Vater von Moza,	And Ahaz begat Jehoadah; and Jehoadah begat Alemeth, and Azmaveth, and Zimri; and Zimri begat Moza,
37	Großvater von Bina und Urgroßvater von Rafa. Rafa war Vater von Elasa und Großvater von Azel.	And Moza begat Binea: Rapha was his son, Eleasah his son, Azel his son:
38	Azel hatte sechs Söhne. Sie hießen Asrikam, Bochru, Jischmael, Schearja, Obadja und Hanan. Das sind die Nachkommen von Azel.	And Azel had six sons, whose names are these, Azrikam, Bocheru, and Ishmael, and Sheariah, and Obadiah, and Hanan. All these were the sons of Azel.
39	Sein Bruder war Eschek. Ulam war der erstgeborene Sohn von Eschek, Jeusch war der zweite und Elifelet der dritte.	And the sons of Eshek his brother were, Ulam his firstborn, Jehush the second, and Eliphelet the third.
40	Die Nachkommen von Ulam waren mächtige Männer, tüchtige Krieger und Bogenschützen. Sie hatten viele Söhne und Enkel, insgesamt 150 Mann. Sie alle gehörten zu den Nachkommen von Benjamin.	And the sons of Ulam were mighty men of valour, archers, and had many sons, and sons’ sons, an hundred and fifty. All these are of the sons of Benjamin.
