1	In die Freiheit geführt FÜR DEN CHORLEITER. EIN LIED, EIN PSALM. Jubelt Gott zu, alle Länder!	Make a joyful noise unto God, all ye lands:
2	Singt von der Herrlichkeit seines Namens! Stimmt an den Lobgesang auf seine Herrlichkeit!	Sing forth the honour of his name: make his praise glorious.
3	Sagt zu Gott: »Wie gewaltig sind deine Werke. Wie groß und mächtig bist du doch, auch deine Feinde schmeicheln dir!«	Say unto God, How terrible art thou in thy works! through the greatness of thy power shall thine enemies submit themselves unto thee.
4	Alle Länder sollen dich anbeten und dich preisen, sie sollen deinen Namen preisen. – Sela.	All the earth shall worship thee, and shall sing unto thee; they shall sing to thy name. Selah.
5	Kommt und schaut die Taten Gottes! Was er für die Menschen tut, ist gewaltig:	Come and see the works of God: he is terrible in his doing toward the children of men.
6	Er verwandelte das Meer in trockenes Land, zu Fuß zogen sie sicher durch den Strom. Dort am Ufer wollen wir uns über den freuen,	He turned the sea into dry land: they went through the flood on foot: there did we rejoice in him.
7	der für immer herrscht in seiner Macht. Er behält die Völker im Auge. Kein Aufrührer darf sich gegen ihn erheben. Sela.	He ruleth by his power for ever; his eyes behold the nations: let not the rebellious exalt themselves. Selah.
8	Ihr Völker, preist unseren Gott! Lasst sein Lob laut erschallen!	O bless our God, ye people, and make the voice of his praise to be heard:
9	Er ist es, der uns am Leben erhält und unseren Fuß nicht straucheln lässt.	Which holdeth our soul in life, and suffereth not our feet to be moved.
10	Ja, du hast uns auf die Probe gestellt, Gott. Du hast uns durch Schmelzen geprüft, wie bei Metall der Silbergehalt geprüft wird.	For thou, O God, hast proved us: thou hast tried us, as silver is tried.
11	Du hast uns ins Netz gehen lassen und uns Angst in die Glieder gejagt.	Thou broughtest us into the net; thou laidst affliction upon our loins.
12	Krieger ritten über unsere Köpfe hinweg. Durch Feuer und Wasser sind wir gegangen. Doch du hast uns in die Freiheit geführt.	Thou hast caused men to ride over our heads; we went through fire and through water: but thou broughtest us out into a wealthy place.
13	Mit Brandopfern komme ich in dein Haus, ich will dir meine Gelübde erfüllen.	I will go into thy house with burnt offerings: I will pay thee my vows,
14	Meine Lippen haben sie dir versprochen, in der Not hat mein Mund sie ausgesprochen.	Which my lips have uttered, and my mouth hath spoken, when I was in trouble.
15	Dir bringe ich Brandopfer von fetten Schafen, zusammen mit dem Opferduft von Widdern. Rinder will ich für das Opfer vorbereiten und Ziegenböcke dazu. Sela.	I will offer unto thee burnt sacrifices of fatlings, with the incense of rams; I will offer bullocks with goats. Selah.
16	Kommt und hört, was ich euch erzählen will! Alle, die ihr Gott mit Ehrfurcht begegnet: Hört zu, was er für mein Leben getan hat!	Come and hear, all ye that fear God, and I will declare what he hath done for my soul.
17	Während mein Mund noch um Hilfe rief, lag schon der Lobgesang auf meiner Zunge.	I cried unto him with my mouth, and he was extolled with my tongue.
18	Hätte ich etwas Unrechtes im Sinn gehabt, dann hätte mein Herr mich nicht gehört.	If I regard iniquity in my heart, the Lord will not hear me:
19	Aber Gott hat mich gehört, auf mein lautes Flehen hat er geachtet.	But verily God hath heard me; he hath attended to the voice of my prayer.
20	Gepriesen sei Gott! Er hat mein Gebet nicht abgewiesen und seine Güte nicht von mir genommen.	Blessed be God, which hath not turned away my prayer, nor his mercy from me.
