1	Himmel und Erde loben Gott Halleluja. Vom Himmel her – lobt den Herrn: Lobt ihn in himmlischen Höhen!	Praise ye the Lord. Praise ye the Lord from the heavens: praise him in the heights.
2	Lobt ihn, alle seine Engel! Lobt ihn, alle seine Heere!	Praise ye him, all his angels: praise ye him, all his hosts.
3	Lobt ihn, Sonne und Mond! Lobt ihn, alle funkelnden Sterne!	Praise ye him, sun and moon: praise him, all ye stars of light.
4	Lobt ihn, ihr weiten Himmel und ihr Ozeane über dem Himmel.	Praise him, ye heavens of heavens, and ye waters that be above the heavens.
5	Sie alle sollen den Namen des Herrn loben. Denn sein Befehl rief sie ins Dasein.	Let them praise the name of the Lord: for he commanded, and they were created.
6	Er stellte sie für immer an ihren Platz. Er gab den Gestirnen eine feste Ordnung, ihre vorbestimmte Bahn verlassen sie nicht.	He hath also stablished them for ever and ever: he hath made a decree which shall not pass.
7	Von der Erde her – lobt den Herrn: ihr Seeungeheuer und Meeresfluten,	Praise the Lord from the earth, ye dragons, and all deeps:
8	Blitz, Hagel, Schnee und Nebelschwaden, ihr Stürme, die seine Befehle ausführen.	Fire, and hail; snow, and vapour; stormy wind fulfilling his word:
9	Lobt ihn, ihr Berge und Hügel, ihr Obstbäume und Zedernwälder,	Mountains, and all hills; fruitful trees, and all cedars:
10	ihr Raubtiere und alles Vieh, ihr Kriechtiere und gefiederten Vögel.	Beasts, and all cattle; creeping things, and flying fowl:
11	Lobt ihn, ihr Könige der Welt und alle Völker, ihr Herrscher und alle Richter dieser Welt,	Kings of the earth, and all people; princes, and all judges of the earth:
12	ihr jungen Männer und auch ihr jungen Frauen, ihr alten und jungen Leute miteinander!	Both young men, and maidens; old men, and children:
13	Sie alle sollen den Namen des Herrn loben. Denn sein Name steht hoch über allem. Sein Glanz überstrahlt Erde und Himmel,	Let them praise the name of the Lord: for his name alone is excellent; his glory is above the earth and heaven.
14	und seinem Volk hat er Macht verliehen. Das ist ein wunderbarer Lobgesang für seine Frommen, für die Israeliten, das Volk, das ihm nahe ist. Halleluja!	He also exalteth the horn of his people, the praise of all his saints; even of the children of Israel, a people near unto him. Praise ye the Lord.
