1	Geheiligt werde dein Name / Alphabetpsalm EIN LOBGESANG, VON DAVID. א Hoch über alles will ich dich loben, mein Gott und König! Ich will deinen Namen preisen für immer und alle Zeit. ב	I will extol thee, my God, O king; and I will bless thy name for ever and ever.
2	Jeden Tag will ich dich preisen! Ich will deinen Namen rühmen für immer und alle Zeit. ג	Every day will I bless thee; and I will praise thy name for ever and ever.
3	Groß ist der Herr und verdient höchstes Lob. Niemand kann seine Größe erforschen. ד	Great is the Lord, and greatly to be praised; and his greatness is unsearchable.
4	Generationen sollen deine Werke rühmen und deine mächtigen Taten verkünden. ה	One generation shall praise thy works to another, and shall declare thy mighty acts.
5	Die Pracht deiner herrlichen Erscheinung, die Geschichten von deinen Wundern – auch ich will darüber nachdenken. ו	I will speak of the glorious honour of thy majesty, and of thy wondrous works.
6	Von deinen gewaltigen Taten sollen sie reden und von deinen großartigen Werken – auch ich will davon erzählen. ז	And men shall speak of the might of thy terrible acts: and I will declare thy greatness.
7	An deine unendliche Güte sollen sie erinnern. Jubeln sollen sie über deine Gerechtigkeit: ח	They shall abundantly utter the memory of thy great goodness, and shall sing of thy righteousness.
8	»Reich an Gnade und Barmherzigkeit ist der Herr, unendlich geduldig und groß in seiner Güte.« ט	The Lord is gracious, and full of compassion; slow to anger, and of great mercy.
9	Der Herr ist gut zu allen Menschen. Sein Mitleid gilt allen seinen Geschöpfen. י	The Lord is good to all: and his tender mercies are over all his works.
10	Herr, alle deine Geschöpfe sollen dich loben, und deine Frommen sollen dich preisen. כ	All thy works shall praise thee, O Lord; and thy saints shall bless thee.
11	Von deinem herrlichen Königreich sollen sie reden und von deinen mächtigen Taten sprechen. ל	They shall speak of the glory of thy kingdom, and talk of thy power;
12	So erfahren die Menschen von Gottes Taten, von der Pracht seines herrlichen Königreichs. מ	To make known to the sons of men his mighty acts, and the glorious majesty of his kingdom.
13	Dein Königreich besteht für alle Zeit, deine Herrschaft von Generation zu Generation. נ Der Herr ist zuverlässig in allem, was er sagt. Und er ist gütig in allem, was er tut. ס	Thy kingdom is an everlasting kingdom, and thy dominion endureth throughout all generations.
14	Der Herr stützt alle, die fallen, und richtet alle auf, die niedergeschlagen sind. ע	The Lord upholdeth all that fall, and raiseth up all those that be bowed down.
15	Mensch und Tier halten Ausschau nach dir. Du gibst ihnen Nahrung zur richtigen Zeit. פ	The eyes of all wait upon thee; and thou givest them their meat in due season.
16	Du öffnest deine wohltuende Hand, und alles, was lebt, wird davon satt. צ	Thou openest thine hand, and satisfiest the desire of every living thing.
17	Der Herr ist gerecht in allem, was er tut. Er ist gütig in allem, was er unternimmt. ק	The Lord is righteous in all his ways, and holy in all his works.
18	Der Herr ist allen nahe, die zu ihm rufen – all denen, die aufrichtig zu ihm rufen. ר	The Lord is nigh unto all them that call upon him, to all that call upon him in truth.
19	Er erfüllt die Bitten der Menschen, die ihm mit Ehrfurcht begegnen. Er hört ihr Schreien und hilft ihnen. ש	He will fulfil the desire of them that fear him: he also will hear their cry, and will save them.
20	Der Herr behütet alle, die ihn lieben. Doch alle Frevler vernichtet er. ת	The Lord preserveth all them that love him: but all the wicked will he destroy.
21	Mein Mund soll das Lob des Herrn verkünden. Alle sollen seinen heiligen Namen preisen für immer und alle Zeit.	My mouth shall speak the praise of the Lord: and let all flesh bless his holy name for ever and ever.
