1	Die sechste Vision: Die Schriftrolle Als ich nochmals aufschaute, sah ich eine fliegende Schriftrolle.	Then I turned, and lifted up mine eyes, and looked, and behold a flying roll.
2	Der Engel fragte mich: »Was siehst du?« Ich antwortete: »Eine fliegende Schriftrolle. Sie ist zehn Meter lang und fünf Meter breit.«	And he said unto me, What seest thou? And I answered, I see a flying roll; the length thereof is twenty cubits, and the breadth thereof ten cubits.
3	Da sagte er zu mir: »Das ist der Fluch, der über dem ganzen Land liegt. Er trifft jeden, der gestohlen hat und nicht bestraft worden ist. Und er trifft jeden, der einen Meineid geschworen hat und nicht bestraft worden ist.«	Then said he unto me, This is the curse that goeth forth over the face of the whole earth: for every one that stealeth shall be cut off as on this side according to it; and every one that sweareth shall be cut off as on that side according to it.
4	So spricht der Herr der himmlischen Heere: Ich lasse die Schriftrolle mit dem Fluch fliegen. Er kommt in das Haus des Diebs. Und er kommt in das Haus dessen, der bei meinem Namen einen Meineid geschworen hat. Er bleibt dort über Nacht und zerstört das Haus mitsamt seinen Balken und seinen Steinen.	I will bring it forth, saith the Lord of hosts, and it shall enter into the house of the thief, and into the house of him that sweareth falsely by my name: and it shall remain in the midst of his house, and shall consume it with the timber thereof and the stones thereof.
5	Die siebte Vision: Die Tonne Der Engel, der mit mir redete, trat vor. Er sagte zu mir: »Schau auf und sieh, was da erscheint!«	Then the angel that talked with me went forth, and said unto me, Lift up now thine eyes, and see what is this that goeth forth.
6	»Was ist das?«, fragte ich. Er sagte: »Was da erscheint, ist eine Tonne.« Und er fügte hinzu: »Darin steckt die Schuld, die das ganze Land auf sich geladen hat.«	And I said, What is it? And he said, This is an ephah that goeth forth. He said moreover, This is their resemblance through all the earth.
7	Als der runde Bleideckel angehoben wurde, kam eine Frau zum Vorschein. Sie saß im Inneren der Tonne.	And, behold, there was lifted up a talent of lead: and this is a woman that sitteth in the midst of the ephah.
8	Der Engel sagte: »Das ist die Bosheit!« Daraufhin stieß er sie zurück in die Tonne und tat den Deckel aus Blei wieder darauf.	And he said, This is wickedness. And he cast it into the midst of the ephah; and he cast the weight of lead upon the mouth thereof.
9	Dann schaute ich auf und sah zwei weibliche Wesen. Der Wind hob sie in die Lüfte, denn sie hatten Flügel wie Störche. Sie hoben die Tonne in die Höhe und flogen zwischen Himmel und Erde davon.	Then lifted I up mine eyes, and looked, and, behold, there came out two women, and the wind was in their wings; for they had wings like the wings of a stork: and they lifted up the ephah between the earth and the heaven.
10	Nun fragte ich den Engel, der mit mir redete: »Wohin bringen sie die Tonne?«	Then said I to the angel that talked with me, Whither do these bear the ephah?
11	Er antwortete: »In das Land Schinar. Dort soll für die Frau ein Tempel gebaut werden. Wenn er fertig ist, wird die Tonne dort aufgestellt.«	And he said unto me, To build it an house in the land of Shinar: and it shall be established, and set there upon her own base.
