| 2 | O meu soccorro vem do Senhor, que fez o céu e a terra. | My help cometh from the Lord, which made heaven and earth. |
| 3 | Não deixará vacillar o teu pé: aquelle que te guarda não tosquenejará. | He will not suffer thy foot to be moved: he that keepeth thee will not slumber. |
| 4 | Eis-que não tosquenejará nem dormirá o guarda d'Israel. | Behold, he that keepeth Israel shall neither slumber nor sleep. |
| 5 | O Senhor é quem te guarda: o Senhor é a tua sombra á tua direita. | The Lord is thy keeper: the Lord is thy shade upon thy right hand. |
