| 절 | Vulgata Clementina | King James Version |
|---|---|---|
Psalmus David, cum esset in deserto Idumææ. | Truly my soul waiteth upon God: from him cometh my salvation.
Deus, Deus meus, ad te de luce vigilo. Sitivit in te anima mea ; quam multipliciter tibi caro mea ! | He only is my rock and my salvation; he is my defence; I shall not be greatly moved.
In terra deserta, et invia, et inaquosa, sic in sancto apparui tibi, ut viderem virtutem tuam et gloriam tuam. | How long will ye imagine mischief against a man? ye shall be slain all of you: as a bowing wall shall ye be, and as a tottering fence.
Quoniam melior est misericordia tua super vitas, labia mea laudabunt te. | They only consult to cast him down from his excellency: they delight in lies: they bless with their mouth, but they curse inwardly. Selah.
Sic benedicam te in vita mea, et in nomine tuo levabo manus meas. | My soul, wait thou only upon God; for my expectation is from him.
Sicut adipe et pinguedine repleatur anima mea, et labiis exsultationis laudabit os meum. | He only is my rock and my salvation: he is my defence; I shall not be moved.
Si memor fui tui super stratum meum, in matutinis meditabor in te. | In God is my salvation and my glory: the rock of my strength, and my refuge, is in God.
Quia fuisti adjutor meus, et in velamento alarum tuarum exsultabo. | Trust in him at all times; ye people, pour out your heart before him: God is a refuge for us. Selah.
Adhæsit anima mea post te ; me suscepit dextera tua. | Surely men of low degree are vanity, and men of high degree are a lie: to be laid in the balance, they are altogether lighter than vanity.
Ipsi vero in vanum quæsierunt animam meam : introibunt in inferiora terræ ; | Trust not in oppression, and become not vain in robbery: if riches increase, set not your heart upon them.
tradentur in manus gladii : partes vulpium erunt. | God hath spoken once; twice have I heard this; that power belongeth unto God.
Rex vero lætabitur in Deo ; laudabuntur omnes qui jurant in eo : quia obstructum est os loquentium iniqua. | Also unto thee, O Lord, belongeth mercy: for thou renderest to every man according to his work.
