| 2 | adorabo ad templum sanctum tuum, et confitebor nomini tuo : super misericordia tua et veritate tua ; quoniam magnificasti super omne, nomen sanctum tuum. | We hanged our harps upon the willows in the midst thereof. |
| 3 | In quacumque die invocavero te, exaudi me ; multiplicabis in anima mea virtutem. | For there they that carried us away captive required of us a song; and they that wasted us required of us mirth, saying, Sing us one of the songs of Zion. |
