절Biblia Sacra Vulgata Alternative Texts (2007)King James Version
Ut quid Deus reppulisti in finemiratus est furor tuus super oves pascuae tuae Truly God is good to Israel, even to such as are of a clean heart.

intellectus Asaph
memor esto congregationis tuae quam possedisti ab initio redemisti virgam hereditatis tuae mons Sion in quo habitasti in eo
But as for me, my feet were almost gone; my steps had well nigh slipped.
leva manus tuas in superbias eorum in finem quanta malignatus est inimicus in sancto For I was envious at the foolish, when I saw the prosperity of the wicked.
et gloriati sunt qui oderunt te in medio sollemnitatis tuae posuerunt signa sua signa For there are no bands in their death: but their strength is firm.
et non cognoverunt sicut in exitu super summum quasi in silva lignorum securibus They are not in trouble as other men; neither are they plagued like other men.
exciderunt ianuas eius in id ipsum in securi et ascia deiecerunt ÷eam: Therefore pride compasseth them about as a chain; violence covereth them as a garment.
incenderunt igni sanctuarium tuum in terra polluerunt tabernaculum nominis tui Their eyes stand out with fatness: they have more than heart could wish.
dixerunt in corde suo cognatio eorum simul quiescere faciamus omnes dies festos Dei a terra They are corrupt, and speak wickedly concerning oppression: they speak loftily.
signa nostra non vidimus iam non est propheta et nos non cognoscet amplius They set their mouth against the heavens, and their tongue walketh through the earth.
usquequo Deus inproperabit inimicus inritat adversarius nomen tuum in finem Therefore his people return hither: and waters of a full cup are wrung out to them.
ut quid avertis manum tuam et dexteram tuam de medio sinu tuo in finem And they say, How doth God know? and is there knowledge in the most High?
Deus autem rex noster ante saeculum operatus est salutes in medio terrae Behold, these are the ungodly, who prosper in the world; they increase in riches.
tu confirmasti in virtute tua mare contribulasti capita draconum in aquis Verily I have cleansed my heart in vain, and washed my hands in innocency.
tu confregisti capita draconis dedisti eum escam populis Aethiopum For all the day long have I been plagued, and chastened every morning.
tu disrupisti fontem et torrentes ※tu siccasti fluvios Aetham: If I say, I will speak thus; behold, I should offend against the generation of thy children.
tuus est dies et tua est nox tu fabricatus es auroram et solem When I thought to know this, it was too painful for me;
tu fecisti omnes terminos terrae aestatem et ver tu plasmasti ea Until I went into the sanctuary of God; then understood I their end.
memor esto huius inimicus inproperavit Dominum et populus insipiens incitavit nomen tuum Surely thou didst set them in slippery places: thou castedst them down into destruction.
ne tradas bestiis animam confitentem tibi animas pauperum tuorum ne obliviscaris in finem How are they brought into desolation, as in a moment! they are utterly consumed with terrors.
respice in testamentum tuum quia repleti sunt qui obscurati sunt terrae domibus iniquitatum As a dream when one awaketh; so, O Lord, when thou awakest, thou shalt despise their image.
ne avertatur humilis factus confusus pauper et inops laudabunt nomen tuum Thus my heart was grieved, and I was pricked in my reins.
exsurge Deus iudica causam tuam memor esto inproperiorum tuorum eorum qui ab insipiente sunt tota die So foolish was I, and ignorant: I was as a beast before thee.
ne obliviscaris voces inimicorum tuorum superbia eorum qui te oderunt ascendit semper Nevertheless I am continually with thee: thou hast holden me by my right hand.
— Thou shalt guide me with thy counsel, and afterward receive me to glory.
— Whom have I in heaven but thee? and there is none upon earth that I desire beside thee.
— My flesh and my heart faileth: but God is the strength of my heart, and my portion for ever.
— For, lo, they that are far from thee shall perish: thou hast destroyed all them that go a whoring from thee.
— But it is good for me to draw near to God: I have put my trust in the Lord God, that I may declare all thy works.
