Iudica Domine nocentes me expugna expugnantes me I will bless the Lord at all times: his praise shall continually be in my mouth.

huic David
adprehende arma et scutum et exsurge in adiutorium mihi
My soul shall make her boast in the Lord: the humble shall hear thereof, and be glad.
effunde frameam et conclude adversus eos qui persequuntur me dic animae meae salus tua ego sum O magnify the Lord with me, and let us exalt his name together.
confundantur et revereantur quaerentes animam meam avertantur retrorsum et confundantur cogitantes mihi mala I sought the Lord, and he heard me, and delivered me from all my fears.
fiant tamquam pulvis ante faciem venti et angelus Domini coartans eos They looked unto him, and were lightened: and their faces were not ashamed.
fiat via illorum tenebrae et lubricum et angelus Domini persequens eos This poor man cried, and the Lord heard him, and saved him out of all his troubles.
quoniam gratis absconderunt mihi interitum laquei sui supervacue exprobraverunt animam meam The angel of the Lord encampeth round about them that fear him, and delivereth them.
veniat illi laqueus quem ignorat et captio quam abscondit conprehendat eum et in laqueo cadat in ipso O taste and see that the Lord is good: blessed is the man that trusteth in him.
anima autem mea exultabit in Domino delectabitur super salutari suo O fear the Lord, ye his saints: for there is no want to them that fear him.
omnia ossa mea dicent Domine quis similis tui eripiens inopem de manu fortiorum eius egenum et pauperem a diripientibus eum The young lions do lack, and suffer hunger: but they that seek the Lord shall not want any good thing.
surgentes testes iniqui quae ignorabam interrogabant me Come, ye children, hearken unto me: I will teach you the fear of the Lord.
retribuebant mihi mala pro bonis sterilitatem animae meae What man is he that desireth life, and loveth many days, that he may see good?
ego autem cum mihi molesti essent induebar cilicio humiliabam in ieiunio animam meam et oratio mea in sinum meum convertetur Keep thy tongue from evil, and thy lips from speaking guile.
quasi proximum quasi fratrem nostrum sic conplacebam quasi lugens et contristatus sic humiliabar Depart from evil, and do good; seek peace, and pursue it.
et adversum me laetati sunt et convenerunt congregata sunt super me flagella et ignoravi The eyes of the Lord are upon the righteous, and his ears are open unto their cry.
dissipati sunt nec conpuncti temptaverunt me subsannaverunt me subsannatione frenduerunt super me dentibus suis The face of the Lord is against them that do evil, to cut off the remembrance of them from the earth.
Domine quando respicies restitue animam meam a malignitate eorum a leonibus unicam meam The righteous cry, and the Lord heareth, and delivereth them out of all their troubles.
confitebor tibi in ecclesia magna in populo gravi laudabo te The Lord is nigh unto them that are of a broken heart; and saveth such as be of a contrite spirit.
non supergaudeant mihi qui adversantur mihi inique qui oderunt me gratis et annuunt oculis Many are the afflictions of the righteous: but the Lord delivereth him out of them all.
quoniam mihi quidem pacifice loquebantur et in iracundia ※terrae loquentes: dolos cogitabant He keepeth all his bones: not one of them is broken.
et dilataverunt super me os suum dixerunt euge euge viderunt oculi nostri Evil shall slay the wicked: and they that hate the righteous shall be desolate.
vidisti Domine ne sileas Domine ne discedas a me The Lord redeemeth the soul of his servants: and none of them that trust in him shall be desolate.
