Confitemini Domino quoniam bonusquoniam in saeculum misericordia eius O give thanks unto the Lord; call upon his name: make known his deeds among the people.

alleluia
quis loquetur potentias Domini auditas faciet omnes laudes eius
Sing unto him, sing psalms unto him: talk ye of all his wondrous works.
beati qui custodiunt iudicium et faciunt iustitiam in omni tempore Glory ye in his holy name: let the heart of them rejoice that seek the Lord.
memento nostri Domine in beneplacito populi tui visita nos in salutari tuo Seek the Lord, and his strength: seek his face evermore.
ad videndum in bonitate electorum tuorum ad laetandum in laetitia gentis tuae et lauderis cum hereditate tua Remember his marvellous works that he hath done; his wonders, and the judgments of his mouth;
peccavimus cum patribus nostris iniuste egimus iniquitatem fecimus O ye seed of Abraham his servant, ye children of Jacob his chosen.
patres nostri in Aegypto non intellexerunt mirabilia tua non fuerunt memores multitudinis misericordiae tuae et inritaverunt ascendentes in mare ※mare: Rubrum He is the Lord our God: his judgments are in all the earth.
et salvavit eos propter nomen suum ut notam faceret potentiam suam He hath remembered his covenant for ever, the word which he commanded to a thousand generations.
et increpuit mare Rubrum et exsiccatum est et deduxit eos in abyssis sicut in deserto Which covenant he made with Abraham, and his oath unto Isaac;
et salvavit eos de manu odientium et redemit eos de manu inimici And confirmed the same unto Jacob for a law, and to Israel for an everlasting covenant:
et operuit aqua tribulantes eos unus ex eis non remansit Saying, Unto thee will I give the land of Canaan, the lot of your inheritance:
et crediderunt in verbis eius et laudaverunt laudem eius When they were but a few men in number; yea, very few, and strangers in it.
cito fecerunt obliti sunt operum eius non sustinuerunt consilium eius When they went from one nation to another, from one kingdom to another people;
et concupierunt concupiscentiam in deserto et temptaverunt Deum in inaquoso He suffered no man to do them wrong: yea, he reproved kings for their sakes;
et dedit eis petitionem ipsorum et misit saturitatem in anima eorum Saying, Touch not mine anointed, and do my prophets no harm.
et inritaverunt Mosen in castris Aaron sanctum Domini Moreover he called for a famine upon the land: he brake the whole staff of bread.
aperta est terra et degluttivit Dathan et operuit super congregationem Abiron He sent a man before them, even Joseph, who was sold for a servant:
et exarsit ignis in synagoga eorum flamma conbusit peccatores Whose feet they hurt with fetters: he was laid in iron:
et fecerunt vitulum in Choreb et adoraverunt sculptile Until the time that his word came: the word of the Lord tried him.
et mutaverunt gloriam suam in similitudine vituli comedentis faenum The king sent and loosed him; even the ruler of the people, and let him go free.
He made him lord of his house, and ruler of all his substance:
mirabilia in terra Cham terribilia in mari Rubro To bind his princes at his pleasure; and teach his senators wisdom.
et dixit ut disperderet eos si non Moses electus eius stetisset in confractione in conspectu eius ut averteret iram eius ne disperderet eos Israel also came into Egypt; and Jacob sojourned in the land of Ham.
et pro nihilo habuerunt terram desiderabilem non crediderunt verbo eius And he increased his people greatly; and made them stronger than their enemies.
et murmurabant in tabernaculis suis non exaudierunt vocem Domini He turned their heart to hate his people, to deal subtilly with his servants.
et elevavit manum suam super eos ut prosterneret eos in deserto He sent Moses his servant; and Aaron whom he had chosen.
et ut deiceret semen eorum in nationibus et dispergeret eos in regionibus They shewed his signs among them, and wonders in the land of Ham.
He sent darkness, and made it dark; and they rebelled not against his word.
et inritaverunt eum in adinventionibus suis et multiplicata est in eis ruina He turned their waters into blood, and slew their fish.
et stetit Finees et placavit et cessavit quassatio Their land brought forth frogs in abundance, in the chambers of their kings.
et reputatum est ei in iustitiam in generatione et generationem usque in sempiternum He spake, and there came divers sorts of flies, and lice in all their coasts.
et inritaverunt ad aquam Contradictionis et vexatus est Moses propter eos He gave them hail for rain, and flaming fire in their land.
quia exacerbaverunt spiritum eius et distinxit in labiis suis He smote their vines also and their fig trees; and brake the trees of their coasts.
non disperdiderunt gentes quas dixit Dominus illis He spake, and the locusts came, and caterpillers, and that without number,
et commixti sunt inter gentes et didicerunt opera eorum And did eat up all the herbs in their land, and devoured the fruit of their ground.
et servierunt sculptilibus eorum et factum est illis in scandalum He smote also all the firstborn in their land, the chief of all their strength.
et immolaverunt filios suos et filias suas daemoniis He brought them forth also with silver and gold: and there was not one feeble person among their tribes.
et effuderunt sanguinem innocentem sanguinem filiorum suorum et filiarum ※suarum: quas sacrificaverunt sculptilibus Chanaan et interfecta est terra in sanguinibus Egypt was glad when they departed: for the fear of them fell upon them.
et contaminata est in operibus eorum et fornicati sunt in adinventionibus suis He spread a cloud for a covering; and fire to give light in the night.
et iratus est furore Dominus in populo suo et abominatus est hereditatem suam The people asked, and he brought quails, and satisfied them with the bread of heaven.
He opened the rock, and the waters gushed out; they ran in the dry places like a river.
et tribulaverunt eos inimici eorum et humiliati sunt sub manibus eorum For he remembered his holy promise, and Abraham his servant.
And he brought forth his people with joy, and his chosen with gladness:
et vidit cum tribularentur et audiret orationem eorum And gave them the lands of the heathen: and they inherited the labour of the people;
et memor fuit testamenti sui et paenituit eum secundum multitudinem misericordiae suae That they might observe his statutes, and keep his laws. Praise ye the Lord.
