절	Biblia Sacra Vulgata (2007)	King James Version
pro victoria ut non disperdas David humilem et simplicem quando fugit a facie Saul in spelunca	Be merciful unto me, O God: for man would swallow me up; he fighting daily oppresseth me.
miserere mei Deus miserere mei quoniam in te sperat anima mea in umbra alarum tuarum sperabo donec transeant insidiae	Mine enemies would daily swallow me up: for they be many that fight against me, O thou most High.
invocabo Deum altissimum Deum ultorem meum	What time I am afraid, I will trust in thee.
mittet de caelo et salvabit me exprobrabit conculcantibus me semper mittet Deus misericordiam suam et veritatem suam	In God I will praise his word, in God I have put my trust; I will not fear what flesh can do unto me.
anima mea in medio leonum dormivit ferocientium filii hominum dentes eorum lancea et sagittae et lingua eorum gladius acutus	Every day they wrest my words: all their thoughts are against me for evil.
exaltare super caelos Deus in omni terra gloria tua	They gather themselves together, they hide themselves, they mark my steps, when they wait for my soul.
rete paraverunt gressibus meis ad incurvandam animam meam foderunt ante me foveam ceciderunt in medium eius semper	Shall they escape by iniquity? in thine anger cast down the people, O God.
paratum cor meum Deus paratum cor meum cantabo et psallam	Thou tellest my wanderings: put thou my tears into thy bottle: are they not in thy book?
surge gloria mea surge psalterium et cithara surgam mane	When I cry unto thee, then shall mine enemies turn back: this I know; for God is for me.
confitebor tibi in populis Domine cantabo tibi in gentibus	In God will I praise his word: in the Lord will I praise his word.
quia magna usque ad caelos misericordia tua et usque ad nubes veritas tua	In God have I put my trust: I will not be afraid what man can do unto me.
exaltare super caelos Deus in omni terra gloria tua	Thy vows are upon me, O God: I will render praises unto thee.
—	For thou hast delivered my soul from death: wilt not thou deliver my feet from falling, that I may walk before God in the light of the living?
