1	super flumina Babylonis ibi sedimus et flevimus cum recordaremur Sion	O give thanks unto the Lord; for he is good: for his mercy endureth for ever.
2	super salices in medio eius suspendimus citharas nostras	O give thanks unto the God of gods: for his mercy endureth for ever.
3	quoniam ibi interrogaverunt nos qui captivos duxerunt nos verba carminis et qui adfligebant nos laeti canite nobis de canticis Sion	O give thanks to the Lord of lords: for his mercy endureth for ever.
4	quomodo cantabimus canticum Domini in terra aliena	To him who alone doeth great wonders: for his mercy endureth for ever.
5	si oblitus fuero tui Hierusalem in oblivione sit dextera mea	To him that by wisdom made the heavens: for his mercy endureth for ever.
