절Uma NTKing James Version
Hi role-na omea-makai, lako' ki'inca-di: lewuto' toe rahanga' Malta. And when they were escaped, then they knew that the island was called Melita.
Lompe' lia nono-ra pue' ngata hi kai'. Ratarima lompe' -kai, rapobaa-kakai apu kiponerui, apa' udaa wo'o-mi pai' molengi'. And the barbarous people shewed us no little kindness: for they kindled a fire, and received us every one, because of the present rain, and because of the cold.
Paulus mporumpu kaju pai' nalobu. Bula-na mpodampa kaju hi lolo apu, hangaa mehupa' hama'a ule ngkai rala kaju, apa' morani' -hawo nanene apu. Ule toe mpotilo' pale-na. And when Paul had gathered a bundle of sticks, and laid them on the fire, there came a viper out of the heat, and fastened on his hand.
Karahilo-na pue' ngata ule to mentoe hi pale Paulus, ra'uli' -mi: "Topepatehi-i-tawo' tau tohe'ii! Bo hilo-mi, nau' uma-i mate hi rala tahi' we'i, aga Anitu Topotangara' uma mpelele' -i tuwu'." And when the barbarians saw the venomous beast hang on his hand, they said among themselves, No doubt this man is a murderer, whom, though he hath escaped the sea, yet vengeance suffereth not to live.
Ane Paulus-hana, uma hangkedia' peda' na'epe. Napetonta-wadi ule toe hi rala apu. And he shook off the beast into the fire, and felt no harm.
Ra'uli' pue' ngata, mowoto-ki mpai' pale-na, ba mule' modungka mata' -i pai' mate. Hiaa' mahae rapeka'au, uma-hawo moapa-i. Ngkai ree mobali' wo'o-mi pekiri-ra, ra'uli': "Paulus toei, to mobaraka' -i!" Howbeit they looked when he should have swollen, or fallen down dead suddenly: but after they had looked a great while, and saw no harm come to him, they changed their minds, and said that he was a god.
Uma molaa ngkai ree, ria bonea. Bonea toe, bonea Publius, kapala' hi lewuto' toe. Hante kalompe' nono-na, nakio' -kai hilou hi tomi-na, pai' natorata-kai rala-na tolu eo. In the same quarters were possessions of the chief man of the island, whose name was Publius; who received us, and lodged us three days courteously.
Nto'u toe, tuama-na Publius peda' ngkelengi' pai' nturi mo'ue. Paulus hilou hi poturua-na, naposampayai pai' najama-i, alaa-na mo'uri' -imi. And it came to pass, that the father of Publius lay sick of a fever and of a bloody flux: to whom Paul entered in, and prayed, and laid his hands on him, and healed him.
Oti toe, hawe'ea to peda' hi lewuto' toe tumai mpopetulungi hi Paulus, pai' napaka'uri' -ra. So when this was done, others also, which had diseases in the island, came, and were healed:
Wori' rewa to rawai' -kakai hewa pebila' -ra. Pai' nto'u-kai ngkarewa-mi me'ongko', rakeni napa-napa kaparaluua-kai pai' ratu'u hi rala kapal. Who also honoured us with many honours; and when we departed, they laded us with such things as were necessary.
Hono' -makai tolu mula hi lewuto' Malta, me'ongko' wo'o-makai mpohawi' kapal to ngkai Aleksandria. Kapal toe mahae-imi-hana mento'o hi lewuto' mpeka'au katimpaliu-na tempo lengi'. Hanga' kapal toe, Anitu Moropa'. And after three months we departed in a ship of Alexandria, which had wintered in the isle, whose sign was Castor and Pollux.
Mehani-kai hi ngata Sirakusa, tolu eo-kai hi ria. And landing at Syracuse, we tarried there three days.
Ngkai ree, kaliliu wo'o-makai mpewiwi' tahi', rata hi ngata Regium. Kamepulo-na, mewui ngolu' to lompe' ngkai selatan. Toe pai' mogasi pomako' kapal-kai, pai' ro'eo oti toe rata-makai hi ngata Putioli hi tana' Italia. Mana'u-makai ngkai kapal hi ree. And from thence we fetched a compass, and came to Rhegium: and after one day the south wind blew, and we came the next day to Puteoli:
Pana'u-kai ngkai kapal toe, hirua' -kai hante ba hangkuja dua ompi' hampepangalaa'. Rakio' -kai hilou hi tomi-ra pai' ratorata-kai hamingku. Ngkai ree, mako' witi' -makai hilou hi Roma. Where we found brethren, and were desired to tarry with them seven days: and so we went toward Rome.
Hi lengko ohea-pidi-kai, ompi' -ompi' hampepangalaa' to hi Roma mpo'epe kaneo' -kai rata-mi. Toe pai' katumai-rami mpotomu-kai hi ngata to rahanga' Pasar Apius pai' Pasanggrahan to Tolu. Kanahilo-na Paulus ompi' hampepangalaa' -kai ngkai Roma toera, na'uli' tarima kasi hi Alata'ala, pai' morawa-mi nono-na. And from thence, when the brethren heard of us, they came to meet us as far as Appii forum, and The three taverns: whom when Paul saw, he thanked God, and took courage.
Karata-kai hi Roma, Paulus uma-pi ratarungku'. Rapalogai moto-i mo'oha' hiapa konoa-na, aga hadua tantara mpodongo-i. And when we came to Rome, the centurion delivered the prisoners to the captain of the guard: but Paul was suffered to dwell by himself with a soldier that kept him.
Tolu eo-kai hi ria, Paulus mpokio' totu'a-totu'a to Yahudi bona mpohirua' -ki. Porumpu-ra toe, mololita-imi Paulus, na'uli' -raka: "Ompi' -ompi', uma-kuwo ria sala' -ku hi ompi' -ta to Yahudi, uma-a ria mpotiboki ada totu'a-ta. Aga nau' wae, rahoko' -a hi Yerusalem pai' -a ratonu hi topoparenta to Roma. And it came to pass, that after three days Paul called the chief of the Jews together: and when they were come together, he said unto them, Men and brethren, though I have committed nothing against the people, or customs of our fathers, yet was I delivered prisoner from Jerusalem into the hands of the Romans.
Kara-kara-ku toe raparesa' topoparenta to Roma, pai' doko' rabahaka-a, apa' monoto-mi ka'uma-na ria sala' -ku to natao rapatehi-ka. Who, when they had examined me, would have let me go, because there was no cause of death in me.
Tapi' to Yahudi hi Yudea me'ewa ncuu, uma-ra dota mpobahaka-a. Jadi', uma ria ohea ntani' -na, merapi' -ama mpobua' kara-kara-ku hi Kaisar. Nau' wae, uma ba ria to kupakilu-raka ompi' -ta to Yahudi. But when the Jews spake against it, I was constrained to appeal unto Cesar; not that I had ought to accuse my nation of.
Jadi', toe pai' oi-ama hi Roma, pai' ohe'i-mokoi ompi' -ompi', kukio' -koi tumai apa' doko' kupololitai-koi. Apa' pai' -a rataha tohe'i-e, ngkai pepangala' -ku hi Magau' Topetolo' to najanci Alata'ala, hibalia hante hawe'ea to Israel." For this cause therefore have I called for you, to see you, and to speak with you: because that for the hope of Israel I am bound with this chain.
Ra'uli' totu'a to Yahudi toera mpo'uli' -ki Paulus: "Uma ria sura kitarima ngkai Yudea to mpotompo'wiwi-ko. Pai' uma wo'o ria ba haduaa ngkai ria to ngkeni kareba ba mpololita kada'aa-nu. And they said unto him, We neither received letters out of Judea concerning thee, neither any of the brethren that came shewed or spake any harm of thee.
Sampale-di, doko' ki'epe tudui' -nu mpokahangai' Magau' Topetolo' tetu-e. Apa' ki'epe moto tauna hiapa-apa mposapuaka tudui' tetu." But we desire to hear of thee what thou thinkest: for as concerning this sect, we know that every where it is spoken against.
Oti toe, raponoa' -mi eo kahiruaa' -ra tena hante Paulus. Rata mpu'u-mi eo to ratoa', wori' -mi tauna morumpu hi po'ohaa' Paulus. Ngkai mepulo duu' ncimonou', napakanoto-raka Kayesus-na Magau' to najanci Alata'ala. Nabasa ihi' Atura Musa pai' sura nabi-nabi, nanotohi-raka pai' nabawai-ra mepangala' hi Yesus. And when they had appointed him a day, there came many to him into his lodging; to whom he expounded and testified the kingdom of God, persuading them concerning Jesus, both out of the law of Moses, and out of the prophets, from morning till evening.
Ria-ra to mpangala' lolita-na, ria wo'o to uma mpangala'. And some believed the things which were spoken, and some believed not.
Pagaa' -gaa' -ramo ngkai porumpua toe, apa' uma mpu'u-pi ria kahintuwuaa' -ra. Aga kako'ia-ra mogaa', Paulus mpololitai-ra hewa tohe'i: "Makono mpu'u-di lolita Inoha' Tomoroli' to napohowa' nabi Yesaya hi ntu'a-ta owi-e. And when they agreed not among themselves, they departed, after that Paul had spoken one word, Well spake the Holy Ghost by Esaias the prophet unto our fathers,
Hewa tohe'i moni-na: Na'uli' Pue' Ala: `Hilou-ko, uli' -raka to Yahudi toera: Pe'epe moto-ra, aga uma oa' ra'incai batua-na. Pehilo moto-ra, aga hewa to uma oa' rahiloi mpu'u. Saying, Go unto this people, and say, Hearing ye shall hear, and shall not understand; and seeing ye shall see, and not perceive:
Apa' moko'o-mi nono-ra, mengkawongo-ra pai' mengkawero-ra: oja' -ra pehilo hante mata-ra, oja' -ra pe'epe hante tilinga-ra, oja' -ra ranotohi nono-ra. Ka'omea-na, uma-ra mpai' nculii' tumai hi Aku', pai' uma-ra kuwai' kalompea'.'" For the heart of this people is waxed gross, and their ears are dull of hearing, and their eyes have they closed; lest they should see with their eyes, and hear with their ears, and understand with their heart, and should be converted, and I should heal them.
Oti toe, na'uli' wo'o-mi Paulus: "Ompi' -ompi'! Ane uma-koi dota mpotarima Kareba Lompe' to mpokeni kalompea' hi manusia', sala' -ni moto. Tapi' bona ni'inca: kareba toe raparata-miraka tauna to bela-ra to Yahudi. Hira' -mi-hana mpai' to mpotarima." (( Be it known therefore unto you, that the salvation of God is sent unto the Gentiles, and that they will hear it.
Ka'oti-na Paulus mololita hewa toe, nculii' -ramo to Yahudi ngkai ree, pai' -ra momehono' -hono'.)) And when he had said these words, the Jews departed, and had great reasoning among themselves.
Ngkai ree, Paulus tida hi Roma rompae kahae-na hi rala tomi to nasewa. Goe' -i mpotarima hawe'ea tauna to doko' mpencuai' -i. And Paul dwelt two whole years in his own hired house, and received all that came in unto him,
Hante uma ria kakoo-koroa' -na, naparata-raka Kayesus-na Pue' pai' Magau' Topetolo', pai' natudui' -ra ohea-na jadi' ntodea-na Alata'ala hi rala Kamagaua' -na. Pai' uma ria to mposaleroi-i. Preaching the kingdom of God, and teaching those things which concern the Lord Jesus Christ, with all confidence, no man forbidding him.
