Ngkai ree, suro Pue' Yesus hante ompi' -ompi' hampepangalaa' to hi tana' Yudea mpo'epe karia-ra to bela-ra to Yahudi mpotarima wo'o-ramo-rawo Lolita Alata'ala. And the apostles and brethren that were in Judea heard that the Gentiles had also received the word of God.
Toe pai' karata-na Petrus hi Yerusalem, ba hangkuja dua to Yahudi topepangala' hi Yesus mposalai' -i, And when Peter was come up to Jerusalem, they that were of the circumcision contended with him,
ra'uli' -ki: "Napa pai' mesua' -ko-kona hi tomi tauna to babo' ntuku' ada agama-ta, pai' ngkoni' wo'o-ko-kona dohe-rae?" Saying, Thou wentest in to men uncircumcised, and didst eat with them.
Ngkai ree, Petrus mpotutura-raka hawe'ea to jadi' ngkai lomo' -na, na'uli': But Peter rehearsed the matter from the beginning, and expounded it by order unto them, saying,
"Bula-ku mosampaya hi ngata Yope, muu-mule' molinga' -a pai' ria pangila-ku. Hi rala pangila-ku toe, kuhilo kumu' to mowela', ratoe hi opo' huno-na pai' ra'ulu tumai ngkai langi' hompo hi ncori-ku. I was in the city of Joppa praying: and in a trance I saw a vision, A certain vessel descend, as it had been a great sheet, let down from heaven by four corners; and it came even to me:
Kukamata ihi' -na, kuhilo-kuwo wori' nyala binata to opo' witi' -na, binata to me'ila, binata to menyolo, pai' nte danci wo'o. Upon the which when I had fastened mine eyes, I considered, and saw fourfooted beasts of the earth, and wild beasts, and creeping things, and fowls of the air.
Ngkai ree, ku'epe to mpololitai-a, na'uli' -ka: `Petrus, mokore-moko, sumale' -ramo pai' nukoni'.' And I heard a voice saying unto me, Arise, Peter; slay and eat.
"Kutompoi': `Uma-e' Pue'! Ko'ia ria hangkania kukoni' binata to rapalii' ba to babo' ntuku' ada agama-kai.' But I said, Not so, Lord: for nothing common or unclean hath at any time entered into my mouth.
"Ku'epe tena lolita tohe'e mpo'uli' -ka: `Napa to na'uli' Alata'ala lompe', neo' nu'uli' iko babo'.' But the voice answered me again from heaven, What God hath cleansed, that call not thou common.
Tohe'e kuhilo tolu ngkani, pai' te'ore' nculii' -mi hilou hi langi'. And this was done three times: and all were drawn up again into heaven.
"Nto'u toe wo'o-hawo, rata-mi tolu tauna hi tomi po'ohaa' -ku. To tolu toera, tauna to bela-ra to Yahudi to rahubui ngkai ngata Kaisarea hilou hi Yope mpopali' -a. And, behold, immediately there were three men already come unto the house where I was, sent from Cesarea unto me.
Inoha' Tomoroli' mpo'uli' -ka: `Petrus, neo' morara' nono-nu mpotuku' tauna toera.' Jadi', hilou mpu'u-ama dohe-ra. Pai' ria moto sabi' -ku hi rehe'i, apa' ompi' -ta to ono toera mai mpodohei-a hilou hi Kaisarea. Karata-kai hi tomi Kornelius, mesua' -makai hi rala-na. And the spirit bade me go with them, nothing doubting. Moreover these six brethren accompanied me, and we entered into the man’s house:
Kornelius mpotutura-kakai kampohilo-na hadua mala'eka mehupa' hi tomi-na to mpo'uli' -ki: `Hubui tauna hilou hi Yope mpopali' hadua tomane to rahanga' Simon Petrus bona tumai-i. And he shewed us how he had seen an angel in his house, which stood and said unto him, Send men to Joppa, and call for Simon, whose surname is Peter;
Hi'a mpai' to mpoparata-koko kareba to mpokeni kalompea' hi iko, duu' -na hi hawe'ea tauna ihi' tomi-nu.' Who shall tell thee words, whereby thou and all thy house shall be saved.
"Jadi', bula-ku mpololitai-ra-pidi, hompo-mi Inoha' Tomoroli' mpokuasai-ra, hibalia hewa to jadi' hi kita' to Yahudi lomo' -na. And as I began to speak, the Holy Ghost fell on them, as on us at the beginning.
Ngkai ree, kukiwoi-mi lolita Pue' to mpo'uli': `Yohanes meniu' hante ue, aga koi' mpai' raniu' hante Inoha' Tomoroli'.' Then remembered I the word of the Lord, how that he said, John indeed baptized with water; but ye shall be baptized with the Holy Ghost.
Jadi', ompi' -ompi', monoto-mi Alata'ala mpowai' Inoha' Tomoroli' hi hira' to bela-ra to Yahudi, hibalia hewa to nawai' -taka kita', sabana pepangala' -ta hi Pue' Yesus Kristus. Jadi', hema rahi-a aku' toi-e, pai' daho' -a mpolawa' patuju Alata'ala?" Forasmuch then as God gave them the like gift as he did unto us, who believed on the Lord Jesus Christ; what was I, that I could withstand God?
Kara'epe-na toporumpu toera lolita Petrus, rabahakai-mi mposalai' -i. Mpo'une' Alata'ala lau-ramo, ra'uli': "Ane wae-tano, natarima moto-ra-rawo Alata'ala tauna to bela-ra to Yahudi, napalogai-ra medea ngkai jeko' -ra duu' -na mporata katuwua' to lompe' duu' kahae-hae-na." When they heard these things, they held their peace, and glorified God, saying, Then hath God also to the Gentiles granted repentance unto life.
Jadi', ntepu'u ngkai karapatehi-na Stefanus, topetuku' Yesus hi Yerusalem rabalinai', pai' wori' -ramo to metibo' hilou hi ngata doo, alaa-na pahawu' -hawu' -ramo. Ria-ra to rata hi tana' Fenisia, ria wo'o-ra to loha hi tana' Siprus pai' hi ngata Antiokhia. Hiapa kahilouaa-ra, mpoparata-ra Lolita Pue' Ala, aga muntu' hi to Yahudi-wadi. Now they which were scattered abroad upon the persecution that arose about Stephen travelled as far as Phenice, and Cyprus, and Antioch, preaching the word to none but unto the Jews only.
Jadi' ngkai ree, ria wo'o-ra-rawo to mepangala' hi Yesus to ngkai tana' Siprus pai' Kirene. Ngkai hira' toe, ria to hilou hi ngata Antiokhia mpokeni Kareba Lompe' hi tauna to bela-ra to Yahudi, mpo'uli' -raka Kayesus-na Pue'. And some of them were men of Cyprus and Cyrene, which, when they were come to Antioch, spake unto the Grecians, preaching the Lord Jesus.
Baraka' Pue' ria dohe-ra, pai' alaa-na wori' -ramo to Antiokhia mepangala' pai' mpotonu katuwu' -ra hi Pue'. And the hand of the Lord was with them: and a great number believed, and turned unto the Lord.
Jadi', topetuku' Yesus to hi Yerusalem, mpo'epe wo'o-ra napa to jadi' hi Antiokhia toe. Toe pai' Barnabas rahubui hilou hi Antiokhia. Then tidings of these things came unto the ears of the church which was in Jerusalem: and they sent forth Barnabas, that he should go as far as Antioch.
Karata-na Barnabas hi ria, goe' lia-mi nono-na, apa' nahilo kabohe pegane' Alata'ala mpogane' tauna to mepangala' hi Yesus toera. Jadi', Barnabas mporohoi nono-ra pai' na'uli' -raka bona tida-ra mpotuku' Pue' Yesus hante nono mpu'u. Who, when he came, and had seen the grace of God, was glad, and exhorted them all, that with purpose of heart they would cleave unto the Lord.
Barnabas toei, tauna to lompe' nono-na. Nakuasai-i Inoha' Tomoroli' pai' moroho pepangala' -na. Toe pai' wori' tena to Antiokhia mepangala' hi Pue'. For he was a good man, and full of the Holy Ghost and of faith: and much people was added unto the Lord.
Oti toe, hilou-imi Barnabas hi ngata Tarsus mpopali' Saulus. Then departed Barnabas to Tarsus, for to seek Saul:
Wae kanarua' -na, napo'ema' -imi hilou hi Antiokhia. Barnabas pai' Saulus, tida-ra hi Antiokhia hampae kahae-na, morumpu ncuu-ra hante topepangala' hi Pue' Yesus to hi ria, pai' -ra mpotudui' wori' tauna. Hi Antiokhia toe-mi lomo' -na topetuku' Yesus rahanga' to Kristen. And when he had found him, he brought him unto Antioch. And it came to pass, that a whole year they assembled themselves with the church, and taught much people. And the disciples were called Christians first in Antioch.
Nto'u toe wo'o, ba hangkuja dua to Kristen ngkai Yerusalem rata hi Antiokhia. To Kristen toera, paka' nabi apa' ria pakulea' -ra mpohowa' lolita Alata'ala. And in these days came prophets from Jerusalem unto Antioch.
Hadua ngkai tauna toera, hanga' -na Agabus. Mokore-i pai' hante petete' Inoha' Tomoroli' nalowa ami' -mi karia-na mpai' oro' bohe hi humalili' Kamagaua' Roma. (Oro' toe madupa' mpu'u-mi nto'u poparenta-na Magau' Klaudius hi Roma.) And there stood up one of them named Agabus, and signified by the spirit that there should be great dearth throughout all the world: which came to pass in the days of Claudius Cesar.
Mpo'epe toe, mohawa' -ramo topetuku' Yesus hi Antiokhia doko' mpotulungi ompi' hampepangalaa' -ra to hi tana' Yudea. Jadi', butu-butu dua-ra mpowai' doi ntuku' pakulea' -ra, Then the disciples, every man according to his ability, determined to send relief unto the brethren which dwelt in Judea:
pai' doi tohe'e rarumpu. Oti toe, Barnabas pai' Saulus rasarumaka mpokeni doi toe hilou hi pangkeni topetuku' Yesus hi Yerusalem. Which also they did, and sent it to the elders by the hands of Barnabas and Saul.
