Tohe'i-mi Kareba Lompe', tutura katuwu' -na Yesus Kristus, Ana' Alata'ala. The beginning of the gospel of Jesus Christ, the Son of God;
Tutura-na ntepu'u ngkai karata-na Yohanes Topeniu'. Karata-na Yohanes toei, telowa ami' -mi hi rala sura nabi Yesaya. Hante wiwi nabi, Alata'ala mpo'uli' -ki Ana' -na hewa toi: Hi'a toi-mi suro-ku, kuhubui-i meri'ulu ngkai Iko, bona mporodo ohea-nu." As it is written in the prophets, Behold, I send my messenger before thy face, which shall prepare thy way before thee.
"Mekio' -i hi papada to wao', na'uli': `Neo' rata-imi Pue'! Porodo ami' -miki ohea-na. Nipakalempe ami' -mi ohea to natara mpai'.'" The voice of one crying in the wilderness, Prepare ye the way of the Lord, make his paths straight.
Hewa to ra'uki' toe, mehupa' mpu'u-imi Yohanes Topeniu' hi papada to wao'. Mpoparata-i Lolita Alata'ala hi ntodea, na'uli': "Medea-mokoi ngkai jeko' -ni, pai' kana tumai-koi kuniu' bona Alata'ala mpo'ampungi jeko' -ni." John did baptize in the wilderness, and preach the baptism of repentance for the remission of sins.
Wori' tauna to hilou hi papada to wao' doko' mpo'epe lolita-na Yohanes. Ria-ra ngkai ngata Yerusalem pai' ngkai hawe'ea ngata hi tana' Yudea. Hilou-ra mpangaku' jeko' -ra, pai' naniu' -ra hi ue Yordan, tanda kamedea-ra ngkai jeko' -ra. And there went out unto him all the land of Judea, and they of Jerusalem, and were all baptized of him in the river of Jordan, confessing their sins.
Pohea-na Yohanes rababehi ngkai wulu porewua to rahanga' unta. Salepe' -na ngkai kuliba. Koni' -na lari pai' ue wani. And John was clothed with camel’s hair, and with a girdle of a skin about his loins; and he did eat locusts and wild honey;
Mpopalele-i kareba toi: "Ngkabokoa' ngkai aku', tumai mpai' to meliu kuasa-na ngkai aku'. Bangku' mowilingkudu mpobongka koloro sapatu' -na, uma-a-kuwo natao. And preached, saying, There cometh one mightier than I after me, the latchet of whose shoes I am not worthy to stoop down and unloose.
Aku' mponiu' -koi hante ue tanda kamedea-ni ngkai jeko' -ni. Aga Hi'a mpai' mponiu' -koi hante Inoha' Tomoroli'." I indeed have baptized you with water: but he shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost.
Rala-na ha'eo, Yesus me'ongko' ngkai ngata Nazaret hi tana' Galilea, tumai mpopeniu' hi Yohanes. Yohanes mponiu' -i hi ue Yordan. And it came to pass in those days, that Jesus came from Nazareth of Galilee, and was baptized of John in Jordan.
Wae ka'oti-na raniu', mencore-imi ngkai ue, pai' mpohilo-imi langi' mobea pai' Inoha' Tomoroli' mana'u tumai molence mpo-danci mangkebodo hompo hi Hi'a. And straightway coming up out of the water, he saw the heavens opened, and the Spirit like a dove descending upon him:
Alata'ala mololita ngkai langi' mpo'uli' -ki: "Iko toi-mi Ana' -ku to kupe'ahi'. Iko-mi to mpakagoe' nono-ku." And there came a voice from heaven, saying, Thou art my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.
Oti toe, Inoha' Tomoroli' mpakeni Yesus lou hi papada to wao'. And immediately the Spirit driveth him into the wilderness.
Opo' mpulu' eo-i hi ria. Bula-na hi papada toe, Magau' Anudaa' mposori-i. Binata to me'ila dohe-na, pai' mala'eka mpomawai-i. And he was there in the wilderness forty days, tempted of Satan; and was with the wild beasts; and the angels ministered unto him.
Ko'ia mahae ngkai ree, Yohanes Topeniu' rahoko' pai' -i ratarungku'. Nto'u toe, hilou-imi Yesus hi tana' Galilea, pai' -i mpopalele Kareba Lompe' to ngkai Alata'ala, Now after that John was put in prison, Jesus came into Galilee, preaching the gospel of the kingdom of God,
na'uli': "Neo' rata-mi tempo-na Alata'ala jadi' Magau' hi dunia'! Medea-mokoi ngkai jeko' -ni, pangala' -mi Kareba Lompe'." And saying, The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand: repent ye, and believe the gospel.
Bula-na momako' hi wiwi' rano Galilea, mpohilo-i rodua tauna. Hanga' -ra: Simon hante Andreas ompi' -na. Nto'u toe, bula-ra mebau' hi rano mojala', apa' toe-mi-rawo bago-ra. Now as he walked by the sea of Galilee, he saw Simon and Andrew his brother casting a net into the sea: for they were fishers.
Yesus mpo'uli' -raka: "Mai-mokoi ntuku' -a! Uma-pokoi mebau' mpali' uru. Ngkai wae lau, kuwai' -koi pobago mpotudui' tauna mepangala' hi Aku'." And Jesus said unto them, Come ye after me, and I will make you to become fishers of men.
Karapalahii-nami jala' -ra, pai' ntepu'u eo toe mpotuku' Yesus-ramo. And straightway they forsook their nets, and followed him.
Napaliliu-mi Yesus momako', ko'ia molaa ngkai ree mpohilo wo'o-imi rodua to ntali ompi': Yakobus pai' Yohanes, ana' -na Zebedeus. Hira' toe, bula-ra mpokolompehii jala' -ra hi rala sakaya. And when he had gone a little further thence, he saw James the son of Zebedee, and John his brother, who also were in the ship mending their nets.
Nakio' -ramo mpotuku' -i. Jadi', rapalahii-mi tuama-ra hi rala sakaya hante tauna to dohe-ra to ngkoni' gaji', pai' mpotuku' Yesus-ramo. And straightway he called them: and they left their father Zebedee in the ship with the hired servants, and went after him.
Ngkai ree, Yesus hante topetuku' -na hilou hi ngata Kapernaum. Hi eo pepuea' to Yahudi, mesua' -imi hi rala tomi posampayaa pai' natepu'u-mi metudui'. And they went into Capernaum; and straightway on the sabbath day he entered into the synagogue, and taught.
Konce-ramo tauna to mpo'epe tudui' -na. Apa' uma-i metudui' hewa guru-guru agama. Petudui' -na, hewa tauna to mokuasa mpu'u. And they were astonished at his doctrine: for he taught them as one that had authority, and not as the scribes.
Nto'u toe, ria hadua tauna to nahawi' anudaa', mesua' wo'o-i-hawo hi tomi posampayaa toe, pai' -i mejeu': And there was in their synagogue a man with an unclean spirit; and he cried out,
"Ee Yesus to Nazaret! Doko' nupopai-dakaie? Ba doko' nuropuhi-dakaie? Ku'inca moto-kole, ka'Iko-na Suro to moroli' ngkai Alata'ala-e." Saying, Let us alone; what have we to do with thee, thou Jesus of Nazareth? art thou come to destroy us? I know thee who thou art, the Holy One of God.
Yesus mpo'uli' -ki anudaa' toei: "Ngkaba'i-ko! Palai-ko ngkai tauna tetui!" And Jesus rebuked him, saying, Hold thy peace, and come out of him.
Tauna toei moridi' sabana anudaa', pai' -i me'au, pai' malai-mi anudaa' to mpohawi' -i. And when the unclean spirit had torn him, and cried with a loud voice, he came out of him.
Konce omea-ramo tauna to mpohilo, alaa-na momepololitai-ramo ra'uli': "Uma mowo-e'! Toi-e tudui' to bo'u, ria mpu'u baraka' -na! Mpopalai-i anudaa', bo ratuku' mpu'u-diki-hana hawa' -nae!" And they were all amazed, insomuch that they questioned among themselves, saying, What thing is this? what new doctrine is this? for with authority commandeth he even the unclean spirits, and they do obey him.
Ngkai ree, kamolele-nami kareba to mpotompo'wiwi Yesus hobo' hi tana' Galilea. And immediately his fame spread abroad throughout all the region round about Galilee.
Kanculii' -ra Yesus hante ana'guru-na ngkai tomi posampayaa toe, hilou-ramo hi tomi-ra Simon pai' Andreas. Yakobus pai' Yohanes hilou wo'o dohe-ra. And forthwith, when they were come out of the synagogue, they entered into the house of Simon and Andrew, with James and John.
Hi ria, piniana-na Simon tobine ntora turu apa' ngkelengi' -i. Rapesahui mpo'uli' -ki Yesus kapeda' -na. But Simon’s wife’s mother lay sick of a fever, and anon they tell him of her.
Ngkai ree, hilou-imi Yesus hi poturua-na, nakamu pale-na pai' napopemata-i. Ncaliu mo'uri' -imi, pai' -i mpolayani-ra. And he came and took her by the hand, and lifted her up; and immediately the fever left her, and she ministered unto them.
Ncimonou' toe, limpa-mi eo, wori' tauna tumai hi Yesus mpokeni hawe'ea to peda' ba to nahawi' seta. And at even, when the sun did set, they brought unto him all that were diseased, and them that were possessed with devils.
Wori' pue' ngata tumai morumpu hi berewe tomi Simon. And all the city was gathered together at the door.
Wori' tauna to napaka'uri' ngkai haki' -ra to wori' nyala. Wori' wo'o seta to mpesuai' tauna napopalai. Aga seta toera, uma-ra napiliu mololita, apa' ra'inca moto Kahi'a-na Ana' Alata'ala. And he healed many that were sick of divers diseases, and cast out many devils; and suffered not the devils to speak, because they knew him.
Kamepulo-na parabaja-pidi, memata-imi Yesus pai' -i malai ngkai ngata hilou hi kawaoa' -na, lou mosampaya. And in the morning, rising up a great while before day, he went out, and departed into a solitary place, and there prayed.
Simon hante doo-na hilou mpali' -i. Kararua' -na, ra'uli' -ki: And Simon and they that were with him followed after him.
"Wori' tauna mpali' -ko Guru." And when they had found him, they said unto him, All men seek for thee.
Na'uli' -raka: "Hilou-tamo hi ngata ntani' -na to mohu' bona mpokeni Lolita Alata'ala hi ria wo'o-a. Apa' toe-mi patuju-ku tumai hi dunia'." And he said unto them, Let us go into the next towns, that I may preach there also: for therefore came I forth.
Ngkai ree, kahilou-nami Yesus hante ana'guru-na mpokeni Lolita Alata'ala hi hawe'ea ngata hi tana' Galilea. Metudui' -i hi rala tomi-tomi posampayaa, pai' -i mpopalai seta to mpesuai' tauna. And he preached in their synagogues throughout all Galilee, and cast out devils.
Ria hadua tauna to mohaki' poko' rata hi Yesus. Powingkotu' -nami mpopetulungi, na'uli': "Ane ma'ala, paka'uri' -a-kuwo!" And there came a leper to him, beseeching him, and kneeling down to him, and saying unto him, If thou wilt, thou canst make me clean.
Metumu' -mi ahi' -na Yesus mpohilo-i. Toe pai' najama-i pai' na'uli' -ki: "Ma'ala moto, kupaka'uri' -moko!" And Jesus, moved with compassion, put forth his hand, and touched him, and saith unto him, I will; be thou clean.
Hampinisi mata, moronto-mi haki' -na, mo'uri' -imi. And as soon as he had spoken, immediately the leprosy departed from him, and he was cleansed.
Oti toe, Yesus mpohubui-i hilou, na'uli' -ki: "Kutagi mpu'u-ko, And he straitly charged him, and forthwith sent him away;
neo' nulolita hi hema-hema napa to jadi' tohe'i-e. Hilou-moko ulu mpopehuwu woto-nu hi imam, bona nahilo kamo'uri' -numi, pai' keni pepue' -nu ntuku' parenta to te'uki' hi rala Atura Musa, bona monoa' hi hawe'ea tauna kamo'uri' -nu mpu'u-mi." And saith unto him, See thou say nothing to any man: but go thy way, shew thyself to the priest, and offer for thy cleansing those things which Moses commanded, for a testimony unto them.
Ntaa' we'i, kahilou-na tauna toei, ntora nalolita lau-mi hiapa-apa kanapaka'uri' -na Yesus. Alaa-na, Yesus uma-ipi bisa mesua' hi rala ngata apa' wori' rahi tauna mpotipuhi-i. Mo'oha' hi mali ngata-i-damo hi kawaoa' -na. Aga nau' wae, uma oa' ria kaputua-na tauna tumai ngkai wori' ngata doko' mpohirua' -ki. But he went out, and began to publish it much, and to blaze abroad the matter, insomuch that Jesus could no more openly enter into the city, but was without in desert places: and they came to him from every quarter.
