| 1 | Поправді Бог добрий Ізра́їлеві, Бог — для щиросе́рдих! | Give the king thy judgments, O God, and thy righteousness unto the king’s son. |
| 2 | А я, — мало не послизну́лися но́ги мої, мало не посковзну́лися сто́пи мої, | He shall judge thy people with righteousness, and thy poor with judgment. |
| 3 | бо лихим я зави́дував, бачивши спо́кій безбожних, — | The mountains shall bring peace to the people, and the little hills, by righteousness. |
| 4 | бо не мають стражда́ння до смерти своєї, і здорове їхнє тіло, | He shall judge the poor of the people, he shall save the children of the needy, and shall break in pieces the oppressor. |
| 5 | на лю́дській роботі нема їх, і ра́зом із іншими лю́дьми не зазнаю́ть вони вда́рів. | They shall fear thee as long as the sun and moon endure, throughout all generations. |
| 6 | Тому́ то пиха їхню шию оздо́блює, зодяга́є їх ша́та наси́лля, | He shall come down like rain upon the mown grass: as showers that water the earth. |
| 7 | вилазять їм очі від жи́ру, бажа́ння їхнього серця збули́ся, | In his days shall the righteous flourish; and abundance of peace so long as the moon endureth. |
| 8 | сміються й злосли́во говорять про у́тиск, говорять бундю́чно: | He shall have dominion also from sea to sea, and from the river unto the ends of the earth. |
| 9 | свої уста до неба підно́сять, — а їхній язик по землі походжа́є! | They that dwell in the wilderness shall bow before him; and his enemies shall lick the dust. |
| 10 | Тому́ то туди Його люди зверта́ються, і щедро беруть собі воду | The kings of Tarshish and of the isles shall bring presents: the kings of Sheba and Seba shall offer gifts. |
| 11 | та й кажуть: „Хіба́ Бог те знає, і чи має Всеви́шній відо́мість, | Yea, all kings shall fall down before him: all nations shall serve him. |
| 12 | як он ті безбожні й безпечні на світі збільши́ли бага́тство своє?“ | For he shall deliver the needy when he crieth; the poor also, and him that hath no helper. |
| 13 | Направду, нада́рмо очи́стив я серце своє, і в неви́нності вимив ру́ки свої, | He shall spare the poor and needy, and shall save the souls of the needy. |
| 14 | і ввесь день я побитий, і щора́нку пока́раний. | He shall redeem their soul from deceit and violence: and precious shall their blood be in his sight. |
| 15 | Коли б я сказав: „Буду так говори́ть, як вони“, то спроневі́рився б я поколі́нню синів Твоїх. | And he shall live, and to him shall be given of the gold of Sheba: prayer also shall be made for him continually; and daily shall he be praised. |
| 16 | І розду́мував я, щоб пізна́ти оте, — та трудне́ воно в о́чах моїх, | There shall be an handful of corn in the earth upon the top of the mountains; the fruit thereof shall shake like Lebanon: and they of the city shall flourish like grass of the earth. |
| 17 | аж прийшов я в Божу святиню, — і кінець їхній побачив: | His name shall endure for ever: his name shall be continued as long as the sun: and men shall be blessed in him: all nations shall call him blessed. |
| 18 | направду, — Ти їх на слизько́му поставив, на спусто́шення кинув Ти їх! | Blessed be the Lord God, the God of Israel, who only doeth wondrous things. |
| 19 | Як вони в одній хвилі спусто́шені, згинули, пощеза́ли від стра́хів! | And blessed be his glorious name for ever: and let the whole earth be filled with his glory; Amen, and Amen. |
| 20 | Немов сном по обу́дженні, Господи, о́бразом їхнім пого́рдиш, мов сном по обу́дженні! | The prayers of David the son of Jesse are ended. |
| 21 | Бо болить моє серце, і в нутрі́ моїм коле, | — |
| 22 | а я немов бидло й не знаю, — я перед Тобою худо́бою став! | — |
| 23 | Та я за́вжди з Тобою, — Ти де́ржиш мене за правицю, | — |
| 24 | Ти Своєю порадою во́диш мене, і пото́му до слави Ти ві́зьмеш мене! | — |
| 25 | Хто є мені на небеса́х, окрім Тебе? А я при Тобі на землі не бажаю нічо́го! | — |
| 26 | Гине тіло моє й моє серце, та Бог — скеля серця мого й моя доля навіки, | — |
| 27 | бо погинуть ось ті, хто боку́є від Тебе, пони́щиш Ти кожного, хто відсту́пить від Тебе! | — |
| 28 | А я, — бли́зькість Бога для мене добро́, — на Владику, на Господа свою певність складаю, щоб звіща́ти про всі Твої чи́ни! | — |
