| 1 | Над рі́чками Вавило́нськими, — там ми сиділи та й плакали, коли зга́дували про Сіо́на! | O give thanks unto the Lord; for he is good: for his mercy endureth for ever. |
| 2 | На ве́рбах у ньому повісили ми свої а́рфи, | O give thanks unto the God of gods: for his mercy endureth for ever. |
| 3 | спі́ву бо пісні від нас там жада́ли були́ понево́лювачі наші, а весе́лощів — наші мучи́телі: „Заспівайте но нам із Сіонських пісе́нь!“ | O give thanks to the Lord of lords: for his mercy endureth for ever. |
| 4 | Як же зможемо ми заспівати Господнюю пісню в землі чужинця́? | To him who alone doeth great wonders: for his mercy endureth for ever. |
