Namba wan mining bilong nem taim man i tanim em King bilong stretpela pasin, na bihain long dispela tu King bilong Selem, em i olsem, King bilong bel isi. | To whom also Abraham gave a tenth part of all; first being by interpretation King of righteousness, and after that also King of Salem, which is, King of peace; |

| 8 | Na hia ol man husat i dai i kisim ol namba ten hap. Tasol long dispela hap em i kisim ol, long husat i gat witnes long em i stap laip. | And here men that die receive tithes; but there he receiveth them, of whom it is witnessed that he liveth. |
| 9 | Na olsem mi ken tok olsem, Livai tu, husat i kisim namba ten hap, i baim namba ten hap insait long Ebraham. | And as I may so say, Levi also, who receiveth tithes, payed tithes in Abraham. |

| 11 | ¶ Olsem na sapos pasin bilong kamap inap tru i kam long wokpris bilong Livai, (long wanem, aninit long en ol manmeri i kisim lo,) i gat wanem nid moa long narapela pris i mas kirap i bihainim lain bilong Melkisedek, na ol i no kolim ol i bihainim lain bilong Eron? | If therefore perfection were by the Levitical priesthood, (for under it the people received the law,) what further need was there that another priest should rise after the order of Melchisedec, and not be called after the order of Aaron? |

| 15 | Na em i klia moa yet, long wanem, long bihainim samting i wankain bilong Melkisedek i gat narapela pris i kirap, | And it is yet far more evident: for that after the similitude of Melchisedec there ariseth another priest, |
| 16 | Husat i kamap, i no bihainim lo bilong strongpela tok bilong bodi sait, tasol i bihainim pawa bilong laip i no gat pinis bilong en. | Who is made, not after the law of a carnal commandment, but after the power of an endless life. |

Long dispela yumi wok long go klostu long God. | For the law made nothing perfect, but the bringing in of a better hope did; by the which we draw nigh unto God. |

Long wanem, dispela em i mekim wanpela taim, taim em i ofaim em yet. | Who needeth not daily, as those high priests, to offer up sacrifice, first for his own sins, and then for the people’s: for this he did once, when he offered up himself. |
