Long pes bilong dispela yupela i mas wokim kem arere long solwara. | Speak unto the children of Israel, that they turn and encamp before Pi–hahiroth, between Migdol and the sea, over against Baal–zephon: before it shall ye encamp by the sea. |
| 3 | Long wanem Fero bai tok long ol Isip long ol pikinini bilong Isrel olsem, ol i pas long graun, dispela ples i no gat man i pasim ol. | For Pharaoh will say of the children of Israel, They are entangled in the land, the wilderness hath shut them in. |
| 4 | Na bai Mi mekim bel bilong Fero i kamap olsem ston, bai em i bihainim ol, na bai Mi kisim biknem long Fero, na long olgeta bikpela ami bilong em, bai ol Isip i ken save long Mi stap BIKPELA. Na ol i mekim olsem. | And I will harden Pharaoh’s heart, that he shall follow after them; and I will be honoured upon Pharaoh, and upon all his host; that the Egyptians may know that I am the Lord. And they did so. |

Na bel bilong Fero na bilong ol wokboi bilong em i tanim na i birua long ol manmeri, na ol i tok, Bilong wanem yumi bin mekim dispela, long yumi bin larim Isrel i go long lusim pasin bilong mekim wok bilong yumi? | And it was told the king of Egypt that the people fled: and the heart of Pharaoh and of his servants was turned against the people, and they said, Why have we done this, that we have let Israel go from serving us? |
| 6 | Na king i redim karis bilong pait bilong em, na em i kisim ol manmeri bilong em i go wantaim em. | And he made ready his chariot, and took his people with him: |
| 7 | Na em i kisim 600 karis bilong pait em i makim, na olgeta karis bilong pait bilong Isip na ol kepten i bosim olgeta bilong ol wan wan. | And he took six hundred chosen chariots, and all the chariots of Egypt, and captains over every one of them. |
| 8 | Na BIKPELA i mekim bel bilong Fero, king bilong Isip, i kamap olsem ston, na em i go bilong ranim ol pikinini bilong Isrel. Na ol pikinini bilong Isrel i bin i go lusim Isip wantaim han bilong ol i stap antap. | And the Lord hardened the heart of Pharaoh king of Egypt, and he pursued after the children of Israel: and the children of Israel went out with an high hand. |
| 9 | Tasol ol Isip i go bilong ranim ol, em olgeta hos na karis bilong pait bilong Fero, na ol man bilong em i sindaun long hos, na ami bilong em, na ol Isip i bungim ol long kem i stap arere long solwara, klostu long Pi-hahirot, na long pes bilong Bal-sefon. | But the Egyptians pursued after them, all the horses and chariots of Pharaoh, and his horsemen, and his army, and overtook them encamping by the sea, beside Pi–hahiroth, before Baal–zephon. |
| 10 | ¶ Na taim Fero i kam klostu, ol pikinini bilong Isrel i litimapim ol ai bilong ol, na harim, ol Isip i kam bihain long ol. Na ol i pret nogut tru. Na ol pikinini bilong Isrel i singaut long BIKPELA. | And when Pharaoh drew nigh, the children of Israel lifted up their eyes, and, behold, the Egyptians marched after them; and they were sore afraid: and the children of Israel cried out unto the Lord. |
| 11 | Na ol i tok long Moses, Ating i no gat ol matmat i stap long Isip em i as bilong yu bin kisim mipela i go long i dai pinis long dispela ples i no gat man? Olsem wanem yu bin mekim olsem long mipela, long kisim mipela long lusim Isip? | And they said unto Moses, Because there were no graves in Egypt, hast thou taken us away to die in the wilderness? wherefore hast thou dealt thus with us, to carry us forth out of Egypt? |

Long wanem em i mobeta long mipela i mekim wok bilong ol Isip, long mipela i dai pinis long dispela ples i no gat man. | Is not this the word that we did tell thee in Egypt, saying, Let us alone, that we may serve the Egyptians? For it had been better for us to serve the Egyptians, than that we should die in the wilderness. |
| 13 | Na Moses i tok long ol manmeri, Yupela i no ken pret, sanap i stap na lukim dispela kisim bek bilong BIKPELA, Em bai soim dispela long yupela tude. Long wanem, ol Isip yupela i bin lukim tude, bai yupela i no lukim ol gen inap long oltaim oltaim. | And Moses said unto the people, Fear ye not, stand still, and see the salvation of the Lord, which he will shew to you to day: for the Egyptians whom ye have seen to day, ye shall see them again no more for ever. |
| 14 | BIKPELA bai pait long helpim yupela, na yupela bai pasim maus bilong yupela. | The Lord shall fight for you, and ye shall hold your peace. |
| 15 | ¶ Na BIKPELA i tok long Moses, Bilong wanem yu singaut long Mi? Tok long ol pikinini bilong Isrel, long ol i mas go het. | And the Lord said unto Moses, Wherefore criest thou unto me? speak unto the children of Israel, that they go forward: |
| 16 | Tasol yu mas litimapim stik bilong wokabaut bilong yu, na taitim han bilong yu antap long solwara na brukim dispela. Na ol pikinini bilong Isrel bai go long graun i drai long namel long dispela solwara. | But lift thou up thy rod, and stretch out thine hand over the sea, and divide it: and the children of Israel shall go on dry ground through the midst of the sea. |
| 17 | Na Mi, harim, Mi bai mekim bel bilong ol Isip i kamap olsem ston, na ol bai bihainim ol. Na bai Mi kisim biknem long Fero na long olgeta ami bilong em, na long ol karis bilong pait bilong em, na long ol man bilong em i sindaun long ol hos. | And I, behold, I will harden the hearts of the Egyptians, and they shall follow them: and I will get me honour upon Pharaoh, and upon all his host, upon his chariots, and upon his horsemen. |
| 18 | Na ol Isip bai save long Mi stap BIKPELA, long taim Mi kisim biknem long Fero, na long ol karis bilong pait bilong em, na long ol man bilong em i sindaun long ol hos. | And the Egyptians shall know that I am the Lord, when I have gotten me honour upon Pharaoh, upon his chariots, and upon his horsemen. |
| 19 | Na ensel bilong God, husat i bin i go paslain long kem bilong Isrel, em i go na go baksait long ol, na dispela klaut i stap antap em i lusim pes bilong ol, na dispela i sanap long baksait bilong ol. | And the angel of God, which went before the camp of Israel, removed and went behind them; and the pillar of the cloud went from before their face, and stood behind them: |
| 20 | Na dispela i kam namel long kem bilong ol Isip na kem bilong Isrel. Na dispela i klaut na tudak long ol Isip, tasol dispela i givim lait long nait long ol Isrel, olsem wanpela lain i no kam klostu arapela lain olgeta taim long nait. | And it came between the camp of the Egyptians and the camp of Israel; and it was a cloud and darkness to them, but it gave light by night to these: so that the one came not near the other all the night. |
| 21 | ¶ Na Moses i taitim han bilong em antap long solwara. Na BIKPELA i mekim solwara i go bek long wanpela strongpela win i kam long hap sankamap olgeta taim bilong nait, na dispela i mekim solwara i kamap graun i drai na ol wara i bruk. | And Moses stretched out his hand over the sea; and the Lord caused the sea to go back by a strong east wind all that night, and made the sea dry land, and the waters were divided. |
| 22 | Na ol pikinini bilong Isrel i go namel long solwara long graun i drai, na ol wara i stap wanpela banis long ol long han sut bilong ol na long han kais bilong ol. | And the children of Israel went into the midst of the sea upon the dry ground: and the waters were a wall unto them on their right hand, and on their left. |
| 23 | Na ol Isip i laik ranim ol na ol i go bihain long ol Isrel long namel long solwara, yes em olgeta hos bilong Fero, na ol karis bilong pait bilong em, na ol man bilong em i sindaun long ol hos. | And the Egyptians pursued, and went in after them to the midst of the sea, even all Pharaoh’s horses, his chariots, and his horsemen. |
| 24 | Na em i kamap olsem, long was bilong moning BIKPELA i lukluk long ami bilong ol Isip hapsait long paia na klaut i stap antap tru, na Em i givim hevi long ami bilong ol Isip. | And it came to pass, that in the morning watch the Lord looked unto the host of the Egyptians through the pillar of fire and of the cloud, and troubled the host of the Egyptians, |
| 25 | Na Em i rausim ol wil bilong ol karis bilong pait bilong ol, inap long em i hat long ol i ken kirapim ol i go. Olsem na ol Isip i tok, Larim yumi ranawe long pes bilong Isrel, long wanem BIKPELA i pait long helpim ol long birua long ol Isip. | And took off their chariot wheels, that they drave them heavily: so that the Egyptians said, Let us flee from the face of Israel; for the Lord fighteth for them against the Egyptians. |
| 26 | Na BIKPELA i tok long Moses, Taitim han bilong yu antap long solwara, bai ol wara i ken kam gen long ol Isip, em long ol karis bilong pait bilong ol na long ol man bilong ol i sindaun long ol hos. | And the Lord said unto Moses, Stretch out thine hand over the sea, that the waters may come again upon the Egyptians, upon their chariots, and upon their horsemen. |
| 27 | Na Moses i taitim han bilong em antap long solwara, na solwara i kam bek long strong bilong em long taim moning i kamap. Na ol Isip i laik ranawe long dispela. Na BIKPELA i winim ol Isip long namel bilong dispela solwara. | And Moses stretched forth his hand over the sea, and the sea returned to his strength when the morning appeared; and the Egyptians fled against it; and the Lord overthrew the Egyptians in the midst of the sea. |
| 28 | Na ol wara i kam bek na karamapim ol karis bilong pait na ol man i sindaun long ol hos, na olgeta ami bilong Fero, ol i bin kam long solwara bilong bihainim ol Isrel. I no gat wanpela bilong ol i stap laip yet. | And the waters returned, and covered the chariots, and the horsemen, and all the host of Pharaoh that came into the sea after them; there remained not so much as one of them. |

Na ol wara i stap banis long ol long han sut bilong ol na long han kais bilong ol. | But the children of Israel walked upon dry land in the midst of the sea; and the waters were a wall unto them on their right hand, and on their left. |
| 30 | Long dispela pasin BIKPELA i kisim bek Isrel long dispela de long han bilong ol Isip. Na Isrel i lukim ol Isip i stap daiman long nambis bilong solwara. | Thus the Lord saved Israel that day out of the hand of the Egyptians; and Israel saw the Egyptians dead upon the sea shore. |

Na ol manmeri i pret long BIKPELA, na ol i bilipim BIKPELA, na wokboi bilong Em, Moses. | And Israel saw that great work which the Lord did upon the Egyptians: and the people feared the Lord, and believed the Lord, and his servant Moses. |
