| 2 | Na long yu ken tokaut long ia bilong pikinini man bilong yu na tu long ia bilong pikinini man bilong pikinini man bilong yu, long wanem samting Mi bin mekim long Isip, na ol mak bilong Mi, Mi bin mekim namel long ol, bai yupela ken save long Mi stap BIKPELA. | And that thou mayest tell in the ears of thy son, and of thy son’s son, what things I have wrought in Egypt, and my signs which I have done among them; that ye may know how that I am the Lord. |

Larim ol manmeri bilong Mi i go, bai ol i ken mekim wok bilong Mi. | And Moses and Aaron came in unto Pharaoh, and said unto him, Thus saith the Lord God of the Hebrews, How long wilt thou refuse to humble thyself before me? let my people go, that they may serve me. |

| 5 | Na ol bai karamapim pes bilong dispela graun, bai wanpela i no inap lukim graun. Na ol bai kaikai ol dispela samting i stap yet, na ol i stap yet long yupela long dispela ren ais. Na ol bai kaikai olgeta diwai wan wan i bilong yupela na i kamap bikpela long ol ples i op. | And they shall cover the face of the earth, that one cannot be able to see the earth: and they shall eat the residue of that which is escaped, which remaineth unto you from the hail, and shall eat every tree which groweth for you out of the field: |
| 6 | Na ol bai pulapim ol haus bilong yu, na ol haus bilong olgeta wokboi bilong yu, na ol haus bilong olgeta lain Isip. Ol papa bilong yu na ol tumbuna papa bilong yu i no bin lukim dispela kain samting long taim ol i bin i stap long dispela graun inap long tude. Na em i tanim em yet na i go long lusim Fero. | And they shall fill thy houses, and the houses of all thy servants, and the houses of all the Egyptians; which neither thy fathers, nor thy fathers’ fathers have seen, since the day that they were upon the earth unto this day. And he turned himself, and went out from Pharaoh. |

Ating yu no save yet long Isip i bagarap olgeta? | And Pharaoh’s servants said unto him, How long shall this man be a snare unto us? let the men go, that they may serve the Lord their God: knowest thou not yet that Egypt is destroyed? |

Na tu bai mipela i go wantaim ol sipsip samting bilong mipela, na wantaim ol bulmakau samting bilong mipela, long wanem mipela i mas wokim wanpela bikpela kaikai i go long BIKPELA | And Moses said, We will go with our young and with our old, with our sons and with our daughters, with our flocks and with our herds will we go; for we must hold a feast unto the Lord. |

Lukluk long dispela, long wanem samting nogut i stap long pes bilong yupela. | And he said unto them, Let the Lord be so with you, as I will let you go, and your little ones: look to it; for evil is before you. |
| 11 | I no olsem. Go nau yupela ol man, na mekim wok bilong BIKPELA, long wanem yupela i gat laik long mekim dispela. Na ol i rausim tupela long lusim pes bilong Fero. | Not so: go now ye that are men, and serve the Lord; for that ye did desire. And they were driven out from Pharaoh’s presence. |
| 12 | ¶ Na BIKPELA i tok long Moses, Taitim han bilong yu i go long graun bilong Isip long ol grasop, bai ol i ken kamap long graun bilong Isip, na kaikai olgeta sayor wan wan bilong dispela hap graun, yes olgeta samting ren ais i bin larim i stap yet. | And the Lord said unto Moses, Stretch out thine hand over the land of Egypt for the locusts, that they may come up upon the land of Egypt, and eat every herb of the land, even all that the hail hath left. |

Na taim moningtaim i kamap, dispela win long hap sankamap i bringim ol grasop. | And Moses stretched forth his rod over the land of Egypt, and the Lord brought an east wind upon the land all that day, and all that night; and when it was morning, the east wind brought the locusts. |
| 14 | Na ol grasop i go long olgeta hap graun bilong Isip. Na ol i stap long graun long olgeta hap bilong ol arere bilong Isip. Ol i givim bikpela hevi long ol. Pastaim i no gat ol grasop olsem ol, na tu i no gat dispela kain bai i stap bihain long ol. | And the locusts went up over all the land of Egypt, and rested in all the coasts of Egypt: very grievous were they; before them there were no such locusts as they, neither after them shall be such. |

Na ol i kaikai olgeta sayor samting wan wan bilong dispela hap graun, wantaim olgeta prut bilong ol diwai ren ais i bin larim i stap yet. Na i no gat wanpela grinpela samting i stap yet long ol diwai, o long ol sayor samting bilong ol ples op long olgeta graun bilong Isip. | For they covered the face of the whole earth, so that the land was darkened; and they did eat every herb of the land, and all the fruit of the trees which the hail had left: and there remained not any green thing in the trees, or in the herbs of the field, through all the land of Egypt. |

| 18 | Na em i go ausait long lusim Fero, na em i askim strong long BIKPELA. | And he went out from Pharaoh, and intreated the Lord. |
| 19 | Na BIKPELA i tanim bikpela win i kamap strong long hap sandaun. Na dispela i tekewe ol grasop na tromoi ol long Retsi. Na i no gat wanpela grasop i stap yet insait long olgeta arere bilong graun bilong Isip. | And the Lord turned a mighty strong west wind, which took away the locusts, and cast them into the Red sea; there remained not one locust in all the coasts of Egypt. |
| 20 | Tasol BIKPELA i mekim bel bilong Fero i kamap olsem ston, olsem na em i no laik larim ol pikinini bilong Isrel i go. | But the Lord hardened Pharaoh’s heart, so that he would not let the children of Israel go. |
| 21 | ¶ Na BIKPELA i tok long Moses, Taitim han bilong yu i go long heven, bai tudak i ken i stap long graun bilong Isip, yes em tudak ol i ken pilim. | And the Lord said unto Moses, Stretch out thine hand toward heaven, that there may be darkness over the land of Egypt, even darkness which may be felt. |
| 22 | Na Moses i taitim han bilong em i go long heven. Na strongpela tudak i kamap tripela de long olgeta graun bilong Isip. | And Moses stretched forth his hand toward heaven; and there was a thick darkness in all the land of Egypt three days: |

Tasol olgeta pikinini bilong Isrel i gat lait long haus bilong ol. | They saw not one another, neither rose any from his place for three days: but all the children of Israel had light in their dwellings. |
| 24 | Na Fero i singaut long Moses na tok, Yupela go na mekim wok bilong BIKPELA. Tasol larim ol sipsip samting bilong yupela na ol bulmakau samting bilong yupela i stap yet. Na tu mi larim ol liklik pikinini i go wantaim yupela. | And Pharaoh called unto Moses, and said, Go ye, serve the Lord; only let your flocks and your herds be stayed: let your little ones also go with you. |
| 25 | Na Moses i tok, Yu mas givim mipela tu ol sakrifais na ol ofa i kuk olgeta, bai mipela ken mekim sakrifais i go long BIKPELA, em God bilong mipela. | And Moses said, Thou must give us also sacrifices and burnt offerings, that we may sacrifice unto the Lord our God. |

Long wanem mipela i mas yusim ol long mekim wok bilong BIKPELA, em God bilong mipela. Na mipela i no save long wanem samting bai mipela i mekim wok bilong BIKPELA inap long mipela i kam long dispela hap. | Our cattle also shall go with us; there shall not an hoof be left behind; for thereof must we take to serve the Lord our God; and we know not with what we must serve the Lord, until we come thither. |
| 27 | Tasol BIKPELA i mekim bel bilong Fero i kamap olsem ston, na em i no laik larim ol i go. | But the Lord hardened Pharaoh’s heart, and he would not let them go. |
| 28 | Na Fero i tok long em, Yu mas lusim mi, na was gut long yu yet. Yu no ken lukim pes bilong mi moa. Long wanem long de yu lukim pes bilong mi, bai yu dai pinis. | And Pharaoh said unto him, Get thee from me, take heed to thyself, see my face no more; for in that day thou seest my face thou shalt die. |
| 29 | Na Moses i tok, Yu bin toktok stret. Bai mi no lukim pes bilong yu moa. | And Moses said, Thou hast spoken well, I will see thy face again no more. |
