1 ¶ Nau gen Ebraham i kisim wanpela meri, na nem bilong en em Ketura. Then again Abraham took a wife, and her name was Keturah.
2 Na em i karim long em Simran, na Joksan, na Medan, na Midian, na Isbak, na Sua. And she bare him Zimran, and Jokshan, and Medan, and Midian, and Ishbak, and Shuah.
3 Na Joksan i kamapim Siba, na Dedan. Na ol pikinini man bilong Dedan em Asurim, na Letusim, na Leumim. And Jokshan begat Sheba, and Dedan. And the sons of Dedan were Asshurim, and Letushim, and Leummim.
4 Na ol pikinini man bilong Midian, Ifa na Efer, na Hanok, na Abida, na Eldea. Olgeta dispela em ol pikinini bilong Ketura. And the sons of Midian; Ephah, and Epher, and Hanoch, and Abida, and Eldaah. All these were the children of Keturah.

But unto the sons of the concubines, which Abraham had, Abraham gave gifts, and sent them away from Isaac his son, while he yet lived, eastward, unto the east country.
7 Na ol dispela em ol de bilong ol yia bilong laip bilong Ebraham, dispela em i stap laip, 175 yia. And these are the days of the years of Abraham’s life which he lived, an hundred threescore and fifteen years.

10 Dispela ples kunai Ebraham i baim long ol pikinini man bilong Het. Long dispela hap ol i planim Ebraham. na Sara, meri bilong em. The field which Abraham purchased of the sons of Heth: there was Abraham buried, and Sarah his wife.
11 ¶ Na em i kamap olsem bihain long dai bilong Ebraham, long God i blesim pikinini man bilong em Aisak. Na Aisak i stap klostu long hul wara Lahairoi. And it came to pass after the death of Abraham, that God blessed his son Isaac; and Isaac dwelt by the well Lahai–roi.
12 Nau ol dispela em ol lain tumbuna bilong Ismael, pikinini man bilong Ebraham, husat meri Isip Hegar, wokmeri bilong Sara, i karim long Ebraham. Now these are the generations of Ishmael, Abraham’s son, whom Hagar the Egyptian, Sarah’s handmaid, bare unto Abraham:
13 Na ol dispela em ol nem bilong ol pikinini man bilong Ismel, long ol nem bilong ol, bilong bihainim ol lain tumbuna bilong ol. Namba wan pikinini bilong Ismael, Nebasot. Na Kedar, na Apdel, na Mipsam, And these are the names of the sons of Ishmael, by their names, according to their generations: the firstborn of Ishmael, Nebajoth; and Kedar, and Adbeel, and Mibsam,
14 Na Misma, na Duma, na Masa, And Mishma, and Dumah, and Massa,
15 Hadar, na Tema, Jetur, Nafis, na Kedema. Hadar, and Tema, Jetur, Naphish, and Kedemah:
16 Ol dispela em ol pikinini man bilong Ismael, na ol dispela em ol nem bilong ol, long ol taun bilong ol, na long ol strongpela haus soldia bilong ol, 12-pela hetman bilong bihainim ol kantri bilong ol. These are the sons of Ishmael, and these are their names, by their towns, and by their castles; twelve princes according to their nations.
17 Na ol dispela em ol yia bilong laip bilong Ismael, 137 yia. Na em i lusim spirit bilong em na dai. Na em i go bungim ol lain bilong em. And these are the years of the life of Ishmael, an hundred and thirty and seven years: and he gave up the ghost and died; and was gathered unto his people.

And they dwelt from Havilah unto Shur, that is before Egypt, as thou goest toward Assyria: and he died in the presence of all his brethren.
19 ¶ Na ol dispela em ol lain tumbuna bilong Aisak, pikinini man bilong Ebraham. Ebraham i kamapim Aisak. And these are the generations of Isaac, Abraham’s son: Abraham begat Isaac:
20 Na Aisak i gat 40-pela krismas taim em i kisim Rebeka long maritim, pikinini meri bilong man Siria Betyuel bilong Padan-aram, susa bilong man Siria Leban. And Isaac was forty years old when he took Rebekah to wife, the daughter of Bethuel the Syrian of Padan–aram, the sister to Laban the Syrian.
21 Na Aisak i mekim strongpela askim long BIKPELA long sait bilong meri bilong em, bilong wanem, em i no inap long karim. Na BIKPELA i harim strongpela askim bilong em, na Rebeka, meri bilong em, i kisim bel. And Isaac intreated the Lord for his wife, because she was barren: and the Lord was intreated of him, and Rebekah his wife conceived.

And the Lord said unto her, Two nations are in thy womb, and two manner of people shall be separated from thy bowels; and the one people shall be stronger than the other people; and the elder shall serve the younger.
24 Na taim ol de bilong karim pikinini bilong em i kamap inap pinis, lukim, i gat twins i stap insait long bel bilong em. And when her days to be delivered were fulfilled, behold, there were twins in her womb.
25 Na namba wan i kamaut retpela, olgeta hap bodi i olsem wanpela klos i gat planti gras bilong man. Na ol i kolim nem bilong em Iso. And the first came out red, all over like an hairy garment; and they called his name Esau.
26 Na bihain long dispela brata bilong em i kamaut, na han bilong em i holimpas baksait bilong fut bilong Iso. Na ol i kolim nem bilong em Jekop. Na Aisak i gat 60 krismas, taim Rebeka i karim tupela. And after that came his brother out, and his hand took hold on Esau’s heel; and his name was called Jacob: and Isaac was threescore years old when she bare them.
27 Na tupela pikinini man i go bikpela. Na Iso em i gat save stret long painim abus, wanpela man bilong ples kunai. Na Jekop i man i no gat namba, taim em stap long ol haus sel. And the boys grew: and Esau was a cunning hunter, a man of the field; and Jacob was a plain man, dwelling in tents.
28 Na Aisak i laikim tru Iso, bilong wanem, em i bin kaikai long abus bilong wail animal bilong em. Tasol Rebeka i laikim tru Jekop. And Isaac loved Esau, because he did eat of his venison: but Rebekah loved Jacob.
29 ¶ Na Jekop i boilim sup. Na Iso i kam long ples kunai, na em i hap i dai. And Jacob sod pottage: and Esau came from the field, and he was faint:
30 Na Iso i tokim Jekop, Givim kaikai long mi, mi askim yu plis, wantaim dispela retpela sup stret. Long wanem, mi hap i dai. Olsem na ol i kolim nem bilong em Idom. And Esau said to Jacob, Feed me, I pray thee, with that same red pottage; for I am faint: therefore was his name called Edom.
31 Na Jekop i tok, Salim long mi tude rait bilong yu bilong namba wan pikinini. And Jacob said, Sell me this day thy birthright.
32 Na Iso i tok, Lukim, mi stap klostu tru long dai. Na dispela rait bilong namba wan pikinini bai helpim mi olsem wanem? And Esau said, Behold, I am at the point to die: and what profit shall this birthright do to me?
33 Na Jekop i tok, Wokim strongpela promis long mi tude. Na em i wokim strongpela promis long em. Na em i salim long Jekop rait bilong em bilong namba wan pikinini. And Jacob said, Swear to me this day; and he sware unto him: and he sold his birthright unto Jacob.
34 Na Jekop i givim Iso bret na sup bilong ol lentel. Na em i bin kaikai na dring, na kirap, na go long rot bilong em. Olsem tasol Iso i tingim rait bilong em bilong namba wan pikinini em i samting nating. Then Jacob gave Esau bread and pottage of lentiles; and he did eat and drink, and rose up, and went his way: thus Esau despised his birthright.
