절King Jems Pisin BaibelKing James Version
¶ Holim tingting nau long Man i kamapim yu long nating long ol de yu stap yangpela, taim ol de nogut i no kamap, o ol yia i no wok long kam klostu, taim yu bai tok, Mi no gat amamas insait long ol, Remember now thy Creator in the days of thy youth, while the evil days come not, nor the years draw nigh, when thou shalt say, I have no pleasure in them;
Taim san, o lait, o mun, o ol sta, i no stap tudak, o ol klaut i no kam bek bihain long ren, While the sun, or the light, or the moon, or the stars, be not darkened, nor the clouds return after the rain:
Long dispela de, taim ol wasman bilong haus bai guria, na ol strongpela man bai lindaunim ol yet, na ol lain bilong krungutim wit bai pinis, bilong wanem, ol i no planti, na ol dispela husat i lukluk i go ausait long ol windo bai stap tudak, In the day when the keepers of the house shall tremble, and the strong men shall bow themselves, and the grinders cease because they are few, and those that look out of the windows be darkened,
Na ol dua bai pas long ol rot, taim nois bilong krungutim wit i daunbilo, na em bai kirap long nek bilong pisin, na olgeta pikinini meri bilong musik bai ol i bringim i kam daun, And the doors shall be shut in the streets, when the sound of the grinding is low, and he shall rise up at the voice of the bird, and all the daughters of musick shall be brought low;
Na tu taim ol bai pret long dispela samting i stap antap, na ol pasin pret bai stap long rot, na ol diwai almon bai go gutpela tru, na ol grasop bai stap wanpela hevi, na olgeta laik bai fel, bilong wanem, man i go long longtaim haus bilong em, na ol lain bilong soim sori bai go nabaut long ol rot, Also when they shall be afraid of that which is high, and fears shall be in the way, and the almond tree shall flourish, and the grasshopper shall be a burden, and desire shall fail: because man goeth to his long home, and the mourners go about the streets:
O bipo long rop silva i go lus, o dis gol i bruk pinis, o jak bai bruk pinis long ai bilong wara i sut, o wil i bruk pinis long tang wara. Or ever the silver cord be loosed, or the golden bowl be broken, or the pitcher be broken at the fountain, or the wheel broken at the cistern.
Nau bai das i go bek long graun olsem em i stap bipo. Na spirit bai go bek long God, husat i givim dispela. Then shall the dust return to the earth as it was: and the spirit shall return unto God who gave it.
¶ Samting nating bilong ol samting nating, man bilong autim tok i tok. Olgeta samting em i samting nating. Vanity of vanities, saith the preacher; all is vanity.
Na moa tu, bikos man bilong autim tok em i saveman, em i skulim ol manmeri yet long save. Yes, em i tingting gut, na painimaut, na putim long lain planti provep. And moreover, because the preacher was wise, he still taught the people knowledge; yea, he gave good heed, and sought out, and set in order many proverbs.
Man bilong autim tok i painim rot bilong painim ol toktok i orait. Na dispela samting ol i raitim em i stretpela, yes, ol toktok i tru. The preacher sought to find out acceptable words: and that which was written was upright, even words of truth.
Ol toktok bilong ol saveman i stap olsem ol ain bilong hariapim animal, na olsem ol nil i pas strong long wok bilong han bilong ol bosman bilong bungim samting, dispela i kam long wanpela wasman bilong sipsip. The words of the wise are as goads, and as nails fastened by the masters of assemblies, which are given from one shepherd.
Na moa, long ol dispela, pikinini man bilong mi, kisim strongpela skul. Long wokim planti buk i no gat pinis bilong en. Na taim man i stadi planti, dispela i mekim bodi i les tru. And further, by these, my son, be admonished: of making many books there is no end; and much study is a weariness of the flesh.
¶ Larim yumi harim pinis bilong ol dispela samting olgeta. Pret long God, na holimpas ol tok strong bilong Em. Long wanem, dispela em i wok stret olgeta bilong man. Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep his commandments: for this is the whole duty of man.
Long wanem, God bai bringim olgeta wan wan wok long kot, wantaim olgeta wan wan samting hait, sapos em i gutpela, o sapos em i nogut. For God shall bring every work into judgment, with every secret thing, whether it be good, or whether it be evil.
