¶ Na em i bin kamap long ol de bilong Ehas, pikinini man bilong Jotam, em pikinini man bilong Usaia, king bilong Juda olsem, Resen, King bilong Siria na Peka, pikinini man bilong Remalaia, king bilong Isrel, ol i bin go antap na go long Jerusalem long kirapim bikpela pait i birua long em. Tasol ol i no inap winim em. | And it came to pass in the days of Ahaz the son of Jotham, the son of Uzziah, king of Judah, that Rezin the king of Syria, and Pekah the son of Remaliah, king of Israel, went up toward Jerusalem to war against it, but could not prevail against it.
Na ol i bin tokim hauslain bilong Devit na spik, Siria i bung poroman wantaim Ifraim. Na bel bilong Ehas i seksek na bel bilong ol manmeri bilong em i seksek tu, olsem ol diwai bilong bus i seksek long win. | And it was told the house of David, saying, Syria is confederate with Ephraim. And his heart was moved, and the heart of his people, as the trees of the wood are moved with the wind.
Long dispela taim BIKPELA i tokim Aisea olsem, Yu na pikinini man bilong yu, Sear-jasup, yutupela mas i go nau na bungim Ehas long arere bilong wara i go long liklik raunwara i antap i stap long bikpela rot i go long graun bilong man i mekim laplap i kamap waitpela. | Then said the Lord unto Isaiah, Go forth now to meet Ahaz, thou, and Shear–jashub thy son, at the end of the conduit of the upper pool in the highway of the fuller’s field;
Na yu mas tok long em olsem, Harim gut na stap isi. Yu no ken pret na bel bilong yu i no ken hap i dai long dispela tupela hap diwai i mekim planti smok, em bikpela belhat bilong Resen wantaim Siria na bilong pikinini man bilong Remalaia. | And say unto him, Take heed, and be quiet; fear not, neither be fainthearted for the two tails of these smoking firebrands, for the fierce anger of Rezin with Syria, and of the son of Remaliah.
Long wanem Siria na Ifraim na pikinini man bilong Remalaia i bin kisim tok helpim nogut i birua long yu. Ol i tok, | Because Syria, Ephraim, and the son of Remaliah, have taken evil counsel against thee, saying,
Larim yumi go antap na birua long Juda na givim hevi long em. Na larim yumi brukim em bilong helpim yumi. Na makim wanpela king namel long em, yes em pikinini man bilong Tabeal. | Let us go up against Judah, and vex it, and let us make a breach therein for us, and set a king in the midst of it, even the son of Tabeal:
GOD Bikpela i tok olsem, Dispela tok i no inap sanap strong, na tu em i no inap kamap olsem. | Thus saith the Lord God, It shall not stand, neither shall it come to pass.
Long wanem het bilong Siria em Damaskas, na het bilong Damaskas em Resen, na insait long 65-pela yia Ifraim bai bruk na bai em i no stap wanpela lain manmeri moa. | For the head of Syria is Damascus, and the head of Damascus is Rezin; and within threescore and five years shall Ephraim be broken, that it be not a people.
Na het bilong Ifraim em Samaria, na het bilong Samaria em pikinini man bilong Remalaia. Sapos yupela i no laik bilip, tru tumas bai yupela i no stap strongpela. | And the head of Ephraim is Samaria, and the head of Samaria is Remaliah’s son. If ye will not believe, surely ye shall not be established.
¶ Na moa tu BIKPELA i tokim Ehas gen na spik, | Moreover the Lord spake again unto Ahaz, saying,
Yu mas askim wanpela mak i ken kam long BIKPELA, God bilong yu. Yu ken askim dispela i kamap long ples i daunbilo tru o long ples i antap tru. | Ask thee a sign of the Lord thy God; ask it either in the depth, or in the height above.
Tasol Ehas i tok, Bai mi no askim, na tu bai mi no traim BIKPELA. | But Ahaz said, I will not ask, neither will I tempt the Lord.
Na Aisea i tok, harim nau o,yupela lain bilong Devit. Ating em i liklik samting long yupela i mekim ol man i les, tasol bai yupela i mekim God bilong mi i les tu? | And he said, Hear ye now, O house of David; Is it a small thing for you to weary men, but will ye weary my God also?
Olsem na Bikpela yet bai givim wanpela mak long yupela. Harim, wanpela meri i no bin slip wantaim man bai kisim bel na karim wanpela pikinini man na em bai kolim nem bilong em Imanyuel. | Therefore the Lord himself shall give you a sign; Behold, a virgin shall conceive, and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel.

¶ BIKPELA bai bringim i kam long yu, na long ol manmeri bilong yu, na long lain bilong papa bilong yu, ol de i no bin kamap, long de Ifraim i bin lusim Juda inap long dispela de. Yes em king bilong Asiria. | The Lord shall bring upon thee, and upon thy people, and upon thy father’s house, days that have not come, from the day that Ephraim departed from Judah; even the king of Assyria.
Na em bai kamap long dispela de olsem, BIKPELA bai singaut bilong kisim i kam ol lang i stap arere tru long ol wara riva bilong Isip. Na Em bai singaut bilong kisim i kam ol ninik i stap long graun bilong Asiria. | And it shall come to pass in that day, that the Lord shall hiss for the fly that is in the uttermost part of the rivers of Egypt, and for the bee that is in the land of Assyria.
Na bai ol i kam, na olgeta bilong ol bai malolo long ol ples daunbilo i stap nating, na long ol hul i stap long ol bikpela ston, na antap long olgeta rop i gat nil na antap long olgeta liklik diwai. | And they shall come, and shall rest all of them in the desolate valleys, and in the holes of the rocks, and upon all thorns, and upon all bushes.
Long dispela de Bikpela bai rausim gras wantaim wanpela man bilong yusim resa wanpela i bin baim em. Em lain i stap hapsait long wara riva na king bilong Asiria bai baim ol. Ol bai rausim ol gras bilong het na gras bilong ol lek na dispela lain bai bagarapim olgeta bilong mausgras tu. | In the same day shall the Lord shave with a razor that is hired, namely, by them beyond the river, by the king of Assyria, the head, and the hair of the feet: and it shall also consume the beard.
Na em bai kamap long dispela de olsem, wanpela man bai lukautim wanpela yangpela bulmakau meri na tupela sipsip. | And it shall come to pass in that day, that a man shall nourish a young cow, and two sheep;

Long wanem olgeta wan wan man na meri i stap yet long dispela hap graun bai kaikai bata na hani. | And it shall come to pass, for the abundance of milk that they shall give he shall eat butter: for butter and honey shall every one eat that is left in the land. |

Tasol em bai stap bilong salim ol bulmakau man i go na bilong ol meme samting i ken wokabaut. | And on all hills that shall be digged with the mattock, there shall not come thither the fear of briers and thorns: but it shall be for the sending forth of oxen, and for the treading of lesser cattle. |
