¶ Harim gut tok bilong Mi yupela lain i bihainim stretpela pasin, yupela lain i wok long painim BIKPELA. Lukluk i go long dispela bikpela ston wanpela i bin katim yupela long em, na long dispela bikpela hul wanpela i bin kamautim yupela long em. | Hearken to me, ye that follow after righteousness, ye that seek the Lord: look unto the rock whence ye are hewn, and to the hole of the pit whence ye are digged.
Lukluk i go long Ebraham, papa bilong yupela, na long Sera, meri i karim yupela. Long wanem Mi bin singautim em wanpela tasol, na blesim em na mekim em i kamap bikpela lain. | Look unto Abraham your father, and unto Sarah that bare you: for I called him alone, and blessed him, and increased him.
Long wanem BIKPELA bai givim bel isi long Saion. Em bai givim bel isi long olgeta hap bilong em i bagarap. | For the Lord shall comfort Zion: he will comfort all her waste places; and he will make her wilderness like Eden, and her desert like the garden of the Lord; joy and gladness shall be found therein, thanksgiving, and the voice of melody.
¶ Harim gut tok bilong Mi, ol manmeri bilong Mi, na kisim save long ia i go long Mi, O kantri bilong Mi. Long wanem wanpela lo bai lusim Mi na kam, na bai Mi mekim stretpela kot bilong Mi i stap isi bilong i stap wanpela lait bilong dispela manmeri. | Hearken unto me, my people; and give ear unto me, O my nation: for a law shall proceed from me, and I will make my judgment to rest for a light of the people.
Stretpela pasin bilong Mi i stap klostu, na kisim bek bilong Mi i bin go long yupela, na tupela han bilong Mi bai jasim ol dispela manmeri. Ol ailan bai wet long Mi, na ol bai putim bilip long han bilong Mi. | My righteousness is near; my salvation is gone forth, and mine arms shall judge the people; the isles shall wait upon me, and on mine arm shall they trust.
Litimapim ol ai bilong yupela i go long ol heven, na lukluk long dispela graun i stap aninit. Long wanem ol heven bai go pinis olsem smok, na dispela graun bai kamap olpela olsem klos, na ol lain i stap long em bai dai pinis long wankain pasin. Tasol kisim bek bilong Mi bai stap oltaim oltaim, na bai stretpela pasin bilong Mi i no pinis. | Lift up your eyes to the heavens, and look upon the earth beneath: for the heavens shall vanish away like smoke, and the earth shall wax old like a garment, and they that dwell therein shall die in like manner: but my salvation shall be for ever, and my righteousness shall not be abolished.
Harim gut tok bilong Mi, yupela lain i save long stretpela pasin, em dispela manmeri lo bilong Mi i stap long bel bilong ol. Yupela i no ken pret long hatim bilong ol man, na tu yupela i no ken pret long ol tok bilong ol long daunim yupela. | Hearken unto me, ye that know righteousness, the people in whose heart is my law; fear ye not the reproach of men, neither be ye afraid of their revilings.
Long wanem bataplai bai kaikai ol olsem klos, na liklik snek bai kaikai ol olsem gras bilong sipsip. Tasol stretpela pasin bilong Mi bai stap oltaim oltaim, na kisim bek bilong Mi bai go long wanpela lain na i go long lain pikinini na i go i go. | For the moth shall eat them up like a garment, and the worm shall eat them like wool: but my righteousness shall be for ever, and my salvation from generation to generation.
¶ Kirap, kirap, kisim strong, O han bilong BIKPELA. Kirap, olsem long ol de bilong bipo, long ol lain i bin stap paslain. Ating yu no stap dispela wanpela i bin katim Rehap, na givim sua long dispela dragon? | Awake, awake, put on strength, O arm of the Lord; awake, as in the ancient days, in the generations of old. Art thou not it that hath cut Rahab, and wounded the dragon?
Ating yu no dispela wanpela i bin mekim solwara i kamap drai, em ol wara bilong ples i daunbilo tru, na yu mekim ol ples daunbilo long solwara i kamap wanpela rot bai ol manmeri yu bin baim bek i ken brukim dispela? | Art thou not it which hath dried the sea, the waters of the great deep; that hath made the depths of the sea a way for the ransomed to pass over?
Olsem na lain BIKPELA i bin baim bek bai kam bek, na kam long Saion wantaim ol song, na amamas tru i stap oltaim oltaim bai stap long het bilong ol. Ol bai kisim belgut na amamas tru, na bel hevi na krai sori bai ranawe. | Therefore the redeemed of the Lord shall return, and come with singing unto Zion; and everlasting joy shall be upon their head: they shall obtain gladness and joy; and sorrow and mourning shall flee away.
Mi, yes Mi, stap man i givim bel isi long yupela. Yu husat, na yu mas i stap pret long man i bai dai pinis, na long pikinini man bilong man husat bai stap olsem gras, | I, even I, am he that comforteth you: who art thou, that thou shouldest be afraid of a man that shall die, and of the son of man which shall be made as grass;
Na lusim tingting long BIKPELA, Man i bin wokim yu, na Man i bin mekim ol heven i kamap bikpela moa, na putim ol as ston bilong dispela graun? Na yu bin stap pret olgeta taim long olgeta wan wan de na as bilong dispela i belhat nogut tru bilong man i laik givim hevi, olsem em i redi long bagarapim? Na dispela belhat nogut tru bilong man i laik givim hevi em i stap we? | And forgettest the Lord thy maker, that hath stretched forth the heavens, and laid the foundations of the earth; and hast feared continually every day because of the fury of the oppressor, as if he were ready to destroy? and where is the fury of the oppressor?
Kalabusman i stap long narapela kantri i hariap bai em i ken lusim kalabus, na long em i no ken i dai pinis long bikpela hul, o long bret bilong em bai pinis. | The captive exile hasteneth that he may be loosed, and that he should not die in the pit, nor that his bread should fail.
Tasol Mi stap BIKPELA, God bilong yu, na Mi bin brukim solwara, ol biksi bilong em i singaut strong. BIKPELA bilong bikpela ami em i nem bilong Em. | But I am the Lord thy God, that divided the sea, whose waves roared: The Lord of hosts is his name.
Na Mi bin putim ol tok bilong Mi long maus bilong yu, na Mi bin karamapim yu long tewel bilong han bilong Mi, bai Mi ken planim ol heven, na putim ol as ston bilong dispela graun, na tokim Saion, Yu stap ol manmeri bilong Mi. | And I have put my words in thy mouth, and I have covered thee in the shadow of mine hand, that I may plant the heavens, and lay the foundations of the earth, and say unto Zion, Thou art my people.
¶ Kirap, kirap, sanap, O Jerusalem, yu husat i bin dring long kap bilong belhat nogut tru bilong BIKPELA long han bilong Em, na yu bin dringim ol las hap bilong kap bilong i stap guria, na kisim olgeta bilong ol dispela. | Awake, awake, stand up, O Jerusalem, which hast drunk at the hand of the Lord the cup of his fury; thou hast drunken the dregs of the cup of trembling, and wrung them out.
I no gat wanpela long soim rot long em namel long olgeta pikinini man em i bin karim, na tu i no gat wanpela i holim han bilong em bilong olgeta pikinini man em i bin mekim i kamap bikpela. | There is none to guide her among all the sons whom she hath brought forth; neither is there any that taketh her by the hand of all the sons that she hath brought up.
Dispela tupela samting i kam long yu, husat bai sori long yu? Pasin nogut, na bagarap, na taim bilong bikpela hangre, na bainat i kam, na husat bai Mi yusim bilong givim bel isi long yu? | These two things are come unto thee; who shall be sorry for thee? desolation, and destruction, and the famine, and the sword: by whom shall I comfort thee?
Ol pikinini man bilong yu i bin hap i dai, na ol i slip long het bilong olgeta rot olsem wel bulmakau man i stap long umben. Ol i pulap long belhat nogut tru bilong BIKPELA, em hatim bilong God bilong yu. | Thy sons have fainted, they lie at the head of all the streets, as a wild bull in a net: they are full of the fury of the Lord, the rebuke of thy God.
Olsem na harim dispela nau, yu husat i bin kisim hevi, na spak, tasol i no long wain. | Therefore hear now this, thou afflicted, and drunken, but not with wine:
Bikpela bilong yu, em BIKPELA, na God bilong yu, Em i gat strongpela askim bilong helpim ol manmeri bilong Em, Em i tok olsem, Harim, Mi bin tekewe long han bilong yu, dispela kap bilong guria, yes em las hap bilong kap bilong belhat nogut tru bilong Mi, na bai yu no dring moa long em gen. | Thus saith thy Lord the Lord, and thy God that pleadeth the cause of his people, Behold, I have taken out of thine hand the cup of trembling, even the dregs of the cup of my fury; thou shalt no more drink it again:
Tasol bai Mi putim dispela long han bilong ol husat i bin givim hevi long yu, na ol i bin toktok long tewel bilong yu, Lindaun, bai mipela inap go hapsait. Na yu bin slipim bodi bilong yu olsem graun na olsem rot long ol husat i go hapsait. | But I will put it into the hand of them that afflict thee; which have said to thy soul, Bow down, that we may go over: and thou hast laid thy body as the ground, and as the street, to them that went over.
