Yu no ken mekim mi kamap hetman bilong ol dispela manmeri. | In that day shall he swear, saying, I will not be an healer; for in my house is neither bread nor clothing: make me not a ruler of the people. |

Long wanem ol i bin givim pe i samting nogut i go long ol yet. | The shew of their countenance doth witness against them; and they declare their sin as Sodom, they hide it not. Woe unto their soul! for they have rewarded evil unto themselves. |

| 11 | Ol man i nogut, ol i mas lukaut! Dispela bai stap nogut long em. Long wanem BIKPELA bai givim pe bilong ol han bilong em long em. | Woe unto the wicked! it shall be ill with him: for the reward of his hands shall be given him. |

O manmeri bilong mi, ol husat i stap pasman bilong yu i kirapim yu long lusim rot na bagarapim wokabaut bilong ol liklik rot bilong yu. | As for my people, children are their oppressors, and women rule over them. O my people, they which lead thee cause thee to err, and destroy the way of thy paths. |

Ol kago yupela bin kisim na i bilong ol rabisman i stap long ol haus bilong yupela. | The Lord will enter into judgment with the ancients of his people, and the princes thereof: for ye have eaten up the vineyard; the spoil of the poor is in your houses. |
| 15 | Yupela i mekim wanem na yupela i paitim bilong brukim ol manmeri bilong Mi na skrapim ol pes bilong ol rabisman? Bikpela na God bilong bikpela ami i tok olsem. | What mean ye that ye beat my people to pieces, and grind the faces of the poor? saith the Lord God of hosts. |

Ol i wokabaut long pasin bilong pulim ol man na putim bilas bilong mekim musik long ol lek bilong ol. | Moreover the Lord saith, Because the daughters of Zion are haughty, and walk with stretched forth necks and wanton eyes, walking and mincing as they go, and making a tinkling with their feet: |

Na bai BIKPELA i mekim hap bodi i sem bilong ol i kamap ples klia. | Therefore the Lord will smite with a scab the crown of the head of the daughters of Zion, and the Lord will discover their secret parts. |

| 23 | Na ol glas bilong lukluk na ol waitpela laplap i gat rop i liklik tru i go nabaut long bros, na laplap bilong pasim gras, na ol naispela liklik laplap bilong karamapim pes. | The glasses, and the fine linen, and the hoods, and the vails. |
| 24 | Na bai em i kamap olsem, switpela smel bai senis na kamap sting, na naispela let bai senis na kamap baklain nating, na naispela gras bai senis na kamap kela, na naispela saket i gat bilas bai senis na kamap laplap bilong soim sori, na ol i luk naispela bai senis na bai ol i luk olsem wanpela i bin kukim pes bilong ol. | And it shall come to pass, that instead of sweet smell there shall be stink; and instead of a girdle a rent; and instead of well set hair baldness; and instead of a stomacher a girding of sackcloth; and burning instead of beauty. |
