| 2 | Na wanpela man bai stap olsem wanpela ples hait long win, na wanpela baret taim bikpela win i kamap. Em i olsem ol wara riva long wanpela hap i drai na olsem tewel bilong san bilong wanpela bikpela ston long hap graun i lusim strong bilong em. | And a man shall be as an hiding place from the wind, and a covert from the tempest; as rivers of water in a dry place, as the shadow of a great rock in a weary land. |
| 3 | Na ol ai bilong ol husat i lukluk, ol bai i no lusim strong. Na ol ia bilong ol husat i harim, bai ol i harim klia. | And the eyes of them that see shall not be dim, and the ears of them that hear shall hearken. |
| 4 | Na tu bel bilong ol man i laik hariap bai kisim save long gutpela save. Na tang bilong ol husat i kranki long toktok bai stap redi long tok klia. | The heart also of the rash shall understand knowledge, and the tongue of the stammerers shall be ready to speak plainly. |
| 5 | Na bai ol i no makim man i pulap long sin long em i man bilong givim planti samting, o ol i no makim man i laik holimpas ol samting bilong em long em i bikman i gat planti samting. | The vile person shall be no more called liberal, nor the churl said to be bountiful. |

Na long toktok i kirapim ol arapela long lusim rot na birua long BIKPELA, e m bai mekim dispela long mekim tewel bilong lain i hangre i no gat wanpela samting. Na wanem samting lain i nek i drai i laik dring, em bai pinisim dispela. | For the vile person will speak villany, and his heart will work iniquity, to practise hypocrisy, and to utter error against the Lord, to make empty the soul of the hungry, and he will cause the drink of the thirsty to fail. |

Long wanem ol pikinini bilong diwai wain bai bagarap na taim bilong bungim em i no inap kamap. | Many days and years shall ye be troubled, ye careless women: for the vintage shall fail, the gathering shall not come. |
| 11 | Yupela meri i hambak na malolo, yupela i mas guria. Yupela husat i tingting yupela i stap gut yupela i no ken i stap bel isi. Rausim klos bilong yupela na stap skin nating, na putim klos bilong soim sori long bel bilong yupela. | Tremble, ye women that are at ease; be troubled, ye careless ones: strip you, and make you bare, and gird sackcloth upon your loins. |

| 13 | Long graun bilong ol manmeri bilong mi ol rop i gat nil na ol gras nogut bai kamap. Yes, long olgeta haus bilong amamas tru long dispela biktaun bilong amamas tru. | Upon the land of my people shall come up thorns and briers; yea, upon all the houses of joy in the joyous city: |

Na em bai kamap ples bilong ol sipsip samting i ken kaikai. | Because the palaces shall be forsaken; the multitude of the city shall be left; the forts and towers shall be for dens for ever, a joy of wild asses, a pasture of flocks; |

| 16 | Long dispela taim stretpela kot bai stap long ples i no gat man, na stretpela pasin bai stap yet long gaden i karim planti kaikai. | Then judgment shall dwell in the wilderness, and righteousness remain in the fruitful field. |
| 17 | Na bel isi bai stap wok bilong stretpela pasin na stretpela pasin bai kirapim pasin bilong i stap isi na strongpela bilip long yu bai stap gut oltaim oltaim. | And the work of righteousness shall be peace; and the effect of righteousness quietness and assurance for ever. |
| 18 | Na ol manmeri bilong mi bai stap long hap i no gat pait na long ol haus i stap gut na long ol hap bilong malolo i no gat nois. | And my people shall dwell in a peaceable habitation, and in sure dwellings, and in quiet resting places; |
| 19 | Long taim ren ais i pundaun na kam long bikbus, dispela biktaun bai i stap daunbilo long wanpela hap i daunbilo. | When it shall hail, coming down on the forest; and the city shall be low in a low place. |
| 20 | Blesing i stap long yupela husat i tromoi ol pikinini kaikai klostu long olgeta wara, em lain i salim i go long dispela hap ol lek bilong ol bulmakau man na ol donki. | Blessed are ye that sow beside all waters, that send forth thither the feet of the ox and the ass. |
