| 3 | Na em bai kamap olsem long dispela de, BIKPELA bai givim yu malolo long ol hevi bilong yu, na ol pret bilong yu, na long dispela hatwok kalabus ol i bin mekim yu wok long em. | And it shall come to pass in the day that the Lord shall give thee rest from thy sorrow, and from thy fear, and from the hard bondage wherein thou wast made to serve, |

God i bin katim yu i go daun long graun, yu husat i bin mekim ol kantri i lusim strong! | How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! how art thou cut down to the ground, which didst weaken the nations! |

Long wanem long hap not bai wanpela smok i kam, na i no gat wanpela bai stap wanpis long ol taim God i bin makim long em. | Howl, O gate; cry, O city; thou, whole Palestina, art dissolved: for there shall come from the north a smoke, and none shall be alone in his appointed times. |

That the Lord hath founded Zion, and the poor of his people shall trust in it. |
