Jisas i tokim em, Meri, mi gat wanem wok wantaim yu? Aua bilong mi i no kamap yet. | Jesus saith unto her, Woman, what have I to do with thee? mine hour is not yet come.
Mama bilong em i tokim ol wokboi, Wanem samting em i tokim yupela, mekim dispela. | His mother saith unto the servants, Whatsoever he saith unto you, do it.

Tasol yu bin holim bek gutpela wain inap long nau. | And saith unto him, Every man at the beginning doth set forth good wine; and when men have well drunk, then that which is worse: but thou hast kept the good wine until now. |
Dispela stat bilong ol mirakel Jisas i mekim long Kena bilong Galili, na mekim glori bilong em kamap ples klia. Na ol disaipel bilong em i bilip long em. | This beginning of miracles did Jesus in Cana of Galilee, and manifested forth his glory; and his disciples believed on him.
¶ Bihain long dispela em i go daun long Kaperneam, em, na mama bilong em, na ol brata bilong em, na ol disaipel bilong em. Na ol i no stap yet planti de long dispela hap. | After this he went down to Capernaum, he, and his mother, and his brethren, and his disciples: and they continued there not many days.

Na em i kapsaitim ol mani bilong ol man bilong senisim mani, na tromoi ol tebol i go daun. | And when he had made a scourge of small cords, he drove them all out of the temple, and the sheep, and the oxen; and poured out the changers’ money, and overthrew the tables; |
Na em i tokim ol husat i salim ol balus long mani, Kisim ol dispela samting i lusim hia. No ken mekim haus bilong Papa bilong mi wanpela haus bilong kago. | And said unto them that sold doves, Take these things hence; make not my Father’s house an house of merchandise.
Na ol disaipel bilong em i tingim gen long dispela rait i stap pinis, Strongpela tingting long haus bilong yu i bin kaikai mi olgeta. | And his disciples remembered that it was written, The zeal of thine house hath eaten me up.
Nau ol Ju i bekim tok na tokim em, Yu soim wanem mak long mipela, taim mipela i luksave long yu wokim ol dispela samting? | Then answered the Jews and said unto him, What sign shewest thou unto us, seeing that thou doest these things?

Olsem na taim em i kirap bek pinis long dai, ol disaipel bilong em i tingim gen long em i bin toktok long dispela long ol. Na ol i bilipim rait bilong God, na dispela tok Jisas i bin toktok. | When therefore he was risen from the dead, his disciples remembered that he had said this unto them; and they believed the scripture, and the word which Jesus had said.
¶ Nau taim em i stap long Jerusalem long pasova, long de bilong dispela bikpela kaikai, planti i bilip long nem bilong em, taim ol i lukim ol dispela mirakel em i mekim. | Now when he was in Jerusalem at the passover, in the feast day, many believed in his name, when they saw the miracles which he did.
Tasol Jisas i no bin givim em yet long ol, bilong wanem, em i save long olgeta man, | But Jesus did not commit himself unto them, because he knew all men,
Na em i no gat nid long wanpela i mas tokaut klia long man. Long wanem, em i save wanem samting i stap insait long man. | And needed not that any should testify of man: for he knew what was in man.
