| 1 | ¶ Na mi sanap antap long wesan bilong biksi, na lukim wanpela animal i kirap ausait long biksi, na em i gat sevenpela het na tenpela kom, na antap long ol kom bilong em tenpela hat king, na antap long ol het bilong em dispela nem bilong tok bilas. | And I stood upon the sand of the sea, and saw a beast rise up out of the sea, having seven heads and ten horns, and upon his horns ten crowns, and upon his heads the name of blasphemy. |

Na dispela dregon i givim em pawa bilong em, na sia bilong em, na bikpela namba bilong bosim. | And the beast which I saw was like unto a leopard, and his feet were as the feet of a bear, and his mouth as the mouth of a lion: and the dragon gave him his power, and his seat, and great authority. |

Na dregon i givim em pawa long winim olgeta kandre, na ol tok ples, na ol kantri. | And it was given unto him to make war with the saints, and to overcome them: and power was given him over all kindreds, and tongues, and nations. |

Here is the patience and the faith of the saints. |

| 14 | Na em i giamanim ol husat i stap long dispela graun long wok bilong ol dispela mirakel, dispela em i gat pawa long wokim long hap ai bilong dispela animal i lukim, taim em i spik long ol husat i stap long dispela graun, long ol i mas wokim wanpela piksa long dispela animal, dispela i bin gat bagarap i kam long bainat, na em i no bin dai. | And deceiveth them that dwell on the earth by the means of those miracles which he had power to do in the sight of the beast; saying to them that dwell on the earth, that they should make an image to the beast, which had the wound by a sword, and did live. |
| 15 | Na em i gat pawa long givim laip long dispela piksa bilong dispela animal, inap long dispela piksa bilong dispela animal i ken toktok, na mekim long hamas man i no gat laik long lotuim piksa bilong dispela animal ol i mas kilim ol i dai wantaim. | And he had power to give life unto the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak, and cause that as many as would not worship the image of the beast should be killed. |
| 16 | Na em i mekim olgeta, man nating na bikman, maniman na rabisman, friman na slevman wantaim, long kisim wanpela mak long han sut bilong ol, o long ol poret bilong ol, | And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads: |
| 17 | Na long i no gat wanpela man i ken baim o salim samting, em tasol husat i gat dispela mak i ken, o nem bilong dispela animal, o namba bilong nem bilong em. | And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name. |
| 18 | Dispela em i save tru. Larim em husat i gat gutpela save kaunim namba bilong dispela animal. Long wanem, em i namba bilong wanpela man. Na namba bilong em em 666. | Here is wisdom. Let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast: for it is the number of a man; and his number is Six hundred threescore and six. |
