절King Jems Pisin BaibelKing James Version
¶ Long stat bilong taim Jehoiakim, pikinini man bilong Josaia, king bilong Juda, i bosim kingdom, dispela tok i kam long BIKPELA, i spik, In the beginning of the reign of Jehoiakim the son of Josiah king of Judah came this word from the Lord, saying,
BIKPELA i tok olsem, Sanap long ples op bilong haus bilong BIKPELA, na toktok long olgeta biktaun bilong Juda, husat i kam bilong lotu long haus bilong BIKPELA, olgeta dispela toktok Mi tok strong long yu long toktok i go long ol. Wanpela hap tok i no go daun. Thus saith the Lord; Stand in the court of the Lord’s house, and speak unto all the cities of Judah, which come to worship in the Lord’s house, all the words that I command thee to speak unto them; diminish not a word:
Sapos i olsem long ol bai harim, na tanim olgeta wan wan man i lusim pasin nogut bilong em, inap long Mi ken tanim bel bilong Mi long ol samting nogut, dispela Mi wokim tingting long mekim long ol, bilong tingim pasin nogut ol i wokim. If so be they will hearken, and turn every man from his evil way, that I may repent me of the evil, which I purpose to do unto them because of the evil of their doings.
Na yu bai tokim ol, BIKPELA i tok olsem, Sapos yupela i no laik harim long Mi, long wokabaut insait long lo bilong Mi, dispela Mi bin putim long ai bilong yupela, And thou shalt say unto them, Thus saith the Lord; If ye will not hearken to me, to walk in my law, which I have set before you,
Bilong harim ol toktok bilong ol wokboi bilong Mi ol profet, husat Mi salim long yupela, taim Mi kirap long moning tru, na taim Mi salim ol wantaim, tasol yupela i no bin harim, To hearken to the words of my servants the prophets, whom I sent unto you, both rising up early, and sending them, but ye have not hearkened;
Orait bai Mi mekim dispela haus wankain olsem Sailo, na Mi bai mekim dispela biktaun wanpela tok nogut long olgeta kantri bilong dispela graun. Then will I make this house like Shiloh, and will make this city a curse to all the nations of the earth.
¶ Olsem tasol ol pris na ol profet na olgeta manmeri i harim Jeremaia i autim ol dispela toktok insait long haus bilong BIKPELA. So the priests and the prophets and all the people heard Jeremiah speaking these words in the house of the Lord.
Nau em i kamap olsem, taim Jeremaia i bin wokim wanpela pinis long toktok long olgeta samting BIKPELA i bin tok strong long em long toktok long olgeta dispela manmeri, long ol pris na ol profet na olgeta manmeri i kisim em, i spik, Tru tumas, yu bai dai. Now it came to pass, when Jeremiah had made an end of speaking all that the Lord had commanded him to speak unto all the people, that the priests and the prophets and all the people took him, saying, Thou shalt surely die.
Bilong wanem yu bin autim tok profet long nem bilong BIKPELA, i spik, Dispela haus bai stap olsem Sailo, na dispela biktaun bai stap nating na i no gat wanpela man i stap? Na olgeta manmeri i bung i birua long Jeremaia long haus bilong BIKPELA. Why hast thou prophesied in the name of the Lord, saying, This house shall be like Shiloh, and this city shall be desolate without an inhabitant? And all the people were gathered against Jeremiah in the house of the Lord.
Taim ol hetman bilong Juda i harim ol dispela samting, nau ol i lusim haus bilong king i go long haus bilong BIKPELA, na sindaun long ai bilong nupela dua bilong banis bilong haus bilong BIKPELA. When the princes of Judah heard these things, then they came up from the king’s house unto the house of the Lord, and sat down in the entry of the new gate of the Lord’s house.
Nau ol pris na ol profet i toktok long ol hetman na long olgeta manmeri, i spik, Dispela man em i inap long dai, long wanem, em i bin autim tok profet i birua long dispela biktaun, olsem yupela i bin harim wantaim ol ia bilong yupela. Then spake the priests and the prophets unto the princes and to all the people, saying, This man is worthy to die; for he hath prophesied against this city, as ye have heard with your ears.
Nau Jeremaia i tokim olgeta hetman na olgeta manmeri, i spik, BIKPELA i salim mi long autim tok profet i birua long dispela haus na i birua long dispela biktaun wantaim olgeta dispela toktok yupela i bin harim. Then spake Jeremiah unto all the princes and to all the people, saying, The Lord sent me to prophesy against this house and against this city all the words that ye have heard.
Olsem na nau stretim ol pasin bilong yupela na ol wok bilong yupela, na bihainim nek bilong BIKPELA, God bilong yupela. Na BIKPELA bai tanim bel bilong Em long ol dispela samting nogut Em i bin kolim i birua long yupela. Therefore now amend your ways and your doings, and obey the voice of the Lord your God; and the Lord will repent him of the evil that he hath pronounced against you.
Long sait bilong mi, lukim, mi stap long han bilong yupela. Mekim long mi wanem samting i luk olsem i gutpela na i fit long ai bilong yupela. As for me, behold, I am in your hand: do with me as seemeth good and meet unto you.
Tasol yupela mas save stret, long sapos yupela i mekim mi dai, tru tumas, yupela bai bringim blut i no bin mekim rong antap long yupela yet, na antap long dispela biktaun, na antap long ol man i stap long en. Long wanem, em i tru BIKPELA i bin salim mi long yupela bilong autim olgeta dispela toktok long ol ia bilong yupela. But know ye for certain, that if ye put me to death, ye shall surely bring innocent blood upon yourselves, and upon this city, and upon the inhabitants thereof: for of a truth the Lord hath sent me unto you to speak all these words in your ears.
¶ Nau ol hetman na olgeta manmeri i tokim ol pris na ol profet, Dispela man em i no inap long dai. Long wanem, em i bin toktok long yumi long nem bilong BIKPELA, God bilong yumi. Then said the princes and all the people unto the priests and to the prophets; This man is not worthy to die: for he hath spoken to us in the name of the Lord our God.
Nau sampela bilong ol lapun hetman bilong dispela hap i kirap, na tokim olgeta bung bilong ol manmeri i, i spik, Then rose up certain of the elders of the land, and spake to all the assembly of the people, saying,
Man Moreset-gat Maika i autim tok profet long ol de bilong Hesekaia, king bilong Juda, na em i autim long olgeta manmeri bilong Juda, i spik, BIKPELA bilong ol ami i tok olsem, Ol bai brukim Saion olsem ol i brukim graun long wanpela bikpela gaden, na Jerusalem bai kamap ol hip, na maunten bilong dispela haus olsem ol ples antap bilong wanpela bikbus. Micah the Morasthite prophesied in the days of Hezekiah king of Judah, and spake to all the people of Judah, saying, Thus saith the Lord of hosts; Zion shall be plowed like a field, and Jerusalem shall become heaps, and the mountain of the house as the high places of a forest.
Ating Hesekaia king bilong Juda na olgeta Juda i mekim em i dai liklik? Ating i yes long em i pret long BIKPELA, na askim BIKPELA long daun pasin, na BIKPELA i tanim bel bilong Em long samting nogut, dispela Em i bin kolim i birua long ol? Olsem tasol yumi ken bringim bikpela samting nogut i birua long ol tewel bilong yumi. Did Hezekiah king of Judah and all Judah put him at all to death? did he not fear the Lord, and besought the Lord, and the Lord repented him of the evil which he had pronounced against them? Thus might we procure great evil against our souls.
Na i gat wanpela man i stap tu husat i autim tok profet long nem bilong BIKPELA, Yuraisa, pikinini man bilong Semea bilong Kiriat-jerim, husat i autim tok profet i birua long dispela biktaun na i birua long dispela hap bilong bihainim olgeta toktok bilong Jeremaia. And there was also a man that prophesied in the name of the Lord, Urijah the son of Shemaiah of Kirjath–jearim, who prophesied against this city and against this land according to all the words of Jeremiah:
Na taim king Jehoiakim, wantaim olgeta strongpela man bilong em, na olgeta hetman, i harim ol toktok bilong em, king i painim rot long mekim em i dai. Tasol taim Yuraisa i harim dispela, em i pret, na ranawe, na go long Isip. And when Jehoiakim the king, with all his mighty men, and all the princes, heard his words, the king sought to put him to death: but when Urijah heard it, he was afraid, and fled, and went into Egypt;
Na king Jehoiakim i salim ol man i go long Isip, em i olsem, Elnatan, pikinini man bilong Akbor, na sampela man wantaim em i go long Isip. And Jehoiakim the king sent men into Egypt, namely, Elnathan the son of Achbor, and certain men with him into Egypt.
Na ol i kisim Yuraisa i kam ausait long Isip, na bringim em i go long king Jehoiakim, husat i kilim em i dai wantaim bainat, na tromoi daibodi bilong em long ol matmat bilong ol man nating. And they fetched forth Urijah out of Egypt, and brought him unto Jehoiakim the king; who slew him with the sword, and cast his dead body into the graves of the common people.
Tasol han bilong Ahikam pikinini man bilong Safan,, i stap wantaim Jeremaia, inap long ol i no ken givim em long han bilong ol lain manmeri bilong mekim em i dai. Nevertheless the hand of Ahikam the son of Shaphan was with Jeremiah, that they should not give him into the hand of the people to put him to death.
